Well, who is really surprised by this news?  Most gospel artists don't really want to sing gospel music, they use the church as their stepping stone, Le'Andria is no different. Once they get into the industry they want to hob knob with the secular artist, go on tour with them, have them produce their albums. My question how and why would a school, even one with a flight school, be a supplier of jet fuel to the military?

I came across an article that Pastor John Gray has asked the church members to help pay for the church new roof and this has everyone in an uproar. Now, I know doggone well that folks ain't expecting the pastor to personally foot the roofing bill?  As members aren’t we supposed to help contribute to the upkeep of the building?

What if some of the most well known, leading, distinguished, noteworthy Christians in the country have gotten their education from a none accreditation college would that matter to you? I found the above flyer and a similar discussion in my timeline and thought it was interesting, so I did a little research. And upon my research, I found out that schools like this one can be viewed by some as a money profit machine which could go both ways, even though it requires a lot of academic studies, everybody wins. This school has a lot of non-accreditations partnerships and joint alliances with other schools from outside the U.S. However they do a lot of academic work, certification programs. Online congregation Pastor Kim Burrell is under fire once again – this time from Twitter followers who disapprove of disparaging remarks made toward R&B singer Fantasia. I don't understand what all the noise is about, people speak on who they prefer all the time, but because she is who she is, this is an issue. The other day Kim Burrell call out the industry “powers-that-be” for not choosing Le’Andria Johnson to portray Aretha Franklin in the forthcoming biopic starring Jennifer Hudson. Incorrectly naming Fantasia as the film’s star. She suggested that Fantasia was not as talented as Le'Andria Johnson. Why the backlash? Isn't Kim entitled to her opinion? In my opinion, they all are talented in their own way.

Online congregation tell me what you all think about the idea and assumption that pastors can steal members, even if said members are gravitating to a new voice that they believe is God? Is it wrong for a church to accept attendees or members from other churches? Well, Dr. Matthew Stevenson is being accused of stealing sheep from other churches and he doesn't like it all, so he has taken to his social media to address it. According to online sources ( you can read it here ). Sheep stealing is a term generally used to describe what happens when a church grows as a result of people leaving other churches. Many Christian teachers have suggested that churches should only grow as a result of evangelism; that is, church growth should reflect the number of unsaved and unchurched people coming to the Lord for the first time. Pastors who seek to build their churches by siphoning members from other churches are accused of “sheep stealing.”

Folks online are saying that it amazes them how people "quit church" because of the shenanigans that goes on in church but will show up to a job as a loyal employee everyday being treated like crap. In my humble opinion, even though they’re married, it’s definitely pushing the envelope a little bit for a ministry retreat but hey, then again, that’s the nature of the brand of Dr. Matthew Stevenson, founder of All Nations Assembly worldwide(pushing the envelope). More proof that the church has an identity crisis. In trying to be relevant, many have lost sight of the fact that we are called to be a "peculiar people" set apart for "The Master" purpose.

Online congregation many of us are aware of the incident that took place, in Deep Ellum Texas, a couple weekends ago; regarding the heinous beating of Ms. L'Daijohnique Lee. The video of the white Neo-Nazi assaulting the young black woman has garnered protest from Dallas black clergy. Thirty-year-old Austin Shuffield can be seen on a now-viral video punching the woman, who ABC local affiliate WFAA identified as 24-year-old L’Daijohnique Lee. Based on Lee’s account, the altercation happened after Lee drove the opposite way down a one-way street. ( You can read about the protest here )

Online congregation this is a bit of sad news coming out of Columbus Ohio. The Reverend Dr. Charles E. Booth, who was the senior pastor at Mount Olivet Baptist Church, in Columbus Ohio died on Saturday while in hospice care. Dr. Charles Booth was the founder of one of the greatest preaching conferences in the world. The Charles E. Booth Preaching Conference came into being in 2011 to address the issue of dearth when considering the current trend in preaching, in general, and African-American preaching in particular. The absence of the pulpit prophetic in addressing the concerns that challenge our people to necessitate such a conference.

Good Monday morning online congregation, the banning of four Nation of Islam Black history books by Amazon, the largest bookseller in the world has stirred up controversy and hurt feeling among The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan followers. According to the minister, Amazon provided no warning, no reason, no hearing, and no opportunity to respond—it was a blatant mockery of Amazon founder Jeffrey Bezos’s own creed, “Democracy Dies in Darkness.” Why is it considered “Anti-Semitic” to discuss the history of inhuman treatment of black people by the Jewish, is it because they don’t want to be reminded of how evil that treatment was? Why do they want it hushed and forgotten?

