Praying For Texas!

Reader my prayers go out to the people in Texas today. Hurricane Harvey hit them hard and the rain is still coming. They've already received two feet of rain and by the time it's over, will have received an unprecedented 50 inches. That's crazy. It's a trip to see boats on what appears to be lakes, but were freeways just two days ago. And it breaks your heart to see people walking down the streets with babies on their shoulders, in chest high water.

Here's a link to The Red Cross if you can help.

  1. When we think we have it bad, think of those who are going through. Prayers to Texas.

    1. Yes sir Timezone!

My prayers and thoughts to the fine people of Texas and Louisiana who are going through hurricane Harvey.

I pray that the LORD gives them the strength, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to get through (Psalm 119).

  2. I notice here, we request prayer for Tasha and Nicki, Eddie Long, Bishop Larry Trotter, the folks in Houston but never for the "white racist" who mowed down the lady in Charlottesville. This not a knock on YOU Ms. Ann, so don't take it personal. I know YOU posts what you want to. I'm just curious the request here are made.

Many folks want get the cheap "kingdom blessings". But the LORD reveals his kingdom is not meat and drink and we should "Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;".

    1. Anonymous do you want to pray for the white racist who mowed down the lady in Charlottesville? If so, please do so.

    2. Anonymous what's your point? I don't get it, if you want to pray for a white racist then that's your call but don't expect everyone else to feel the same way. I would look at Ms. Ann cross eyed if she would have asked us her readers to pray for that white racist scum bag.

    3. Carmen, if you would look cross eye at Ms. Ann, you probably would give Jesus the "stank eye". Jesus said " "Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;"."

No need to ask you to pray for Trump then either, hun? Despite the Word of God that states " I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty."

      WHAT A SHAME!

"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." Proverbs 14:12

    4. @Anonymous, Gurl please! It's obvious you do not believe the same scriptures you throw on people. You call God's people all kinds of names instead of treating others the way you want to be treated. Do unto others... Always throwing scripture on somebody and you tattooed like a common thug. What about Levitucus? Oh, that scripture does not apply to you? Gurl please. You are way too self righteous!!
