Ex-pastor Takes Church Money To Buy A Million-dollar Condominium πŸ˜’

Image
One of Miami's oldest Black churches has until Sept. 11 to pay back a $1.6 million mortgage taken out in the church's name by its former pastor, or three of its main buildings, including a fellowship hall where service is held, will be auctioned off, a Miami-Dade judge has ordered. The former pastor of St. John Institutional Missionary Baptist Church in Miami was fired after learning that he took out two mortgages totaling nearly $2.5 million in the church's name in 2017 and 2018 that the church said it did not know about at the time.  Before Bishop James D. Adams signed his name to two mortgages on the church totaling nearly $2.5 million, St. John Institutional Missionary Baptist Church in Overtown — one of the oldest Black churches in Miami — was in good financial standing. But after months and months of missed payments and a shake-up of church leadership, St. John’s is now facing foreclosure on three of its properties that were pledged as collateral against the loans. SBC Leader Dr. Willie McLaurin Resigns After Admitting He Falsified Resume🀦‍♀️

Image
This is unbelievable. He goes by Doctor. If he didn’t have any of these THREE degrees they investigated, what actual degrees DOES he have and is he an actual doctor of anything or has that been a lie all along?  Anyhow, Willie McLaurin, the acting president of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Executive Committee, resigned suddenly on Thursday (Aug. 17) after admitting he had falsified his resume. “While considering McLaurin as a candidate for Floyd’s permanent replacement, the SBC Executive Committee’s Presidential Search Team discovered disqualifying information during their process of vetting and due diligence,” said Philip Robertson, chairman of the SBC Executive Committee, in a statement. “McLaurin’s education credentials that he presented in his resume are false.” The statement quoted from McLaurin’s resignation letter, saying he admitted falsifying his resume. “In a recent resume that I submitted, it included schools that I did not attend or complete the course of study,” Mc

This young man Joshua Joseph is one of my favorite creators on Instagram. I love his brilliance and his attention to detail.....some are saying that The Shaderoom is a danger to democracy and the black community. I love how everyone keeps saying Biden gave trillions of dollars to Ukraine as if he authorized it without Congress first approving it… The conspiracy theories that are flying around about this one are crazy! Even if you don’t like Biden, my Lord, he’s done, but he is supposed to do in the situation, unlike the Cheeto man. Keep being awesome young man.   View this post on Instagram A post shared by Joshua Joseph (@jwilliamj8)

Pastor indicted alongside Trump in Georgia election meddling case.

Image
Among those indicted in Georgia on Monday alongside Trump was a retired pastor from the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod denomination, who was charged with crimes in connection to efforts to intimidate an election worker. "Up until at least this weekend, Lee served Living Word Lutheran Church in Orland Park, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. He preached at the church as recently as Sunday when he delivered a sermon focused on the Book of Job."

Harrison Floyd — Director of “Black Voices for Trump” Has Been Criminally Inducted🀣

According to Twitter, Harrison Floyd , director of Black Voices for Trump, has been charged in Georgia for his involvement in orchestrating a criminal enterprise to overturn the results of the 2020 election. Doesn’t get any more useless than this one. Blacks were indicted for trying to overthrow the government! Is that some crazy stuff?

Former Pastor Allegedly Operated $1.4 million Theft Ring to Steal From The Home Depot.

Image
A former Florida pastor has been accused of operating a multi-million dollar theft ring spanning several Florida counties. “This pastor clearly skipped over the commandment—thou shall not steal,” said Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody in a statement. Authorities arrested Robert Dell, 56, and four other associates for stealing merchandise worth more than $1.4 million from several of The Home Depot stores and then selling the merchandise on eBay under the name ‘Anointed Liquidator.”  The virtual store has a 100% approval rating and has registered more than 35,000 items sold over the past decade, according to its page on the online retailer’s website. Dell faces several felony charges, including racketeering, conspiracy to commit racketeering, and dealing in stolen property as an organizer. Source Here:

Retired NFL Star Michael Oher Find Out HIs White Family Never Adopted, And Has Been Profiting Off Him For Years.

