Get Out Of Here, Bishop Victor Couzens Compares Himself To King David!!

Good morning online congregation, oh my God, Bishop Victor Couzens is at it again. This man is something else. In the latest clip uploaded to social media, Bishop Couzens is trying to justify sleeping with two women at the same time and lying to both of them. What this guy forgot to add to the story is that God judged the sin of David and it cost him two children..one that was a child and the other a grown man who betrayed him...this pastor is going to be judged as well ....the bible says that judgment starts in the household of faith! Stop trying to JUSTIFY SIN!! Folk always try to justify their sins that found them out, especially from the pulpit. The difference between him and David is David did not try to make his wrong right.

  2. Okay, you just keep on going Victor Couzens. God will catch up with you down the road.

Using the example of David to justify his fornication--, I'm speechless. Yes, David did all the things you stated, but one thing David did that I don't think you have done is SAY, I AM THE MAN (like David told the prophet Nathan) and David REPENTED verbally, he SAID I'M SORRY and did not try to justify his behavior.

God forgives all of us, but when we try to justify ourselves, that's another matter and is a sign that true repentance has not taken place.

I never shall forget when after the scandal and laying low for a while (no pun intended), Eddie L. Long went on the Steve Harvey show to promote his book while at the same not answer any hard questions about his grooming, molestation and multiple sexual affairs with the young men and using church funds to keep his stable of young men. He said the legal settlement prohibited him from talking about it.

Just a few months later, E.L.L. posted photos of his drastic amount of weight and lied and said it was due to his vegan diet. Then as we all know, a few months after that, Eddie Long died.

God isn't to be played with. Yes, God's mercy endureth forever, but God absoDURNlutely lets the consequences catch up with us!! Keep on playing with God if you want to.

  3. God didn't excuse David's actions. How can he use David as an excuse to be involved with two different women? Lord help us.

  4. What he fell to understand, God sent Nathan the Prophet to David to correct his actions, as well as, give David the verdict of God. But, David prayed in Psalms 51, “Have mercy on me God. Create in me a clean heart and renew the RIGHT spirit.” This gentleman needs to re-evaluate the context and understand, God is forgiving God, but he’s also a God who will chastise you for your wrong.

  5. Uuummm sir, you can't use David to justify your sinful act. David was a man after God’s own heart because he showed his faith and was committed to following the Lord. Yes, his faith was tested and he failed at times. But after his sin he repented before the Lord and received the Lord’s forgiveness. David loved God’s Law and sought to obey it exactly. David's sinful actions life or any other person sinful actions are not to be use to justify our sinful actions, but they are examples to learn from them...they repented and received God's forgiveness..you sir should also do the same.

  6. As a seminary-trained pastor, he knows better than to make the text about his sinful behavior. He had sex out of the maritial covenant, which the Bible calls fornication. To take a classic story like this and justify your sin is the worst thing you can do. I don't know what to say.

  7. Mmmh! Mmmh!

Victor needs to re-read David’s story in its entirety. David was repentant and DID not glory in his sin.

It’s clear that if Victor had not been put on blast, he would not try to justify his choices in a shameless manner. He is not going change regardless that is why he tries to use David (a man after God’s heart) to beat back the heat.

    Shame on him.

  8. Sir, please sit down and accurately learn Holy Scripture... King David had consequences for his action - the child died, and a SWORD never departed from King David's house. . Which, means he had HELL as long as he lived within his kingdom and household. For that one act of disobedience King David experienced troubles upon troubles- and this PERSON desires those troubles. Well now, if you're that rough and tough - have at it, but before you go comparing yourself to someone else, you better know the whole story. 2nd Samuel 12

Three direct consequences were inflicted upon David:

First: Nathan said the sword would never depart from David’s house (2 Samuel 12:10). This was fulfilled in the successive violent deaths of at least three of his sons—Amnon (2 Samuel 13:29), Absalom (2 Samuel 18:14), and Adonijah (1 Kings 2:25).

Second: Nathan also prophesied to David that his own wives would be humiliated before all Israel (2 Samuel 12:11). This was fulfilled when Absalom “lay with his father’s concubines in the sight of all Israel” (2 Samuel 16:22).

Third: Nathan pronounced the fatal end of the son conceived by David’s sin with Bathsheba (2 Samuel 12:14). This was fulfilled seven days after Nathan’s judgment sentence (2 Samuel 12:18).

    2. Also, David's son Amnon raped Tamar, his half-sister (David's daughter) and then Solomon his son with Bathsheba ended up turning to other gods due to involving himself with women who worshipped other gods (which God told him not to do, because they worshipped false gods and would turn him away from his true God), and also due to his excess in wives & concubines (idol worship of sex), the bible says when Solomon grew old, his wives turned his heart after other gods (God is VERY CLEAR in the bible, He HATES any type of worship or belief in other gods/false gods (the reality is that there isn't any other god, they do not exist, and what is important to God is your heart, and Solomon's heart worshipped other gods....).

      Kings 11:3-5
3 He had seven hundred wives of royal birth and three hundred concubines—and his wives turned his heart away. 4For when Solomon grew old, his wives turned his heart after other gods, and he was not wholeheartedly devoted to the LORD his God, as his father David had been. 5 Solomon followed Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians and Molech the abomination of the Ammonites.…

      Deuteronomy 17:17
He must not take many wives for himself, lest his heart go astray. He must not accumulate for himself great amounts of silver and gold.

  9. He just like Bishop Murphy, used the preaching moment to address their sinful behavior. While very distasteful, at least they addressed it and not try to sweep it under the rug any longer like Dewey Smith. Just like the other commenter said above, when God exacts punishment, they won’t be able to cover and hide any longer.
