Who Doesn't Agree With This?

Image
Church I saw the above meme on my timeline.....and when I tell yall the comments from Christians beneath that post were awful. The abortion debate seems like an unresolvable conflict of rights: the right of women to have a safe, legal, accessible, abortion, and control their own bodies, the right of the fetus to be born. Can one both support women’s rights and oppose abortion? Now, if you're a regular to my blog then you already know my stance on abortion....during my childbearing years I  would've never chosen abortion for me, myself, and I.....I strongly agree that it's a woman's right to chose what's best for her family and body.....God will deal with it all at the judgment.

What Made You Leave the Church?

Image
Church four young adults who have left the church sit down for a candid conversation with Lisa Fields of the Jude 3 project to discuss why they don't go. In all honesty, I wish they had included people in their 40s 60s, and 70s to engage in this conversation. This is a good topic and it's good to see a conversation about why people leave the church. Notice it's not about people who left God but people who left the church, there's a difference.  For me, I left the church for a number of reasons, one being that I was no longer growing spiritually. It seemed like every Sunday the same milk debates popped up and I was longing for meat. I never thought a day would come that I would leave THE CHURCH building, but it did, if I'm no longer being spiritually fed then there's no reason to stay.

Church Folks Done Came On The Clubhouse App Acting A Fool😕😕

Image
Church there's a new app in town that's bound to start some mess among church folks. Clubhouse is the new invite-only audio app that is poised to be the next big thing in social media. The app works by allowing users to tap in and listen to conversations taking place in “rooms” about a variety of topics. There are rooms where you can tap in and listen from “the audience.” There is a panel that’s “on stage,” moderators are indicated by a green asterisk. The audio-only conversation aren’t recorded. You’re either there or you miss it… for now. The conversations are random on topics including investing, how to pitch a start-up or podcast, love and relationship advice, tech and other random topics. Or you could stumble up on the church folks having a conversation about other church folks, then mess can hit the fan. Check out what took place the day after Christmas with some of the church community high profile Christians.    On a newly popularized invite-only app a discussion wa

Church Announcement:

Church at least this won't be a super-spreader event. New Birth Senior Pastor Jamal Bryant asks his social media followers are they ready for a fresh start? If so let us bring in the new year together virtually with friends. The musically guest coming to celebrate with them will be Isaac Carree and Kierra Sheard.

A Pathetic Pastor Cries And Begs god To Make Trump President Again✔

Image
Church last week, a pathetic pastor by the name of Robert Henderson was caught on camera crying and begging some god to ensure that the idiot in the White House  “shall be reseated as president of the United States of America.” I'm thinking it must be the same god Paula White called upon.  Pastor Robert Henderson “petitioned the courts of heaven” to overturn the 2020 election and make the idiot president during a Livestream earlier during the week. These people talking about the idiot fulfilling prophecies. The only prophecy he fulfills is when Jesus said that he would deceive many, even the elect.   Right Wing Watch reports: Right-wing pastor Robert Henderson sobs as he begs God to ensure that Trump "shall be reseated as president of the United States of America." pic.twitter.com/3b1z3FZeiC — Right Wing Watch (@RightWingWatch) December 21, 2020

Will White Evangelicals Ever List Racism Among The Odious Evils They Must Stand Against, Like Abortion?

Image
Church abortion & racism are symbiotic evils for white evangelicals, you can not be true Christians and a racist, it's impossible. Racism is a white man's problem, they're the only ones who can fix it. That's why they have an issue with Critical Race Theory, they don't want to nor are they willing to do the work it calls for to dismantle the evil of racism. The truth of the matter they know they dang well they will never eliminate abortion which is a protected right by the constitution. The Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution provides a fundamental "right to privacy" that protects a pregnant woman's liberty to choose whether or not to have an abortion. The truth will set you free if, and only if, people seize the moment and have real conversations with each other. Truth-telling and repentance must happen before healing and restoration can be possible. Thanks, Rev.Emil Thomas for an awesome article.  https://bapt

Did Prophet Brian Carn Prophesy The Death Of Hip Hop Rapper John Fletcher, If So What Does That Mean For The Kingdom Of God?

Image
Church Prophet Brian Carn is at again, he just posted on his social media page that he prophesied on November 2, 2020, that an explosion was coming to America. And the death of a famous hip hop rapper John "Ecstasy" Fletcher from the 1980s group Whodini , would die this prophetic sign occurred on December 23, 2020. Now, I'm serious, what in the world does this have to do with ADVANCING THE KINGDOM of God? The gift, the office, the image of the prophet is being attacked like never before because of irrelevant predictions as if it is prophetically edifying to God's people. Yes, a Christmas morning explosion did happen in downtown Nashville, TN, and was considered an intentional act. Yes, a well-known rapper died, but what does any of this have to do with the Kingdom of God?