This is after an Alabama business had reneged on a job offer, the woman took them to court and lost.  Refusing to hire someone who has locs is legal, thanks to a recent ruling by the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission had filed a lawsuit against Catastrophe Management Solutions of Mobile, Alabama for rescinding a job offer.

Online congregation television anchorwoman Gayle King is in negotiations to re-sign with CBS for a reported $12 million salary - double what she is currently receiving to co-host CBS This Morning. King, 64, was rumored to be on her way out the door when her contract expires later this year. But her explosive interview with troubled R&B singer R. Kelly elevated her stock considerably at the network. In my opinion Gayle King has been richly rewarded for what media analysts say was a terrific interview, I don't think it was so, more like a character assassination in part. R Kelly's legal team is being led by an idiot. His lawyer must've been under the impression this interview was going to be something of a cakewalk for his client.

I just read the below article saying that schools are removing analog clocks because kids can’t read them.  Schools in the United Kingdom are beginning to remove analog clocks from the classroom — because students are complaining that they can’t read them, reports say. I remember getting tested with a picture of a clock I had to tell the time based on where the hands were that was in the late 60s in middle school. This my friend is called the dumming down of today’s children.

I agree calling her by her first name was totally inappropriate. They weren't friends and Maya Angelou is her elder. Using a person's first name is way to casual given who she was addressing. I also think it is sad watching how disengaged the younger generations are becoming toward their "elder's" ~ When I was growing up, the younger generation was taught to respect their "elder's"... when we spoke to an adult, we addressed them as "Mr., Mrs. or Miss"; when an elderly person entered a crowded area and all the available seating was taken, the younger people showed respect by getting out of their seat and offering it to the elderly. I hate to see such a disconnect!

Good Thursday morning online congregation, so just because Jerry Falwell and his wife are raising their granddaughter as she was created by God the Creator, other people are offended that she isn’t given a choice to choose her gender so they protest....what in the world!! 😱 Some pro-LGBT Liberty University students protested on campus recently after the university's president and his wife said their granddaughter will be raised according to her God-given gender. The News & Advance reports Jerry Falwell, Jr. and his wife Becki, were speaking at a satellite CPAC event alongside Donald Trump, Jr. when the couple said they would raise their granddaughter as a female.

Online congregation what y'all think about people who are forced to go through destructive practices like exorcism and conversion therapy to cure their sexuality?   Alot of Nigerian parent whom are very conservative in nature would do anything to stop their kids from being gay.  Some LGBTQ children sometime go through conversion therapy, some would have to be subjected to traumatizing experience such as being flogged, beaten, starved or at extreme cases disowned from their families. This is heartbreaking and most outrageous and evil. A young man took to Facebook to share photos of how his family’s church assaulted him in a bid to cast the spirit of homosexuality out of him. The photos show him with a lit candle on his head, with the wax running down his face. Sharing the photos, the young man wrote; “Last night my family took me to a church in an attempt to burn out the “spirit” of homosexuality from me.”

According to a new survey which show that Black millennials are dropping out of attending church regularly at a higher rate than their white peers. They said it's because they're seeking a "church home." More Black young adults than their white counterparts are dropping out of Protestant churches, according to a new study by a Nashville-based research company. Almost 75 percent of young Black adults told LifeWay Research that they took a break from attending church regularly for at least a year between the ages of 18 and 22, Religion News Service is reporting. That figure compares with 65 percent of white millennials who reported they’d dropped out of church during the same period of life, according to the report titled “Church Dropouts: Reasons Young Adults Stay or Go between ages 18-22.”

Online congregation this crime happened in my home town some 20 years ago. A truck driving turn preacher through a DNA match has now been charged with killing two Alabama teenagers found shot to death execution style and stuff in the trunk of their car nearly 20 years ago. The preacher/pastor/teacher was tied to the killings through DNA  uncovered with genetic genealogy testing, authorities said Monday.

