Worship Leader Chandler Moore 'Inappropriate' Wedding Post Angers Christians!!
Yall the above picture has set off a firestorm online after Worship Leader Chandler Moore post a picture of him simulating doggy style as his wife “twerks” on him after their wedding. In my opinion, this is an inappropriate picture to post on social media, especially if you are claiming to work for the kingdom of GOD. The picture is distasteful and inappropriate for public consumption. They should’ve kept that to themselves. Don't get me wrong, they’re young and probably wouldn’t share this with the world as they grow and mature in Christ. Any believer who doesn’t see anything wrong with it is revealing where they are in Christ and how much they reverence the Lord. The spirit of the fear of the Lord is missing in the church today. This pic is evidence. I pray God will open their eyes to show them a better way of glorifying Him.
Chandler Moore is an American Christian singer, songwriter, and worship leader. Moore is a member of the Maverick City Music collective and has a leading role in the production department of the All Nations Worship Assembly in Atlanta, Georgia.

I keep telling yall that if they are allowed to sing their "sexy" church music in church, and people applaud and affirm them for doing so, they gonna get the big head and hfeel no shame when they put their "sexuality" on display before the world.

We have to remember these are very young believers who live their lives in the public eye. They are influenced by the rappers and singers of today. We have to choose who we decide to allow to be the voice of Yah in our lives. When I was a child I put away childish things.

DeleteI remember a few years ago (on THIS blog) that showed a video of Kirk Franklin using his hands to "fan" or beat the air in a music video. Kirk was raked through the coals by people on this blog for supposedly simulating a sex act. Mind you, he was just using his hands and no woman was near him when he did this.
ReplyDeleteI watched the video over and over and couldn't see what people were mad about. Yet, almost every last one comment was about that one "inappropriate" part of Kirk's video.
Now here we are YEARS LATER when everyone wants to Chandler a PASS. My...how times have changed!
And you know what?... Kirk Franklin SHOULD have been raked. I'd you go back and watch Kirk's video, this fool did a whole dance routine wearing that effoeminate dress thingy.

There's nothing wrong with Hannah twerking for Chandler but there was no need honestly. There's a thin line between being relevant and representing Christ, and a lot of Christian celebs cross that line without even knowing because they are trying so hard to be relevant or "woke"

Sure it’s nice to be excited about being married.
This wasn’t thought out at all.
If your a true worship leader you know that the wedding SHOULD BE a holy and happy moment.
You can be excited about being intimate with your new spouse WITHOUT giving friends, family and the still single people the image of your sexual positions.
Not everything should be public. Yeah they’re married but why we gotta know this info? Why people gotta see this? We’ve become so brainwashed into thinking our sex lives and everything is public info.

This is really sad to see! The world might be ok taking pictures like these, but as Set Apart Children of GOD, we should not be ok with taking such pictures, whether married or not!!!
ReplyDeleteMs. Ann sadly, he’s hurting his own influence and testimony. As a church we focus so much on gifts and talents and let people live sloppy because of those things. I personally have stopped listening to most Christian music and sing my own songs of praise to the Lord. Music can be an idol. I’m not interested in following hipsters and “cool” people. If he didn’t know the sexual pic was inappropriate than he’s not fit to lead. Those who approve are still baby Christians and probably living like the world daily. We will know them by their fruit. Holy Spirit in me would never allow me to get in that position for a picture. Makes you wonder who he surrounds himself with as well that he even feels comfortable acting like that. Just because someone gives you the feels doesn’t mean they are anointed. The anointing breaks bondage and changes lives. The church is in big trouble because many mistake celebrity worship and feelings as anointing and yet their lives never level up spiritually. There is a remnant though. The road is narrow.

I recently started listening to Chandler and thought that his music was highly anointed but when i saw that picture i was wandering did he marry in the Lord. Satan knows how to dress himself up as an Angel of light because he knows what the goal is kill, steal and destroy. This man is touching lives through Worship and i know the enemy would love to silence.
ReplyDeleteAs a Christian woman i would not have allowed a suggestive picture like that to be displayed publicly as it does not say "modesty". Even if my husband and i were into that style of sex, somethings should be kept private for the bedroom. Now when he is ministering all people will be able to think about is that picture. It's hard to cancel out an image once its been put out for the eyes to see no matter how much you rebuke the thought.

DeleteIt's nothing wrong with the moment between him and his wife, the problem is this day in age nothing is private and everyone wants to post everything for everyone to see..in the past this pic would have been in a wedding photo album and only them and very close family members and friends will see it...people need to be careful...I wouldn't have bent my wife over like that for a picture ever, but to post it is just odd to me.

They are being paid by Churches to perform and that is what they do. He is gifted and talented.He shouldn't be leading praise and worship at any Church neither should she. They both need to be counseled and sat down. The picture is very in appropriate for anyone that process to be a Christian to post on social media. What is more disgraceful is these so called pastors speaking out in support of them Toure and Sarah Roberts . Israel Houghton LeCrae and Tye Tribbett. Chandler and Hannah felt very comfortable posting and posing because they are living a lifestyle that is unholy and ungodly and they are playing Church and laughing all the way to the bank.