Should Senior Pastor Jamal Bryant Be Removed From The Pulpit Of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church In Stonecrest, Georgia?

Image
Church now I wasn't gonna say anything about this, but a woman is alleging she had years of sexual relationship with Pastor Jamal Bryant of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Stonecrest, Georgia. She is suggesting that he be removed from the pulpit because he’s not fit to be a spiritual leader.  Tunya Griffin, who serves as associate director of university/community partnerships at the Rochester Institute of Technology is pushing for Bryant to be removed.   Alleged former lover of Pastor Jamal Bryant speaks out after RHOP star accuses him of "egregious sexual conduct." https://t.co/2NxPedFv2g — The Christian Post (@ChristianPost) December 24, 2020  What yall think, should he be removed from the pulpit? Remember he's a single man.

Thank You Pastor Rick Warren, Coronavirus Rules Aren’t Oppressing Christians✔

Image
Church I may not agree with Rick Warren on everything, but I do on this.  Thank you for speaking up for loving our neighbors during this pandemic. Evangelical pastors in California have been fighting the state’s COVID-19 restrictions on houses of worship from the earliest months of the coronavirus pandemic. These pastors ― and the conservative law firms defending them ― have largely framed the debate as a matter of religious freedom, claiming that the government is discriminating against churches. Pastor Rick Warren, the founder of Saddleback Church, based in Orange County, appears to be taking a different approach. In an interview with the Christian publication, Relevant Magazine published Monday, the evangelical megachurch pastor and the popular author suggested that COVID-19 restrictions are about protecting parishioners’ health.   “A lot of churches are nervous about the religious freedom aspect. They don’t want to wear masks. They don’t want to meet outdoors,” Warren said. War

100 Black Pastors Send, Kelly Loeffler’s A Cease and Desist Letter, Saying Her Attacks On Raphael Warnock Sermons An ‘Attack Against the Black Church’📌

Image
Church I do understand what's going on here. White people are always shocked and appalled to learn that Black pastors occasionally preach about oppression. The reason white pastors don’t preach sermons about American oppression is simple America has never done anything (terrifying or horrifying) to white people. Anyhow some Georgia residents have labeled Republican Kelly Loeffler a radical Republican white supremacist, and ask the question why hasn’t she denounced white supremacy or radical Republican terrorism? She is herself a radical Republican ideologue.   On Saturday, a group of Black pastors... penned an open letter to Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler and her campaign in response to recent 'too radical for Georgia' attack ads against her Democratic opponent in the Georgia Senate runoff election, Rev. Raphael Warnock, and the sermons he has delivered at the historically Black Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta. (S) A group of Black pastors have have denounced Republica

So, The Allegations Against Ravi Zacharias, Was True!!

Image
Church according to the Executive Committee of the RZIM Board of Directors, the allegations against the ministry founder Ravi Zacharias are true. I remember allegations about Ravi regarding sexual misconduct before he died. So I don't understand that are saying they did not know until after he died. I used to like listening to Ravi and after that came out, I was so disgusted. One more Christian in the limelight lost their credibility and brings reproach on bearing the name Christian. Ravi Zacharias ministry confirms apologist 'did indeed engage in sexual misconduct' https://www.christianpost.com/news/rzim-confirms-apologist-engaged-in-sexual-misconduct.html Posted by The Christian Post on  Wednesday, December 23, 2020

Apostle Gregory Kelley Sr Restoration Of Life Through Jesus Christ Ministries, Is Alleged To Be A Pedophile!!

Image
Church pedophilia is one of the most devastating crimes that can be committed. Its effects can last a lifetime. Just this week I received an email from someone who still remembers her molestation at the hands of her pastor beginning at the age of 14. The heartache and pain are done in the dark, without the advantage of witnesses. The pedophile is often outgoing and charming. He pretends to have a love for children and can even profess a deep religious faith. When he is finally caught, his friends are unable to believe it. He is a pillar of the community. He may have been a beloved coach who is revered in college athletics who ran charities to help the disadvantaged. The pedophile can be married and have children who adore him because he is adept at hiding his perversity. All this brings me to the video posted below of a young woman who was groomed from the age of 14 until. I pray she finds healing for the pain she is going through. Nobody should have to go through this at all. Accordin

