Joyce Meyers Followers Are Upset With Her😞😞

Church I found the above picture on someone's Facebook page that I followed and decided to post it here. Check out the post below and tell me what yall think:

"Joyce, I am so disappointed in you that you would use the money from the ministry that people send to your ministry and use that money for your face because you don't want to look old. To get plastic surgery for your face. I've seen you on Fox and Friends one day and I couldn't even recognize you I'm disappointed.   God did not give the ministry to you to take advantage of the money. You should be ashamed of yourself being irresponsible. think about the story in the Bible where Jesus got really mad the way they were using God's Temple for gambling. Do you remember how mad he got? So think about how you're using that money the same thing as the people using the synagogue for gambling for their own gain. they use the temple for the wrong reasons as you use the money for the wrong reasons and for self-gain."

    3. Joyce is a spirit filled wonderful teacher. I do not believe she would ever use ministry money fur any personal purpose. She is an excellent author and has written over 100 books, which have sold well. She doesn't need to use ministry money for anything other than God's work, she has worked hard for everything she has, and, sounds like her husband is an excellent money manager. If you know Jesus, and you have a concern about anyone, you should be praying for them instead of picking them apart. The way she wants to look is her business, no one else's.

    4. I believe joyce is so anointed from our dear Lord . everyone of us receives a salary for their work and why would we think she does not . shes not using money for Gods work, that's hers to do what she wants . I love her and I understand her desire to stay fresh on the outside as she is on the inside . that's between her and her Lord . not our place to be upset or to judge her . least we will be judged . joyce dedicates most of the year to travel and share Gods word so we have a better understanding of it and move forward in our faith in our walk so let her feel free to do what she wants in her personal life .

    7. I also dont think it's right to assume someone is using ministry money for personal things. I also dont think its anyone's place to judge someone's appearance. I think someone's physical characteristics are irrelevant and none of our business. Also before we pluck the splinter out of someone's eye we should first get the log out of our own. We speak life or death, blessing or cursing over one another. What will you speak??

    9. It has nothing to do with all of this sanctimonious mumbo jumbo - Joyce Meyer betrayed God by altering the physical beauty that he anointed her with for her own personal vanity. She is saying to God that she is not pleased with the image he gave her. She looks hideous. If she was going to turn against God, she certainly could afford a top notch plastic surgeon. She has altered, disgraced and degraded her appearance. Difficult to even watch her.

    13. What PROOF is there she used ministry money. Also even if she did use " ministry money" the money that the church gives her for speaking a portion of that is specifically for her. other parts go to paying her support staff and other expenses. If she has staff that go out and throw a super bowl party and buy food with their hard earned money are they wasting ministry money?

By the logic used in some of these comments any one of you who go out and buy a bag of chips and a pop are wasting ministry money also.

    15. She's she's a freakshow, yes, but for Christians the challenge is to look beyond the results of how she's deformed her face in the name of vanity and to hear the message. That's what's important. In the same way God presents other prosperity preachers to show us the corrupting evil of worshipping money, He has sent us Joyce to show just how far from the bible these charlatans stray in their quest to acquire more and more earthly gains - and how the ugliness of greed will eventually be reflected in their faces. So treat our sister Joyce with pity and compassion, not scorn, and use your faith to see into the hypocrisy of her rhetoric... to admire her ability to use words to cajole, justify and milk more money from her followers. She is God's gift to us, a cautionary tale that guides our own attitude to materialism and how NOT to live our lives if we seek redemption.

    16. Joyce Myers works for the public. In the ministry, when donations are your sole salary, you devide it up. Part of it goes toward travel, some for living necessities like your home, food, clothing, ect. What she does with her personal salary is HER business. One thing I've learned about "Church people," they can be so judgemental. Like they're looking for something wrong in someone who is in the ministry. Jealousy is the main reason, I think. Joyce Myers is NOT God. She is a human being. If she feels better about herself to try and look better as she ages then it's HER business. As far as her being able to afford a better plastic surgeon, just look at some of the celebrities who had work done. You never know how it's going to work on you. Leave her alone. She is never going to live her life and make all the best decisions. She is only human. I am thankful for the Word of God that she brings us and that is my only concern regarding Miss Myers. It should be your only concern too. If its not, then pray God helps you not to think you can decide what others should do with their lives. Deal with your own life.

