According To Bishop Patrick Wooden Out Of Raleigh, NC, This Is How The Church Became Non-essential😕😕

Church what do yall think about this? Bishop Patrick Wooden out of Raleigh, NC says that the church made itself NON ESSENTIAL. Are we the reason why the church is non-essential? I’m not a fan of the strobe lights and smoke machines in churches, but can someone please explain to me how ripped jeans will keep someone from hearing well done, thou good and faithful servant? It sounds like he’s more concerned with the look of the "church" rather the effectiveness of it. Focusing on clothes and backdrops is not holiness. The hearts of the people and the leaders have been corrupt. Preachers and Bishops like him have made themselves non-essential by being abusive, manipulative, sneaky, liars, and cheaters and they want people to respect them when they have no standard. The standard of holiness has nothing to do with how you dress. I’ve seen some preachers and bishops who dressed “holy” and are some of the biggest pimps and whores out there!

  1. The man is implying the truth that says -

"Ye are the salt of the earth, but if the salt have lost its savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing. But to be cast out and to be trodden under the foot of men."

"If a man lie with mankind as he lie with womankind, both have committed an abomination."

"In like manner also, the womwn adorn themselves in modest apparel."

"And be ye not conformed to this works, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind".

    AMEN!!!

  2. Agree. Bishop Wooden is not addressing what we wear per say. He is using it as an example of how conformed and lax we have come to be with regards to the things of God. I for one cannot disagree with that. In our fervor to attract "the world" we have conformed to it.

  3. I was thinking it may have something to do more with church tradition in the "Bible Belt" region of the Southern US than God's Word.

  4. I agree with his overall point that the church has made itself nonessential by trying to be like the world.

  5. He is right. God gave His best, the least we can do is to look our best. We are to influence the world, not let the world influence the church.

    1. I agree with you here. Yep... there's a lot of good things to be said about "come as you are" (re; dress) but there are the negatives too. I was taught (and believe) that we are to come to God with, and at, out best. That includes presentation too. It is this attitude that teaches one to always try to be and give your best in everything that you do. Just look at the Black Muslims. What is the first thing that is very noticeable about them? Their dress! How professional and well-groomed the men and women are. How they present themselves.

IMHO, we have lost the reverence for God and the church, There was a time that even the hardened of hardened criminal would never think to commit any type of crime against the church and church people. But, now? To me, with this prosperity gospel, too many of us have lost our focus of what the church and God is all about. Church has become an entertainment center for many. It's about television, big screens, singing contests, etc. It's about the clothing and labels, the cars that one is driving, and always the raising of money to buy and do these things. Where is God and the church in all of that? What has happened is that we have allowed the money changers back into the church and therefore many no longer look at the church with reverence because we're more consumed by the "entertainment" and "things."

  6. The church is on the non essential list because we stopping coming thirsty for God. There's no hunger for righteousness hence the world deems the church not needed. We did that!

  7. The bishop (small "b") is right. The church (so-called) has made itself non-essential. Revival and renewal is on the horizon. It's time for the house to be cleansed.

  8. Bishop Blake is not only hearing about Peoples dying he is also looking at the News. Bishop knows more than anyone else know. Bishop is not demanding that other do anything,he is just warning us to be on our Best regards.

  9. Satan is really amazed at how often people are fools here and can never give him credit for how well he is doing destroying and dividing churches and their believers. That is what he does with the devils who are treated here like they are nonexistent.Monday, 04 May, 2020

    Its true.

  10. I agree with him! We the church are suppose to be peculiar people! We act just like the world! I'm not talking about clothes, but our lifestyle! No repentance, accountability or fear of God anymore!

  11. Demons of worldliness have infected Christians but someone here does not see that. Just as He talks about the demons of adultery and the sin they cause like it is a thought crime. Its a sin that happens through action not by thinking.Saturday, 09 May, 2020

    This is the truth.
