So it has been brought to my attention, that the leader of the church of the highlands is an avid Trump supporter and supports conservative groups that deny racial disparity. Chris Hodges, the pastor of one of the largest churches in the United States, the Church of the Highlands, was recently caught by members liking white supremacist posts on Instagram. In all honesty, I would never join a “white church” or be comfortable with a white pastor. This news about the Church of the Highlands just seals that for me. Jow in the world can any person of color sit in a church Sunday after Sunday knowing that the pastor hates you because of your skin color.   MOST (not all—but an overwhelming majority) of the white pastors who’ve attracted and benefited from black members have slowly but surely shown their true colors empowered by their support of DONALD TRUMP. I have no respect for any person, no matter their color, that explicitly or implicitly supports the bigotry of evangelicalism,

Church I'm saying it once again racism is white America problem. The police work for white people and they know it. White people know it too. Deep down, white people know exactly whom the police are supposed to “protect and serve,” and they dang well know it’s not black and brown people. For as long as I live I will never forget the little lady Jane Elliott and how she tried to open white America’s eyes to racism on the Oprah Show. Church the below Facebook post is from a concerned sister wanting to know why so many pastors have gone ghost on the injustice that is taking place in our country right now. Where are all the big name, popular, black, and white preachers that we love so much?! They are missing in action! Ain't nobody said nothing concerning the protests, rioting, and looting in MN! First Baptist Church of North, S.C., announced they will be closed for the next month due to about 40 (Forty) people at this past Sunday's in-house service being exposed to someone who tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.   The Pastor sated everyone who attended his church this past Sunday needs to QUARANTINE and get a Covid-19 test done. South Carolina Covid-19 Cases hit 10,416 and death toll reaches 446.

Church high five and kudos to Pastor YPJ, can we get a few more pastors to feel his rage then mobilize to action? The Black church has ALWAYS been the catalyst to fight injustices. Nothing wrong with reaching across the aisle but when they only reach back in peaceful time and act deaf and blind during times like this. Church social media has been dragging Pastor Michael Todd every since one of his latest sermon clips made its way online. Pastor Michael along with his wife Natalie, has been the Lead Pastors of Transformation Church based in Tulsa, OK since February 2015. They were entrusted with Transformation Church by the founding Pastor, Gary McIntosh after 15 years of operation. Their personal philosophy and driving passion is representing God to the lost and found for transformation in Christ. Church I saw the video this morning and it breaks my heart. While some are suggesting that all the ones who were recording and encouraging him to swim should be charged with murder, which I don't agree with.  You can hear them in the video saying if he starts to drowned they would save him and nobody even attempted to. The video footage capturing the horrifying incident has gone viral on social media. What do yall think should the onlookers be charged with murder?

Church I don't know about this.( You can read about it here ) I wonder how this will impact other cases? Like if someone had a child support case and they didn’t want to pay, could they use the precedent of this case to say they absolved paternity if they requested the mother have an abortion? For me the judge, in this particular case, seems to be going off of emotions rather than the law. Should it matter if the biological father offered to pay for an abortion? I'm quite sure he's not the only one who has ever done this. There are many biological fathers and some mothers who wanted their children aborted initially. And then, later on, they form a bond with said child. Many women consider abortion as well but then go on to have babies. Should they have their rights ended as well?

On this Memorial Day let us remember all those who have fallen in service to our country. We must not forget the sacrifice of the families who love and miss them. Thank you for your service and sacrifice.

Church sexual infidelity is often considered the ultimate betrayal in a marriage.  It disrupts ongoing, meaningful relationships. But when a heterosexual couple experiences infidelity and the offense is committed with someone of the same sex, it's a whole nother story. Church as the Death toll rises in the United States due to the Coronavirus Pandemic; yall president is off playing Golf this morning. Utterly disrespectful to the lives lost. Yet he encourages Governors to OPEN Houses of Worship. Of course we knew he would NOT be sitting in any pew himself. Sad...sad commentary. In Michael J's voice "THEY don't really care about us." As US Covid-19 death toll nears 100,000. Anyhow, The New York Times unveiled an astonishing cover for Sunday’s paper, featuring the names of 1,000 victims of Covid-19. “Instead of the articles, photographs or graphics that normally appear on the front page of The New York Times, on Sunday, there is just a list: a long, solemn list of people whose lives were lost to the coronavirus pandemic,” The Times announced in a piece explaining the cover on Saturday.