Image
Retired NFL star Michael Oher, whose supposed adoption out of grinding poverty by a wealthy, white family was immortalized in the 2009 movie "The Blind Side," petitioned a Tennessee court Monday with allegations that a central element of the story was a lie concocted by the family to enrich itself at his expense. The 14-page petition, filed in Shelby County, Tennessee, probate court, alleges that Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy, who took Oher into their home as a high school student, never adopted him. Instead, less than three months after Oher turned 18 in 2004, the petition says, the couple tricked him into signing a document making them his conservators, which gave them legal authority to make business deals in his name. Good News, Brett Favre Will Not Be Removed From The Mississippi Civil Lawsuit Seeking To Recover Millions Of The State’s Misspent Welfare Dollars.

Image
The Mississippi Supreme Court says it will not remove NFL Hall of Famer Brett Favre as a defendant in a civil lawsuit seeking to recover millions of dollars of misspent welfare money meant to help some of the poorest people in the United States.  Favre asked a judge to remove him from the civil lawsuit as he continues to deny the allegations against him. In April, Hinds County Circuit Judge Faye Peterson refused his request. He then took his case to the Mississippi Supreme Court in hopes they would remove him.  On Thursday, the state's Supreme Court also denied Brett Favre's request. He is one of dozens listed in the civil lawsuit filed by Mississippi's Department of Human Services last year. The department is looking to recover millions of dollars intended for low-income residents in the state. The allegations against Brett Favre date back to 2020. It was then that the state of Mississippi did an internal audit and found that $77 million was misused.  The money was intende

Republicans Are Now Complaining That Jesus Is Too Liberal.

Image
When the GOP House rejects taking care of the people in need, I knew they weren't Christians. Remember the slave owners went to church every Sunday. We've all known for years that most Christians weren't Christians anymore, but even so, this is shocking. I wonder what they *think* they are.  Evangelical Christian leader Russell Moore revealed this week that many evangelical pastors have become alarmed that their Trump-loving congregants have become so militant that they are even rejecting the teachings of Jesus Christ.  In an interview with NPR, Moore said that multiple pastors had told him disturbing stories about their congregants being upset when they read from the famous "Sermon on the Mount" in which Christ espoused the principles of forgiveness and mercy as central to Christian doctrine. Multiple pastors tell me, essentially, the same story about quoting the Sermon on the Mount, parenthetically in their preaching turn the other cheek [and] to have someone

Pastor Jamal Bryant Gets Pushback For Old Message Claiming Jesus Was Wrong 85% Of His Life🀦‍♂️

Image
I think this whole sermon was taken out of context. Pastor Jamal Bryant Senior Pastor of the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Stonecrest, Georgia, is getting some pushback for an old message in which he claims Jesus was “wrong” for 85% of His life despite being called, anointed, and chosen. I like Jamal Bryant but he needs to have SEVERAL seats on this one. The people who were there should have got up and walked out!!!   Jesus was GOD IN THE FLESH!! He meant something from the time he was placed in Mary's womb all the way until he gave up his last breath on the cross!! He was PERFECT. SINLESS AND OBEDIENT to the heavenly Father and to his earthly parents!    “ Jesus accepted His call to ministry at 30. He had been in carpentry since he was 13. He ran the family business since he was 17. At the risk of being heretical tonight, might I suggest to you, that 85% of Jesus's life, He was out of order, ” Bryant told congregants at The Chosen Vessel Cathedral in Fort Worth, Tex

Call On Your Ancestors And Say Their Names!