2020 Will Go Down As The Deadliest Year In U.S. History!

Image
Church due to poor leadership in the present administration and the stubbornness of uneducated people, we are top of the heap (or bottom) in this disease. Any one of us can admit that the idiot in the White House did a bad job handling the pandemic, but the bigger problem in my opinion is the overwhelming ignorance of the U.S. population. America portrays itself as the pinnacle of righteousness and competence in the world, and just like that, it debunked itself. Turned the whole thing into a political sideshow, instead of simply caring for one another. God forbid a deadlier virus to emerge in this country.  2020 will be the deadliest year in U.S. history, with deaths expected to top 3 million for the first time - due mainly... What's Going On At All Nations Worship Assembly?

Image
Church this a developing story, All Nations Worship Assembly is a fully functioning Five-Fold Ministry, that's the brainchild of Dr. Matthew Stevenon, seems to be going through some kind of turmoil. This pandemic is shifting a whole lot of stuff in churches. Reformation is all around us. Every organization has its seasons of restructuring... sometimes planned, sometimes not. Praying for ANWA. I'm trying to think of who black has done campus ministry models better than Dr. Matthew Stevenson? There is none. Anyhow, two of All Nations Assembly lead pastors have walked away from the brand, in the last two months.  Last month in November, it was announced that Pastor/husband/wife team Phinkea & LaBryant Friend had left the Atlanta GA location, which they had pastored since its beginning.  This week it's been announced that the Huntsville location Pastor Adrian Davis had resigned from the brand. Every church in America is going thru a major shift. Some will "survive"

So The Church Is Now Encouraging Members To Lie?

Image
Church it's being reported that John MacArthur Grace Community Church, which has defied orders banning indoor worship, is reportedly having an outbreak of COVID among its leadership & members. The cat is out of the bag now so it's a bit late for lying now. John MacArthur has been claiming GCC has suffered no COVID cases. We're finding out that's false, & in fact, it's likely the damage is far worse than what we know at this point with only a few whistleblowers coming forward. One of the church leaders says people are being pressured not to report COVID cases for fear of being shut down. I work in public health, even though not directly with patients. But if you're a member of a church who tests positive and your health department call you for contact tracing, be honest with them. They can handle the situation confidentially without mentioning who gave them the information. At John MacArthur's church, "...staff and members are being pressured n

Cartoon Network New Comic!??!?!

Image
Church the Cartoon Network and the National Black Justice Coalition have teamed up to produce a new mini-comic that aims to educate children on the subject of gender pronouns. Wouldnt it be easier to just use he/she/they? That covers anyone, but calling someone ze or it just sounds bad or insulting. I'm all for identifying as male, female or other, but I think just the addition of They/Them is easier understood and done than adding in more pronouns. That's just me! Facebook Comment : The older generations are going to have to accept that the younger generations will be more expressive than they ever were with their personalities, gender, and other things older generations felt they had to hide. It is what it is🤷🏽‍♂️. Do yall agree with the Facebook Comment? Cartoon Network uses comic strips to teach children about gender identities and their pronouns Posted by Disrn on  Thursday, December 17, 2020

Prophet Brian Carn Will Be Hosting A Super Spreader Event, With His Watch Night Service, Dec 31, 2020.

Image
Church at times I don't understand the black community. Our community is the main one being infected by this virus. We must do better to stop being ignorant of science. If you never been to a Watch Night Service at a black church, then you don't understand how pack these services can be. Most of the time it's standing room only and in the overflow area.  Yes, God has a way of protecting us from dangers seen and unseen but we have to use common sense when it comes to things like this, you got to think about saving your own life, as well as the life next to you.  Annually, African American churches look forward to Watch Night Service with much anticipation, but because of the pandemic, this year's Watch Night Services should be view with extreme caution. Prophet Brian Carn has instructed any and everyone attending KCC Charlotte Crossover New Year’s Eve Watch Night Service to wear the colors Green & Black and to wear a mask. In my opinion, this is a Super-spreader even

John Piper Says Churches Should Kick Out Members Who Marry Non-Christians📌

Image
Church John Piper catching major online flack over his latest post, in which he now says churches should kick out members who marry non-Christians. Now I will agree with others that there is no Biblical commandment to ex-communicate a believer for marrying an unbeliever, no matter how rebellious one may think said believer is. Piper is now making up his own rules as he goes. I don't believe a born again pastor would advise a believer to marry an unbeliever, but things happen. People are human beings. So now we throw them out of the church for marrying an unbeliever?  This is some twisted logic. Why don't they start ex-communicating Christians who hold racist beliefs against black Christians?   John Piper is back at it again. Thoughts? Southern Baptist Convention Has A Trumpism Problem Which Is Forcing African American Pastors To Pull Away📌