Church thankful for the wisdom and leadership of the Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake and the General Board of Church of God In Christ in these matters. To open prematurely is not only unnecessary, but it also puts so many COGIC members and the surrounding communities at risk. Please pass this around widely, if nothing else to bear witness that White Evangelicals are altogether different than Black Pentecostals in our orientation to this pandemic, and our care for our churches and our surrounding communities.

The Barna Group reports: 48% of churchgoers say they have not watched any church online in the last four weeks. Only 40% of churchgoers report watching their regular home church online. 23% said they streamed a different church (either in place of their regular church or in addition to their regular church). This is concerning. Just like in-person Church attendance, if we do not make a diligent effort, it is easy to casually fade away.

Church this has NOTHING to do with FAITH. The biggest crook and sinner on the planet, the guy who caged children, wants us to believe that he cares about churches being opened. Right. Church I found the above flyer on my timeline, it got me to thinking that maybe it's a strong possibility the church can be sued for exposing it parishioners to COVID-19. The Church of God in Christ, the country’s biggest African American Pentecostal denomination, has taken a deep and painful leadership hit with reports of at least a dozen to up to 30 bishops and prominent clergy dying of COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus. The question that's being put forth now is can the COGIC organization be sued for these deaths?

  Church is it wrong for Christian to question the very foundation of "OUR" faith? Some say it is and if we as Christians are going to stop believing that Jesus is the ONLY way to Salvation, then we may as well just quit.  So, is Rev. Church this is the definition of greatness and kindness.  And of course somebody is going to criticize what he is doing, but at least he is creating an opportunity for those who had been shut out of the Federal PPP.  Hall of Famer Magic Johnson is bringing the magic to some of the hardest-hit communities with some much-needed help. His company Equitrust and MBE Capital are donating $100 million in PPP loans to minority-owned businesses. Mr. Johnson made that announcement Tuesday that the company for which he owns a majority will be doing the good deed.  EquiTrust Life Insurance Co., of which Johnson has held a majority stake since 2015, is taking aim at helping the business owners hit hard economically by the coronavirus pandemic.

Church do not put the Lord God to the test. So tragic. So incredible. A Cameroon pastor who laid his hands on many of his followers to “cure” them of Covid-19, has died from the virus.  On Saturday, according to Voice of America, police had to force their way into his home in Douala to gain access as his followers had blocked the entrances, praying for his resurrection. The pastor had been a candidate in the central African country’s previous presidential election. Speaking to the publication, Doctor Gaelle Nnanga said the pastor died less than a week after being diagnosed with the coronavirus. Dr. Nnanga said members of Ndifor’s Kingship International Ministries Church had called him to help the pastor when they found out their leader was in agony. When the medical team he leads arrived, Ndifor was having severe respiratory difficulties. He died less than 10 minutes after they started treating him.

Church it looks like Addison Canidy will not be taking the next step in his young life as he was expecting to as in becoming the nest senior pastor of Changing A Generation Full Gospel Baptist Church, Atlanta GA.  Bishop Pauls S. Morton announced yesterday via social media that he's staying put as senior pastor of Changing A Generation Full Gospel Baptist Church, Canidy was slated to take the baton from the congregation's founder, Bishop Paul S. Morton at the end of July 2020.

Church this morning Apologist Ravi Zacharias transition from time unto eternity, where time no longer matters, following a brief battle with sarcoma. He was 74. Church this past Sunday, May 17, 2020, Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ, Pastor Otis Moss III delivered an awesome sermonic movie for a time such as this. Pastor Moss used his creativity in film to address racism and honor Ahmaud Arbery. The sermon delivered by Pastor Moss was preached movie-style, preaching a requiem for Ahmaud Arbery.   "A young man just shy of his 26th birthday stepped out into the sun and ran for the final time upon this earth." Powerful message!!

Church over 180 people was exposed to COVID-19 in Butte County after a church service was held on Mother's Day, according to health officials. Butte County Public Health said in a news release on Friday the infected person received their positive COVID-19 diagnosis the day after they attended service and is now at home in isolation. The church PBFC, also known as Palermo Bible Family Church, chose to open its doors despite rules banning gatherings of any size. Since the positive test was announced by health officials, the church has decided to suspend all in-person services and go back to a virtual model.

Church....this ain't it. I understand that there are cover-ups all the time. I get that we do not understand a lot about this virus. But to say that it didn't happen how we think it happened without proof to back it up, is not the way to go. Anyhow, Prophetess Tiphani Montgomery set off a firestorm on social media last night with the below post. Some are saying this kind of thinking is why many African Americans are contracting this virus at a disproportionate rate to others. And it's dangerous thinking that can lead to the death of many. I haven't lost anyone to COVID-19, but I don't think this thing is a “hoax” like some are saying. I’m praying that her followers don’t put themselves or their older family in harm's way because of statements like this.