In my opinion, DMX has always been kind of like a warrior for Christ in so many people eyes. This past Sunday Kanye West had yet another one of his epic Sunday Service which was well attended by family and fellow celebrities one of them being DMX who gave a touching prayer that has since lit up the internet and has gone viral. Kanye started “Sunday Service” at the beginning of the year, and has been hosting the gospel concerts, complete with a full choir, at his family home in California every Sunday since then. Not long ago, Donna Brazile was the interim chairwoman of the Democratic Party and a strident critic of Fox News, accusing the network of bias and hyperbole. On Monday, Ms. Brazile announced that she had accepted a new job: on-air commentator on Fox News. Ms. Brazile is certainly getting her share of criticism for joining Fox News. She has reacted saying: "My response is that, if we’ve learned anything from the 2016 election, it is that we can’t have a country where we don’t talk to those who disagree with our political views. There’s an audience on Fox News that doesn’t hear enough from Democrats. We have to engage that audience."

Can and should an unhappy church member, who has faithfully given of his/her tithes/offerings and time over the years to his church, ask for their money back? Now I all ways thought that church tithes and offerings come under the legal term of “charitable contributions.” I also thought that all charitable contributions were look at as gifts. By definition a gift is an “irrevocable transfer of the donor’s entire interest in the donated cash or property.” Simply put: once you put your money in the church offering plate or basket you can kiss it goodbye. It is no longer your money. Anyhow Some devout believers who once donated more than $72,000 to Harvest Bible Chapel, under the leadership of Pastor James MacDonald are asking for their money back.

They panicked at the mass exodus of millennials but still kept up with this fake piety foolishness. Gen Z gon’ be out the door as soon as they’re old enough to leave. They’re gonna be preaching at empty pews still refusing to evolve! I’m tired of this church!!😒

Is tax free allowances a violation of the Constitution, allowing ministers to benefit from religion in violation of the establishment clause? Should the state and federal governments provide public employees, cops and teachers with tax-free housing allowances in addition to their salaries?

According to online source, last Thursday night Quinton Graham was visiting Apostolic Revival Church in Kansas City with his mom and younger sisters for "Teen Night" when something went wrong. While the pastor was preaching, Graham admits he made a comment that set off a firestorm at the small church that's been around for 29 years. Good Friday morning online congregation, it's been reported by News One, that one of the alleged New Zealand suspect gunmen in the deadly shooting attack on two mosques Friday, had named  Conservative activist Candace Owens as "the person that has influenced me above all." One gunmen reportedly left behind “a 74-page anti-immigrant manifesto" that cited Candace Owens. Lord have mercy, I hope it's not true. If it is I know she didn’t think she wasn't one day going to get that wake up call. I can’t wait to see how many come out to denounce this as a lie. They are going to leave her silly behind out there looking like a fool, the same way KAYNE WEST distanced himself from her last year😆. But with all due respect, I feel sorry about the 49 people who were murdered in the mosque because of some racist idiot that are impart listening to our racist idiots in power. Good Thursday morning online congregation, South African news channel SABC1 has done an investigative report on Pastor Alph Lukau and Alleluia Ministries International (AMI), the church where a man named “Elliot” was allegedly raised from the dead on February 24th, 2019. Although the incident has gone viral, with many mocking it, many others still believe in Lukau’s integrity and that the “miracle” was real. “To use that vulnerability for any kind of religious gain, which is false, I quite frankly think is criminal,” said Bishop Paul Verryn, who is with the Methodist Church of Southern Africa.

Online congregation this really bothered me in a lot of ways. Now I understand that Tasha Cobb Leonard, gotta get her coins but at what cost? I truly see where she is going, but again at what cost? In my opinion, part of this reaps of a need to pander to a white audience. Many of which probably wouldn’t step foot in a majority black church if their lives depended on it. Most of  these color blind worship conferences are built on the political gaze of patriarchy and purity culture. Further these conferences exist solely to facilitate tax deductible religious profits for conservative fundamentalists who worship at the altar of white supremacy, toxic capitalism, race and gender discrimination. People forget or fail to realize that there are tongue-talkin, foot stomping White Pentecostals. What Tasha said wasn't that deep, that's why her husband is looking at her sideways. Why do we need to do it their way?

They are saying that it's mind boggling why a man with integrity as Dr. Evans would have Dr. Mason speak at this event. According to online comments, Dr. Eric Mason "Woke Church" message, pushes a VERY divisive and racist message, that is dividing the kingdom based on color.