Image
Church the SBC leadership is in a fight to retain the honor of slavery defending founders and then turns a blind eye to African-American cries for genuine recognition and the crises they face as a community. I have so much respect for Pastor Charlie Dates & other pastors like him. After coming to the conclusion that Black people will never gain full equality in the Southern Baptist Convention Pastor Charlie Dates has decided to remove his church from under the denomination.  Pastor Dates leads the Progressive Baptist Church of Chicago, is a Professor at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and an author. The institution of the SBC is evil & I wish more black preachers chose their people over a check.  This is the infection of Trumpism in the Church. Since the SBC has now condemned CRT in general, but will they demolish its tenets from their institutions? If anyone has ears to hear... 'We out': Charlie Dates on why his church is leaving the SBC over rejection of critical

Word On The Street Is That Apparently They’re In The Process Of Firing Pastor Jamal Bryant From New Birth Church😕

Image
Church I wasn't going to say anything about the online chatter surrounding New Birth Senior Pastor Jamal Bryant, but it looks like there are now allegations and rumors circulating that he's about to be fired.  My question though was Pastor Bryant expected to stay hush mouthed and quiver after the Housewives of  Potomac reality show reunion foolishness? I think not! In my opinion, his response was too petty for a pastor to be involved with, especially and so unnecessary. He should have never involved his self with the show especially if they have been divorced for over 10 years. One thing I can and will say about most Baptist churches they don’t play about their representation. I bet he knows this now.  Also, in my opinion, the video he uploaded to social media was deplorable and he should have known better and he will pay for it because it was not becoming of a pastor, nor was it God-like. Pastor Jamal Bryant has humbly asked that this be shared with everyone in our "sph

Dr. Juanita Bynum, Farewell Tribute To Bishop Iona Locke😢

Image
C hurch when someone loses a loved one we want to find a way to comfort them and pay our respects. A really good way to do this is by praying – specifically in this case with sympathy prayers. Prayer helps us to express our love and understanding for others, to empathize with what they are going through, and to wish them the strength during such a difficult time. A prayer is an act of love towards others, as well as being something that can bring together people – which is essential during a time of loss. Today Bishop Iona Locke transitions from time unto eternity, where time no longer matters, there are a lot of prayers and sympathy going up for the Locke family. Dr. Juanita Bynum being the powerhouse who she is took to her social media page and did an awesome tribute and acknowledgment of gratitude, respect, admiration, and salute to the awesome woman of God, Bishop Iona Locke. Bishop Iona Locke was no stranger to this blog she was held in high esteem on this blog. ( you can rea

Another Christian Persecuted In The name Of The “pandemic” Lauren Daigle?!?!

Image
Church some of Christian Artist Lauren Daigle's followers are claiming Christian Persecution after New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell sent a letter to Dick Clark Productions asking that Daigle be dropped from "New Year's Rockin' Eve" and she was. Mayor Cantrell detail in a video that Daigle sang at a pop-up worship service in NOLA's French Quarter complaining about churches being closed during the pandemic last month. In my opinion, Lauren may not have set it up, but she knew all about restrictions and needing to be masked up. She knew better. Should Prisoners Received COVID 19 Vaccination?

Image
Church this is a good piece written by Aaron L Griffith for Christianity Today (you can read it here) . Advocating for prisoner vaccinations is a political issue, but it doesn’t have to be a partisan one. As states begin to roll out their plans for COVID-19 vaccination, the limited number of doses has prompted tough public conversations about how to prioritize vulnerable populations. Most states agree that health care workers, nursing home residents, and people with high-risk comorbidities should be at the top of the list. But another vulnerable population has proved more controversial: incarcerated people. I'm grateful for those who are using their faith to advocate for social justice for those who are incarcerated. The incarcerated are one of the most vulnerable populations in the US. Treat them like any other person at risk. Prison inmates and staff don't have space or ventilation to avoid getting and spreading COVID19. Staff may bring the virus home to their families. Off

Did Cancel Culture Start In The Church?