But it does bring up a deeper question. What exactly IS the definition of a Christian today? I think to be a Christian today means something completely different than I was taught it did in the past, and also different from what I understand it to mean from reading "Christ's words in red" from the Bible directly. 4. Most of you are speaking ignorantly. As a Pastor and Minister your whole life is given to the ministry and self is put on the back burner for years. The heartbreak, suffering and daily sacrifice is like no other profession. After the impact her ministry has made to help others, she deserves happiness also. Most people that complain about money in ministry give none. No one complains about athletes, entertainers or any other profession making a living from their gifts and talent. Will not the God of the universe bless his own? I say for sure he will and if she wants a facelift more power to her and I agree, that's her business.

    2. Pastor, I don't think anyone is questioning how someone's spending their money. The issue here is whether the pastor/leader is using those proceeds to enrich his lifestyle at the expense of church members and the community. If a pastor is driving around in Rolls Royce while his ministry is not pouring back to the community in terms of feeding the homeless or providing financial assistance to poor people then that's a problem. We often forget that Jesus was more than just preaching the gospel. He met the needs of the people too. Unfortunately, that gets lost with today's modern preachers.

I dont care for the look myself , but it is her choice . how she sees herself is differant how we see her . it is not to be angered about it , her words are based on Gods scripture . anyone who calls her false profit, does not read their bible or is not lead to understand it by the Holy Spirit . she is spot on and very blessed in her delivery. she makes it real by comparing it to REAL LIFE . she has shared her terrible nightmares of her child hood . I think God would want us to back off with nasty judgements and turn it towards ourselves . look in the mirror please and ask God where do I fall short . stop throwing stones when WE ALL live in glass houses . in the end we will ALL be judged and one of the things Jesus tells us in mathew IS TO BE WARE IF JUDGING OTHERS LEST WE BE JUDGED MORE HARSHLY. Secondly, to accuse someone of something you know nothing about is ungodly. Prove Joyce used money from the church, or stop spreading rumors and gossip. Whether she used her own earnings, investments, or her husband's money is none of your business and she should spend her money however she likes (just like you do).

Ann Bock is spreading gossip about Joyce for no other reason than to bring attention to herself so she can feel important in her own eyes and those around her. Focus instead on serving and loving others, I believe this is more pleasing to the Lord and in keeping with His desires.

  15. Why are you people in denial. The truth will never become a lie and a lie will never become truth. Yes she used church money to support her lifestyle. Just because you like someone doesn't mean you deny what is obvious true. Especially since God said no liar will stand before him. Common sense use it. Tithes, offerings, book sales and sacrificial gifts. These ministers are not working 9-5 jobs, thus living off the free will giving of members. We all are aging and it take some longer than others to stop living from the outside in. The flesh is rottening away and there is no lipstick, makeup, or surgery that will stop the inevitable. To me this shows a woman who is trying to old on her younger self and putting all her attention on self the outward man destroying the beauty of aging to look like the pervert version of a worn out female Joker. Sadness....

  19. I absolutely love Joyce Meyer and that is her right to do what is necessary to increase her confidence while fulfilling a ministry role. Being in her position is not easy and when you feel good on the inside you want to look according on the outside. She is a public figures that takes in to account her appearance and I donot believe it is in her heart to take Ministry money to make her physical appearance possible. She has been blessed Abundantly and her surgery’s are just a very small cost of what she generated.
““Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

  20. I was watching a video of Joyce from 1996 and saw how different she looked, so I was curious and looked on google and came across this...
It seems like maybe she wanted to smooth out those little lines we get above our mouths as we age... I think she probably wanted to keep herself youthful because she is in the spotlight... I don't know. I certainly don't judge her for it.
I really enjoy the insights that she shares and I get a lot out of her talks. I hope God blesses her and that she is very happy and content in the Lord.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I hope God blesses her too - and in the process convinces her to sue her surgeon. If youth was what she was aiming for she was royally fleeced. Then again that hideous facelift is probably the Lord's way of warning people against vanity, greed, and the corrupting influence of worshipping money. God has used her as a vehicle to teach his truth - and the lesson is not pretty. Once again, God has spoken.

