It also includes the death penalty in certain cases. A rights activist told the BBC the debate around the bill had led to fear of more attacks on gay people. "There is a lot of blackmail. People are receiving calls that 'if you don't give me money, I will report that you are gay,'" they said. The bill is one of the toughest pieces of anti-gay legislation in Africa. Homosexual acts are already illegal in Uganda but this bill introduces many new criminal offenses. As well as making merely identifying as gay illegal for the first time, friends, family, and members of the community would have a duty to report individuals in same-sex relationships to the authorities. What do yall think about this? A woman who attends James River Church in Missouri claims prayer helped her regrow her three amputated toes in the span of 30 minutes. I guess she forgot that there is a scientific fact that the body does not regrow limbs, once gone they are gone. The pastor has claimed that a "creative miracle" caused the woman's amputated toes to regrow. Still, an apparent refusal to provide any proof has inspired a very skeptical response from some. Throughout my timeline, I see people talking about this movie. I just can't believe people are actually supporting the film. There's nothing wrong with the message of deliverance, what's wrong is some of the folks delivering the message. According to a report from The New York Post, federal prosecutors allege in an indictment that controversial Brooklyn Bishop Lamar Whitehead illegally fixed his bank records in order to finance his million-dollar New Jersey mansion. The feds claim that Whitehead altered his bank records to show that an LLC he controlled made an average of $2 million when it actually had less than $10 so that he could get approved for the mortgage. The 44-year-old created a fake bank account so that he could get the bank loan in 2019. Whitehead “fabricated bank records for AMS LLC, from at least in or about October 2018 up to and including … February 2019, in an effort to obtain a mortgage in excess of $1.3 million to fund [his] purchase of a home in Paramus, New Jersey,” Manhattan federal prosecutors wrote in the indictment.   Pastor Stacie Wood, teaching pastor at Saddleback Church and wife of lead pastor Andy Wood, wrote an Instagram post about her church’s ousting. She credited her Southern Baptist upbringing for shaping her faith, but stood firm on heeding her calling despite being “at the center of the discussion.”   “ I’m serving Jesus under the authority and in alignment with my spiritual leaders, ”  Wood wrote.   “ We believe that women can be gifted and empowered as teachers and as pastors. ”   Her husband told the congregation during weekend services about his plan to release a video explaining the church’s position on women pastors. This is troubling at so many levels. I especially felt cringy when people were clapping and praising her for doing it. It’s not right or wrong, it’s weird to announce it to the world. And should be taxed accordingly The Mormon Church has agreed to pay a $1 million penalty to settle charges brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission, which accused the church of failing to disclose its $32 billion equity investment portfolio. Georgia pastor sentenced to 45 years for sexually assaulting 14-year-old after luring her into his car. Macon Judicial Circuit Attorney Anita R. Howard said that on Sept. 3, 2021, 33-year-old Donald Williams was driving his car when he approached a 14-year-old girl outside her school. In mid-January, a church in Cumberland, Indiana, fired Tonya Rachelle Voris, 52, as the executive director of Kidz Life Childcare Ministry after she admitted to giving melatonin gummies to over a dozen kids to help them sleep. She is now facing 17 charges—11 counts of neglect of a dependent and six counts of reckless supervision by a childcare provider. This story is trending, a Mozambican pastor has died after fasting for 40 days, in an attempt to copy what Jesus Christ is said to have done in the Bible. The death of Francisco Barajah, the pastor and founder of the Santa Tridad Evangelical Church in the central province of Manca, was confirmed on Wednesday. He died while being treated at the hospital in Beira where he was evacuated in critical condition. After 25 days of fasting, he had lost a lot of weight to the point where he could not stand up, bathe or walk. Some of you may have seen the articles about the so-called “revival” at Asbury University in Kentucky, which are posted all over the internet, and some people have been posting on FB, questioning whether this is a genuine revival or some kinda scam. Tucked away deep within the guard-gated and famously expensive Bradbury Estates community, the fully landscaped compound consists of three structures laden with numerous custom amenities. Built-in 2000 by prolific local estate specialists Mur-Sol Builders, the mansion-sized main house offers six potential bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms in 7,300 square feet. Popoff and Liz, his wife of 50+ years, have resided in the French chateau-inspired structure for 16 years, since early 2007, when they bought the place for $4.5 million.

This is interesting news coming out that Investigators have found that Russell Wilson’s foundation has spent just 24.3 cents of every dollar on charitable activities in 2020 and 2021 combined. The foundation has raised millions, but only a quarter of it goes to charity. Worth noting that he won the 2020 Walter Peyton man of the year award in 2020 because of his foundation. The Why Not You Foundation was founded by Wilson and his wife, pop star Cierra, in 2014 with the goal of lifting people out of poverty through education. 

 What yall think about this, a plea deal agreement has significantly reduced the punishment for a Michigan pastor accused of paying teenage boys to engage in inappropriate acts with his wife at his home. Last month, Judge Paul J. Bridenstine sentenced Stricjavvar “Strick” Strickland, 40, to one year in Kalamazoo County Jail after he pleaded guilty to one felony count of facilitation of travel services for purposes of prostitution. The allegations first surfaced in August 2018 when Michigan State Police said a complainant walked in and filed a report on incidents that occurred in 2015. Following, another victim reported to authorities. Police then raided the Strickland home in September 2018. Strickland was the pastor at the Second Baptist Church in Kalamazoo. He also worked for Kalamazoo Public Schools from 2013-2015 as a paraprofessional at the district’s alternative middle school.
