He claims that he has always done his best to lead a life of openness and authenticity. In honoring his family I have attempted to be patient and thoughtful about when, and how, to share these changes. A fundraising ( You Can Read About It Here ) campaign to help small churches during the COVID-19 pandemic has been extended with a $100,000 donation to congregations of the Church of God in Christ. The Churches Helping Churches initiative started early in the pandemic in 2020 with an emphasis on larger congregations helping smaller ones at risk of closing. The relief fund benefited recipients in low-income neighborhoods disproportionately affected by the resulting economic shutdown. In the end, $3,000 grants were distributed to 450 U.S. congregations, totaling $1.4 million. But even though the active fundraising for the campaign ended, money still came in over the past year. 

This list is likely the tip of the iceberg. If this is just the list of the ones who were convicted, how many did they shelter from prosecution? Hundreds? Thousands? A third alleged victim says she was 13 when Hatcher sexually assaulted her inside his home in Philadelphia. The alleged attacks stretch back decades. A report was released over the weekend by an independent agency about how church leadership handled sexual abuse in the Southern Baptist Church (SBC) from Jan. 1, 2000, to June 14, 2021. The nearly 300-page report includes horrifying information about more than 700 predators, including pastors, other staff, and even a former SBC president! The report also examined the SBC executive committee (EC), which had previously conducted its own internal investigation into these allegations. One of many disgusting elements of the SBC Report being released is the SBC pastors tweeting empty verses and clichés, stating how shocked they are. Of all the things the report is, it’s not “shocking.” These folks are the number one supporters of Donald Trump.  Advocates and survivors have been screaming at the top of their lungs for years. On Sunday, scum bag Pastor John B. Lowe of New Life Christian Church in Warsaw, Indiana confessed to sexually assaulting a child decades ago. Actually, he didn’t come out and say that. He only confessed to “adultery.” It was only when the victim took the stage moments later to correct the record—she was 16 and he assaulted her—that he finally acknowledged it. And then the church embraced… the scum bab. So basically this scum bag raped this person for 9 years and waited for that statute of limitations to hit them once he felt it’s been long enough he has to tell someone so why not turn it into a Sunday school lesson. These people always seek positions of power. Politicians, religious leaders, and educators. Instead, they should receive the same punishment a dog gets when it harms a child.  

So yesterday the UCC Naples Church became a target of threats because it hosted a teen pride celebration. This is what under the DeSantis dictatorship in Florida and his bill "Don't say gay." The teen pride event at the Naples church Saturday which included a drag show is drawing attention.   Well look at this, Jordan Daniel “J.D.” Hall, pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church in Sidney, Montana, and publisher of the online Christian polemics site Protestia were arrested on May 11 after a traffic stop. The Montana Baptist pastor who has spent years warning that we liberals were taking over the Southern Baptist Convention and evangelical churches, was arrested on DUI and weapons charges.  According to a copy of the initial offense report obtained by Religion News Service, Hall was charged at 11 p.m. with driving under the influence and carrying a concealed weapon while intoxicated. How can a man say that you don’t have the level of traction of a high-powered man when that man has to get a GoFundMe for his funeral?” After the video was made public information about the gofundme came forth. It was discovered Kevin Samuels's associate Melanie King created the GoFundMe to help cover funeral expenses. However, it was discovered it was not cleared with or discussed with his family. You all who have followed this blog for a minute know that hubby and I left the church building years ago with a promise never to return, guess what we went back.   Five years ago my husband and I left our church. We simply one Sunday stopped attending and never went back. We did not have a falling out with the church or a negative experience that drove us away. In fact, our time at the church had been very positive. The church was a very honest church that dealt with real life, has a heart for the poor, and my hubby was touched by the Holy Spirit a couple of times in worship there. The reason we left our church was that we had lost all motivation to do any type of Christian behavior during the darkest of times, life pressure. I agree with Jacksonville FL, Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church, Pastor H.B.Charles Jr. while citing Colossians 1:28. that pastors should be using their time in the pulpit to preach about Jesus, not pontificating about the latest comments made by talking heads on Fox News or MSNBC, has gone viral. In my humble opinion, if mainstream media was important, it would have been mentioned in the Bible. Since it ain't, the Gospel is obviously much more important.

White evangelicals are the devil. So basically with all that funding, the American government sends them, we are providing their women with abortions but won’t pay for them here. For an Israeli woman who wishes to end a pregnancy, the process is not only legal but is usually heavily subsidized or free, covered under Israel’s national health care system. Which our tax dollars help fund and white evangelicals support.

As an old Marvel fan, I am disappointed. As a Christian, I am heartbroken that this is considered entertainment, which brings me to today's post.  According to some in the Christian community, the new Marvel Movie Mr. Strange is too dark, too demonic, and too dangerous for young minds. Therefore they're issuing this as an apostolic warning. If you are not willing to introduce demons to your children then why allow a so-called innocent movie attendance to do it? An Indian surgeon plans to transplant a womb into a TRANS woman in the world-first op that could pave way for biological men to get pregnant.  Dr. Narendra Kaushik plans to do an op at a gender reassignment clinic in New Delhi.  Only one documented case ever of a womb being inserted into a biological man.  But it was fatal and impregnating a trans woman with a new womb has never been done. A surgeon in India will attempt to transplant a womb into a trans woman who was born a man — with the view to making them pregnant. The risky procedure will involve taking the reproductive organs from a dead donor or a patient who has transitioned the other way and had theirs removed. There has only been one documented case of a womb being inserted into a trans woman in the past — but she died from complications just months later. Last week, a leaked draft decision showed the Supreme Court appears ready to overturn its landmark decision establishing the right to an abortion. But the crucial vote on the future of Roe v. Wade was cast when that idiot Donald Trump was elected president. Anyhow, yesterday at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, one of the largest predominately Black churches in the state, senior pastor the Rev. Jamal Bryant said the draft opinion is evidence that the U.S. Supreme Court “has no confidence in women making decisions about their own bodies.” Bryant read a portion of comments made by the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg that when government controls the decision about abortion, women are “treated as less than a full adult.” “If America is anything more than racist, it is sexist,” Bryant said during his sermon. “It is diabolically designed to keep women out of power and in a subservient place.”  

Imagine spending literally THOUSANDS of dollars for a surrogate and all her prenatal care, just to not come to get your babies.  This lady deserves respect for becoming a surrogate for a couple who couldn’t have a child for whatever reason, for carrying twins and preparing to mentally part with them after their birth, and now, taking care of and loving them for 14 months. Pastor, Prophet, and Social Media Influencer Ryan Chandler has been murdered. Allegedly, he picked up a hitchhiker, as he drove down the street. It appears an argument occurred, after which the hitchhiker pulled out a gun and shot him in the head, killing him in his car. Because the car is a crime scene, the family is unable to retrieve it or any of his personal belongings that are in the vehicle. Say what you will and want this man was the real deal. Wayne Peck, who retired from being the pastor of Community House Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh in 2017, turned himself into the authority on Tuesday. According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Peck was charged with receiving stolen property and theft, with the former pastor had allegedly stolen $357,478 from the church.