  22. I've followed joyce for years. She didn't use ministry money to get her facelift. She used her hard earned salary. Secondly this isn't an accurate before and after. She had surgery 20 years ago. She looks way better now except for the duck bill lips. She used to have a very saggy face and bags under her eyes. I say good for her.

I certainly hope all you critics do not wear foundation or under eye concealer, make up your eyes with mascara, eye shadow, eyeliner, wear lipstick, color your hair, get mani and pedi's, bleach your teeth, wear dentures, contacts, braces to straighten your teeth or your children's. Hope you don't diet or exercise, wear stylish clothes and shoes, but mostly I hope the Holy Spirit has empowered you with the gift to judge others. LOOK in the mirror and see how your words look on you. If you can't say something nice, at least, have the ability to remain silent.

  27. Joyce is a wonderful teacher. My mom and grandma used to watch her when I was young, and now I also follow her teachings. I love her sense of humor and how relatable she is. Honestly, I love listening to her. Who cares if she got facial work done? She's allowed to live her life and enjoy it just like everyone else. She works very hard and had to give up a lot to get where she is. No one should be judging her, as only God is the judge. And I believe Joyce is beautiful no matter what she does to her face.

  28. I don't like what I see, I dont understand how they don't look in the mirror and realize, they start to look like a caricature of themselves. However, these are business minded people who's only source of income does not come through the ministry. So she can do whatever she pleases with there own money!

  29. Joyce is a wonderful teacher and I still enjoy listening to her. I'm sure her payment for facial procedures was paid for out of money that she has made writing, etc. - you know that she does get paid and that is not donated money, but hers to do with what she wants just like the rest of us. I am extremely sad that she has done this to her face that was perfectly fine. I saw her last night on my "Bible" app devotions and was shocked to see her lips/mouth. It was so hard to look at that I wasn't hearing anything that she said. I had to look away to listen to her message. I just wonder if she realizes that this looks really, really extremely awful. I am not meaning to sound mean, but it is just so distracting to her words which are so important. The rest of her face is fine, but is there any possible way to fix the mouth area? I am so sorry to sound so negative to such a lovely lady, but her mouth appearance is keeping the message from being heard for me. This is important. I only wish I could tell her.

The original writer complaining is not really understanding that the pastor and church staff get paid from the offerings that are given by Church members. Once the staff gets paid they can do whatever the heck they want with that money. 39. All this talk about Joyce's plastic surgery, I agree, she has made herself look like Jack Nicholson in the first Batman movie. It's off-putting when watching her preach sometimes, so I just minimise the video window.

But I've heard her preach on YouTube videos, for free, and I have got a lot out of her words. She is popular because she is good at finding and interpreting Jesus's mission that help me and millions. She has that talent. And she gives is away for free. People donate to her because they've been helped by her. I've never had pay a cent to receive great sermons. More than I need.

Also bear this in mind. Many women in high profile professions where they have to perform in front of the public (Acting, singer, speaker), women get more roles, gigs and events if they look younger. Men don't have this problem. So maybe that is how she justified it too herself. Most women do. You'd be surprised how many men have had work done too (Tom Cruise!) - do you stop enjoying their movies because their surgery went well?

I feel bad for Joyce that her surgery went too far. She made a mistake and has never admitted to being perfect or without sin: "Those without sing cast the first stone." I see a few hypocrites in these comments.

Bear in mind also, she hasn't hidden herself away. She knows she looks freakish. Yet she still goes out there, preaches and helps millions with mental illness and personal crises. FOR FREE.

    What are you doing?
