Church join Bishop Carlton Pearson this Friday, May 8 at 8:30pm CST for another hour-long AZUSA Special “Reminding the Saints of the Hope”. He will be continuing his walk down memory lane, and recapturing the transcendent moments and divine manipulations of our soul in old fashion Pentecostalism. There is a sound and spiritual syncopation in this type of music that helps people in the throws of pain, disappointment, or suspense. To those who relate, it’s like soul therapy. There is a repetitive chant of spirit and mind that pulls us into a mystical cadence many find refreshing, soothing, and strengthening of spirit, mind, and body. We will all survive, revive, arrive, and thrive anew as we traverse this special journey we’re all forced to take. Let’s do so together and finish strong together!!!

  1. According to the Bible, when we do music, we are to make melody (simple tune) within our hearts. When our music involves syncopation and a lot of chanting... BEWARE!

    2. Thank you Anonymous. Been preaching these verses here for years. That word lands on stony ground here. Be blessed.

    3. So our music is supposed to have no syncopation or something???

      Delete
    4. No syncopation. The Bible says making melody in your hearts. The melody is the emphasis of our songs. Our songs are spiritual songs. They do not appeal to the flesh, where rhythm and syncopation are main ingredients.

  2. Isn't it ironic and hypocritical how Pearson has to constantly go back to something that he has criticized and left and was merely "acting" (his words) all those many years? His newfound beliefs are not Pentecostal nor even God-based. Evidently he has not been able to pull in enough followers of his own warped demonic beliefs, so he has to constantly refer back to Azusa. What a little wicked chump he is! And our usual emotional melancholy saints, who yearn for the old Pearson, will not hesitate to beckon to his call! Shame on these artists and pastors as well who team up with him. Proves where their hearts and testimonies really are!

    1. And Pearson knows he can get away with it because people are drawn to the SOUND, the NOISE and the CHANTS. They don't care the man believes HELL is not a REAL place.

They are ATTRACTED by the NOISE and the SOUND.

Remember Moses coming down from the mountaian and Joshua witnessing the Israelites SINGING as they worshipped the GOLDEN CALF saying-

"...he said unto Moses, There is a NOISE of war in the camp. And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the NOISE of them that sing do I hear."

    2. And just to think Carlton said he was faking the whole time. Amazing.

    3. Make me wonder now if the others here are "FAKING".

    4. Yep. As a keyboardist/musician only for Jesus... if either of these jokers came to me and offered me $1500 for 2 songs. I would tell them to hit the road jack because I wouldn't be anywhere near this mess, especially knowing what has been spewed out of the mouth of Carlton.

    5. That's right Timezone. Go Ahead! I'm sure you have seen a lot. I haven't been around none of them, but the WORD of God heighten my senses so that I can smell the funk from miles away.

    6. I was trying to figure out knowing what this man beliefs are and not trying to be judgmental but how can these folks could even sign up for this???Idc if it’s a concert.. if you are a heretic I will not be involved in anything you do....

  3. Im almost 100% sure NONE of the people on the flyer will be “somewhere” in person. Its probably just videos of each of the artist shown when they came to the long forgotten Azusa Street recordings AND Pearson has the right to use their image since all of these people signed a waiver (and got paid) to sing on these albums of yesteryear.

    1. Better not be in person, especially since BeeBee had the virus. Don't be surprised in the future when they can physically gather someome would ask to see his innoculation records proving he had taken the shot. MADNESS. SIMPLY MADNESS!!!

    2. @Christian Pentecoastal, I believe that you are right on this one. I figured that this was some past videos from some of the Asuza conferences. I give these artists the benefit of a doubt. They are not fooling with Pearson since he is into that inclusion mess.

    3. Don't be so sure about that, MAMA. I wouldn't give any of them the benefit of a doubt. But I am open to your suggestion!

    4. Also, didn't Marvin and their mother have the virus, too?

      Delete
    5. Well Anonymous, you are entitled to your opinion...like I am entitled to mine.

  4. This is a sad shame, I pray the surrounding artist are not in agreement with this and make a public statement on FB to the same. Sorry to say, but CP, per his own words, renounced Christ and is reprobate. He's looking for validation from these beloved Kingdom Artist. If they don't personally renounce this publicly, they are doing a disservice to all they sing about and much greater than that, a grave dishonor to God. I weep, has the Christian Church lost their minds? Will we do anything to be seen and gather more followers on Facebook? This is why the virus is in the land, the Church shut down and it's conferences as, this display of an agreement with the satanic agenda shows it's weakness and powerlessness. How can two walk together accept they agree? Lord have mercy I pray. These are the lasts days for real and some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to the seducing spirits and doctrine of demons.

    1. The reason these artists are going along with Pearson is because they posess the same spirit. They walk together because they agree that it doesn't matter what you believe. As long as God bless you with the gift and his annointing, he can use them. No need to get upset. The wheat and the tare will tarry together. In the end, God will do the separating. I can't wait to see them weeping and gnashing. I CAN'T WAIT!!!

  5. You are correct Carlton Pearson is featuring artists from his past conferences. I watched last week's Azusa Revisted and enjoyed the artists he featured. He speaks between the songs and offers information about being calm and hopeful. He said gave a heads up about who would be featured this evening and said he plans to do this for a few weeks.

As far as Pearson saying he was faking during his time in classical pentecostalism, I have never heard that and will try to find the quote/audio. Faking is not the narrative he gave last week. He told how precious his time in classical pentecostalism was and various times, he seemed genuinely moved as he relived the services and gave information on how things came together.

    1. Yes, he DEFINITELY said that and now I guess he thinks many have forgotten his statements.

  6. Wow. As a Body of Christ, we are at the point where you can't trust any of the mainstream gospel artist and "pastors" anymore. Seems it's all about money and image. Notice how this is set up to bring "calm" and "peace" to the listeners. The satanic and seducing spirits is slowly pulling them all in!!! Watch and pray and continually read scriptures saints so you can discern the tricks of the enemy!!!

  7. These are old videos of services that the gospel artists sang at. Carlton Pearson tells what year the service(s) took place. Tonight's episode starts with the Azusa 1994 in ATL at Cathedral of the Holy Spirit. The singing is rich and touching. I believe you would be enriched by watching it.

The artist have to eat and pay their bills just like you, me and everybody else. I'm not suggesting the artist align with someone whose theology is different than theirs. That is not what is happening here.

  8. Hey, I thought this was the same Bishop Pearson who said that there's no Hell and that all is going to Heaven. I remember a number of high profile people in the Christian community denounced him. I would have thought the featured guest would have wanted nothing to do with him at one point. Did I miss something?

    1. @J.P. Yes, you missed something. Apparently you did not read Ms. Ann's post or any of the comments. In two places it plainly says "this is a walk down memory lane." These are videos of previous Azusa services that have been digitally re-mastered.
