Legendary Gospel Singer Kim Burrell fans were spun into a frenzy of worry last night (March 4) after R&B Singer Tyrese Gibson took to social media to report the Gospel diva was battling an unexpected health scare. The R&B singer was beside himself with worry and began asking for donations and prayer warriors to come to the aid of his Spiritual mother..... In a heartfelt message posted on Instagram Tyrese says Kim Burrell is suffering from pneumonia in both lungs and is worried sick about missing shows and losing money. Make it make sense! Why did Tyrese think Kim could not pay her medical bills? Plus, didn't she berate the public for being broke???  

I’m glad she is speaking out. I never cared for their show. You could always tell the mom and dad we’re not quite right. And the dad was incredibly creepy. This Pastor had someone race to him on stage, and put a gun to his head for teaching on tithing....and the crowd said, Amen???? Y'all, I can't imagine sitting in church ready to worship the Lord, and out comes a man with a gun. How awful! Think of the visitors that might have been there! What about the children? The elderly? How traumatizing! It seems like it should illegal. What do you all think? New Testament doesn't talk about tithing but it talks about cheerful giving as the heart leads. Christ was a son of a carpenter. Paul was a tent maker. Peter was a fisherman. Luke was a doctor etc. the pastor should go look for a job and work.

  Pastor Stacie Wood, teaching pastor at Saddleback Church and wife of lead pastor Andy Wood, wrote an Instagram post about her church’s ousting. She credited her Southern Baptist upbringing for shaping her faith, but stood firm on heeding her calling despite being “at the center of the discussion.”   “ I’m serving Jesus under the authority and in alignment with my spiritual leaders, ”  Wood wrote.   “ We believe that women can be gifted and empowered as teachers and as pastors. ”   Her husband told the congregation during weekend services about his plan to release a video explaining the church’s position on women pastors. Wood told The Associated Press last year that the Bible “teaches that men and women were given spiritual gifts by God.” Source Here:

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade delivered a powerful acceptance speech about the importance of supporting the Black trans and LGBTQ community when receiving the prestigious President's Award at the 2023 NAACP Image Awards Saturday night. "I am intentional when I use my platform. I recognize what I have been given and it is my job to uplift the voices of others and share my access and resources," Wade said.  In my opinion, one of the reasons Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade trigger so many and have received so much pushback with this speech is because so many parents know they would never have the courage to stand with and defend their own child the way the Wades just did. It’s so pathetic how two people loving their child have incited so much online hate. As my own father fights for his life in the hospital, I had to remember that he raised 3 fighters & I fought to get thru the speech. Once D said the word "father" I just broke. Thank

After the death of his brother, Bishop James Morton, Bishop Paul Morton announced this weekend the new Pastor of New Beginnings Full Gospel Church. Pastor Timothy Boles, the present pastor of Timothy Baptist Church in Athens, Georgia, will be the next pastor. Bishop Morton requested that the service be moved by one hour to allow their new pastor to serve both congregations. Bishop Morton stated unequivocally that “God” has spoken, and that his successor was given orders by the late Bishop James Morton. “Pastors, I intend no disrespect, but don’t submit your resumes here; they are not wanted,” Bishop Morton stated.