Image
Jesus, help us it’s getting out of hand down here 😳Oxford Grad Student George Anthony Pratt says call on your ancestors and say their names! No ma’am. No sir...I get it, I’m my ancestor's wildest dream but AINT BUT ONE NAME and that's JESUS....the Internet streets are saying this is why if you go to seminary, make sure they believe in the sufficiency and supremacy of Christ......yall for the Christian this is false doctrine......there is a difference between honoring our ancestors and ancestral worship.  This is why it’s so important to know the word and know God, and develop a relationship with the Holy Spirit for yourself! Both of my grandmothers and my mom are no longer living and their “spirits” can’t do not one thing for me. I get it to not forget the former forerunners of the faith and of your history, with respect and honor but to say we can call on the names of our ancestors is unbiblical and wrong. This is erroneous theology! We call on Jesus, sir NOT ancestors! And

Why Are Churches Choosing To Have Dark Sanctuaries?

Image
I think it’s just a fad. It actually makes the church seem more like movie theaters and entertainment centers. It highlights the people on stage as more important and taking away from the focus on God and placing it on the person! I feel it is more of an issue with the nondenominational churches and the mega-churches. The low light is supposed to project a calm and peaceful atmosphere. It also allows for anonymity. Which supposedly frees one from feeling judged and therefore they are more likely to raise hands, sing along, etc..... There is also the theater aspect. It highlights the stage and gives entertainment vibes. However, the church is not about going and being entertained. I personally would fall asleep. I like a bright sunny church. Lizzo Dancers Allege Christianity Was Pushed On Them🀦‍♂️

Image
Melissa Viviane Jefferson, known professionally as Lizzo, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, actress, and musician. Lizzo is in the news denying what she calls “false allegations” from three former dancers who are suing the Grammy winner for sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment. The lawsuit filed by some of Lizzo's backing dancers last week includes allegations that Christianity was forced onto them. The claims by three of Lizzo's former dancers range from sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment to "religious and racial harassment, false imprisonment, interference with prospective economic advantage and other allegations", NBC reports.   “These last few days have been gut-wrenchingly difficult and overwhelmingly disappointing,” said the 35-year-old “Truth Hurts” singer in a statement released on social media. “My work ethic, morals, and respectfulness have been questioned. My character has been criticized. Usually, I c

I Absolutely Love The Montgomery Alabama Mollywop, Try That In A Small Town.

Image
So this happened Saturday in Montgomery Alabama. Some suspected white supremacists assaulted and jumped on a Black security guard at a riverboat after he told them to move their boat. The Black community pulled up and reminded the suspected white supremacists that this wasn’t the year 1963. Try THAT in a Small Town. The Harriot II Riverboat is a party boat that offers dinner, dancing, and entertainment on the river walk in Alabama. They had returned to the dock and were trying to park so the passengers could get off the boat when a random smaller boat parked in their spot. When they were asked to move, they got off their boat and walked away. The people on the riverboat started chanting Rapper Ludacris's song Move B! tch Get Out the Way. When someone from the boat crew got off the Riverboat to confront the people on the smaller boat a fight broke out. The workers from the Riverboat got into a fight with the passengers from the smaller boat as well as women from both boats. They

What Did He Say That Was Antisemitic??

Image
Y’all. So Jaime Foxx is in hot water with the Jewish community and being accused of Antisemitism over this post. The actor Jamie Foxx has apologized after a social media post from him drew accusations of antisemitism. Foxx’s post – on Instagram – read: “They killed this dude name Jesus … what do you think they’ll do to you???! #fakefriends #fakelove”. But the 55-year-old entertainer deleted the post after fellow users asserted that it echoed the hateful belief that Jewish people all together as one crucified and killed Jesus Christ.   That idea has been used to justify violence against Jews for centuries, such as during the Holocaust, when 6 million were murdered in Europe by the Nazis. A major document signed by the worldwide Roman Catholic church’s leadership during the Second Vatican Council in 1965 officially condemned the idea that Jews were collectively guilty of Christ’s killing. https://www.theguardian.com/film/2023/aug/06/jamie-foxx-apologizes-instagram-post-antisemitism

Let me see if I get this right....Mandela is widely celebrated for his leadership in bringing an end to apartheid, and his efforts were recognized worldwide, earning him numerous awards and accolades. After his release from prison in 1990, Mandela played a pivotal role in negotiations to end apartheid and initiate democratic elections in South Africa.
