Bishop T.D Jakes Is A Nigerian, He Now Has The Plaque To Prove It.

Reader its now official BISHOP TD JAKES is originally Nigerian, from the Igbo tribe. The wife to the Senior Pastor of House on the Rock Church, Pastor Ifeanyi Adefarasin, has confirmed that Bishop TD Jakes is indeed from the Igbo tribe. Since tracing his roots back to the Igbo land in Nigeria, it was Bishop Jakes’ first time stepping on the Nigerian soil, with the knowledge that this is where he truly comes from. He was presented with a copy of Nigeria, Our Heritage as a gift from herself and her husband.

(You can read it here)

“Since tracing his roots back to the Igbo land in Nigeria, it was Bishop T.D. Jakes’ first time stepping on the Nigerian soil, with the knowledge that this is where he truly comes from. It was a special honour for me in particular, as a native sister, to present @bishopjakes with a copy of NIGERIA, OUR HERITAGE…OUR COMMONWEALTH. Welcome home! OKEOSISI – Umunne gi na asi gi nno” That’s some great news!

  1. I am so sick of this dude, it ain't even funny anymore. He never ceases to fail in nearly all he does to reveal the simpleton he really is. So what, he took the time to find out now He's Nigerian. I guess so he can connect with his ancestors to offer his snake oil to them. Lots of that going on on that continent today.

Anyways the LORD HIMSELF speaks against such foolishness, one little verse -

    1 Timothy 1:4

“Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.”

These are baby verses, people. The darkness of men desire not even to drink milk. The foolish false teacher, calling himself a bishop, would rather swirl in his own wisdom, than to hear and obey the command of God. And we say God is the problem? The biggest lie the devil.EVEE TOLD!

  2. Congratulations Bishop Dr. T.D. Jakes Sr. on uncovering your genealogy! Ignore the naysayers! "So what" some people say. Sounds like people are a wee bit jealous!

    6. Look...no need to waste your time and anyone else's time with your silliness to flatter YOURSELF. I will still use my signature, and there is NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT! SO cut out your childish silly little ways, an act like a person with a brain and contribute something godly to the topics here. That is of course, assuming you know the LORD.

AS you can tell my context and style are I present to you some much needed advice.

  3. Miss Ann,

So Jakes a head of a mega church in ATL (of the "get ready" fame) is inducted into the Igbo tribe (and NOT Yoruba or Hausa) by a wife of a mega church pastor in Nigeria (of the "Something is about to Happen" TV weekly program). Mmmmh!

Y'all "get ready" for "something is [truly] about to happen"!

"But avoid... geneologies... for they are unprofitable and vain." (Titus 3:9)

    1. Shepherd why you say Atl? Jakes church is in Dallas. Anyway he's not a Nigerian. Igbo is a nation Nigeria is a country (zoo) a British extended empire in Africa. Igbo has a national food and attire, language, culture, Igbo has their own religion which has nothing to do with chritianity (odinani) all these belongs to igbo land which means they're indigenous to the land. But the can you say the same for Nigeria? What's Nigeria national food
      National attire
      National culture
      National religion
Etc. Before you ignorantly reply me and make fool of yourself to the world please kindly study the definition of

      Nation
      Indigenous
      Country
      Ethnic group.

    2. @Internet Pastor

You made a fool out of yourself coming here to say your own words ie nation and indigenous and ethnic even after GOD HAS SPOKEN -

      1 Timothy 1:4

“Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.”

      AND

"But avoid... geneologies... for they are unprofitable and vain." (Titus 3:9)

      WHAT A SHAME!!!

    3. @ Internet Pastor,

      Apologies!

Thanks for correction on Jakes from Dallas TX.

You've actually reminded me about the "Igbo nation". Actually, this is embedded in Biafra, a secessionist state in the Eastern part of Nigeria. But then there are also other tribes alongside the Igbo, e.g. the Ijaw, and Ibibio. Are these nations too or they are part of Biafra for which the Igbo have eternally fought for independence?

By all descriptions, Igbo, although dominant, are one of the many tribes in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. And it is expected that each tribe has its unique culture, etc.

PS - even Israel as a nation was made up of 12 tribes.

What did you say again about nation, indigenous, blah, blah...?

  4. Regardless, it will further his money-making, false prophet empire. Thats the bottomline.