Image
Church nowadays you’re immediately canceled if you do something wrong publicly, but where did this start? Some are saying that cancel culture originated in the church and the effects of shaming others in the name of the Gospel. Everyone has their feelings about cancel culture, which is defined by Dictionary.com as the “practice of withdrawing support for (canceling) public figures and companies after they have done or said something considered objectionable or offensive.” In a recent episode of “The Same Room,” hosted by Stephanie Ike and “The Shade Room” founder Angelica Nwandu, featuring Erica Campbell and Meagan Good, Campbell discussed the idea that cancels culture originated in the church.   “Cancel culture actually started in the church,” said Ike. “When you look at women, if you had a teen pregnancy, canceled. If you had a child out of wedlock, canceled. If you wore something people didn’t agree with, canceled. And that, to me, is crazy because this should be the place that is

Should Black Pastors Be Encouraging Their Congregation To Take The COVID 19 Vaccine😕

Image
Church on Tuesday, some black pastors spoke specifically of the need for the Black church to speak to its members about the COVID-19 vaccine. Some mentioned doubts rooted in racism in the United States' history of medicine. Some raised concerns about access for parishioners without regular medical care. One pastor said he hadn't made up his mind whether to take the vaccine himself. (Yall Can Read About It Here)

Get Out Of Here, Trump Will Go Down In History As One Of The Great Presidents Of Our Nation,' Says Bigot Franklin Graham📌

Image
Church, in my opinion, the idiot in the White House is the worst president that has ever sit in that White House and will go down in history as one of the worst presidents of our nation, the idiot is responsible for the death of over 300,000 Americans. If Billy Graham was alive, he’d be ashamed of Franklin standing next to a dictator, who separates innocent children from their parents, who caused a division in our great country, and someone who is not a Christian! Franklin Graham is nowhere near where his father was; he did not receive his father's mantle. He has received his father's platform, through inheritance, but not his mantle, that is why he has no discernment. A Nativity Scene With A Different Message📌

Image
Church a Nativity scene at Claremont United Methodist Church shows a crowd of people holding signs reading, "I can't breathe" and "Black Lives Matter" behind statues of Mary, Joseph, and Jesus. The church has made a Christmas tradition of erecting Nativity scenes tied to the issues of the day. Last year the church used their nativity scene to highlight families separated at the border. This year the church is using their nativity scene to honor the Black Lives Matter protests.

Get Out Of Here, Pastor Requests Compassionate Release From Federal Prison😕

Church a Toledo pastor sentenced to life in federal prison for leading a child-sex trafficking ring with two other pastors is asking for compassionate release during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. (You Can Read About It Here ) Anthony Haynes, 41, the former leader of the Greater Life Christian Center, was sentenced to life in prison after a federal jury found him guilty of grooming a girl who was then 14 years old to have sex with him and then-pastors Cordell Jenkins and Kenneth Butler.

Pastor Dwight McKissic, Senior Pastor Of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Response To The SBC Seminary Presidents’ CRT Statement📌

Image
Thanks to Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church Dwight McKissic for being very clear about CRT and how many black pastors might view it. Pastor Dwight McKissic church is apart of the SBC denomination.  The generalizations and assumptions that are online are sickening, to say the least....many black pastors who are apart of SBC say that they were deeply offended by the subtle implications of the Seminary Presidents’ CRT statement. Some feel that it was unnecessary and not well thought out. Whoever they were talking to, they just could have sent them an email, without offending an entire ethnic group. “Do Black pastors oppose the seminary presidents’ statement because we are advocates and proponents of Critical Race Theory (CRT)? Absolutely not! Black pastors do not preach CRT; we preach C-H-R-I-S-T. Black pastors do not preach Karl Marx; we preach from the gospel of Mark.” From Boys to Men: My Response to the SBC Seminary Presidents’ CRT Statement by William Dwight McKissic, Sr.

Jesus Take The Wheel, Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church Took $4.4M PPP loan😕

Image
Church this is not surprising at all that Lakewood Church, the largest single-site megachurch in the United States, received a Paycheck Protection Program of approximately $4.44 million in late July, according to federal data. Lakewood's PPP loan was originated by Bank of America, according to the U.S. Small Business Administration data, which was released on Dec. 1. The megachurch's $4.4 million forgivable loans was the third-largest PPP loan approved for a Houston-area entity during all of July and August. Lakewood Church, which welcomed up to 50,000 weekly visitors as of 2018, is led by famed pastor Joel Osteen, who had a net worth of approximately $60 million in 2017, according to media reports. Like scores of for-profit companies, nonprofits, including religious institutions, have been financially impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. In-person worship services at Lakewood were halted during the early months of the pandemic. In-person services resumed in mid-October, bu