First off, I’m not an attorney but it sounds like they put their non-profits, including Pinky Promise, under their church Gathering Oasis to avoid paying taxes.  The audio is in the link above. They were silent on IG for 2 days and now Heather is posting like nothing happened. Comments are limited on their church's page. 🥴 Heather and Cornelius Lindsey had a week from the open letter being sent out, to take action on the items seriously. They did not. Like Pharaoh in Exodus 6:28-14, God only extends His mercy but so many times before He brings down His fierce hand of justice.

Visitors to the YouTube upload of Piper reading the audio version of the book are now met with a black screen.

Churchgoers from across the state gathered in downtown Raleigh Thursday to rally against Gov. Roy Cooper's stay-at-home order and demand the right to hold services inside their buildings. The group leading the charge, Return America, is led by pastors and Christian educators. During the rally, the group announced that they had filed a lawsuit against Cooper over not allowing indoor assemblies at churches. I'm so disappointed in the Church. We are not limited by a building to do the work of the kingdom. The early church managed to get 1000s saved with one temple and many house churches. They affected systems. They got persecuted and kept growing daily. We panic cause we can't get in a building on Sunday. 

Church a Jacksonville, North Carolina pastor has been charged with Felony Bigamy, according to police warrants. Pastor Michael Claiborne, 52, of Jacksonville is accused of marrying Pastor Lisa Claiborne, of New Rivers Ministries in Hubert, North Carolina while being married to another woman, Andrea Delyce Harris.

Church an online Bible class run by Saint Paulus Lutheran Church one San Francisco’s oldest churches turned sour when it started showing porn—and now the church is suing Zoom, where the meeting was being hosted. According to the complaint, Zoom's "utter failure in providing security" for its users resulted in a serial offender known to authorities hacking into the meeting and begin displaying obscene footage of "adults performing sexual acts with each other and on infants and on young children."

Church a Detroit pastor and his son have died of COVID-19 within just days of each other. Rev. Nathaniel Slappey Sr. died on April 30 after serving in ministry for 50 years. His oldest son, Nathaniel Slappey Jr., died a few days later on May 2. The Detroit Free Press reports that both were dealing with complications from COVID-19 at Henry Ford Hospital in West Bloomfield. Josephine Slappey—along with her remaining four children, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren—never thought she would bury her husband and a son on the same day.

Church this beautiful young woman here is Breonna Taylor. She was a 26-year-old EMT who worked at two separate hospitals. On the night of March 13, 2020, Breonna was asleep at her boyfriend, Kenneth Walker’s apartment when Louisville Metro Police Department busted into his apartment unannounced on a botched drug bust. Neighbors have said that they did not hear the police announce themselves before breaking in. The police came in and shot the apartment with 22 bullets with many going into other apartments. Breonna was shot 8 times and she died that night. Her boyfriend, Kenneth was shot in the leg, but he grabbed his gun and shot back and hit an officer (not fatally). The craziest part about this is that the Louisville police department had already arrested the person that they set up the raid for a few hours earlier. You want to know what is even crazier? Church what yall think about this idea? As churches begin to reopen throughout the country, faith leaders want assurance they won't be sued if a congregant contracts COVID-19. Roughly 300 religious leaders, including the bigot Franklin Graham, have signed a letter sent to Congress on Tuesday requesting that the next relief package include legal immunity for religious organizations reopening during the pandemic. In other words, they do not want to be held accountable for people getting the virus from attending a church service.

Church God help us, this is the "spiritual advisor" to the idiot in the White House.  Apart from the laughing at the gibberish and the embarrassing posturing, it's probably worth remembering that the " waggle dance " is performed not by the queen but by the (female) worker bees to inform their co-workers where they have found sources of food. Church my dad used to have a saying, "Give me my flowers while I'm alive." He said this because he notices that some of the most beautiful flowers are displayed at funerals. With that been said this brings me to today's post, this was an awesome gesture by once atheist, now  Christian recording artist Lecrae who credits Ravi Zacharias, a beloved apologist, and preacher, with the resources to answer "hard questions." “What in the world ties a black kid from hip hop culture to a scholar from Delhi, India?” In a Facebook post published Monday night, the rapper asked this question. Lecrae revealed that he would always end his concerts and go back to his tour bus, where he would spend hours poring over videos and lectures from Zacharias.
