Trump says he’s fulfilled his promises to Christians, but he really means white evangelicals

Image
Reader according to The Washington Post, it sounds like 45 will be fulfilling no more campaign promises made to white conservative evangelicals. I repeat, in "my opinion", white conservative evangelical Christians are among the very worst people this country has every produced. Given half a chance, they would re-institute slavery, stone women to death in the streets for adultery (but never the men), legalize rape, execute homosexuals en masse, cart Jews off to the gas chambers, and set the world on fire all in the name of their god. We know this because they tell us that's what they want to do. They're proud of their hate until you call them monsters. Then you're attacking their faith and they're being "persecuted."

What's Everyone Thoughts About Nicki Minaj Being Featured On Tasha Cobb's Upcoming Album?

Reader apparently, the gospel music scene and secular Music Industry is going through a serious fusion. The music of the gospel is infusing with that of the secular and the global Entertainment industry is becoming a huge mix and all seems cool cause the money seems to make it all go round.

At first I use to think that it wasn't a big deal for secular and gospel artists to collaborate, now I view it differently. There is definitely a war going on. Your either sold out or your not. Collaboration on an album is not ministry its compromise. Jesus doesn't need help from the world to win souls. He needs men and woman who are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to stand up and share truth.  In my opinion Tasha Cobb been changing over the last 2-3 years. The anointing she once possessed has been gone you can tell that by her last release, that "it" factor is just not there.

    3. Come on Ms. Ann. I was commenting to your very own statements "At first I use to think that it wasn't a big deal for secular and gospel artists to collaborate, now I view it differently."

      That's IT! What's going on with you people?

  2. I think Tasha and Nicki make a perfect match. Their style of musicality is about the same. I'm gathering Nicki can teach Tasha a thing or two, how to spit a RAP. Their both have the spirit of a harlot. They both praise their own version of Jesus. Why not.

    Ms. Ann, don't get fooled by that anointing thing. To be anointed means to become consecrated, sacred, set about to do His service in High Honor and RESPECT before the LORD. There are only 2 references to "anoint" in the NT. The use has NOTHING TO DO WITH HOW WELL a person sings. READ the BIBLE please, and correct me if I;m wrong.

    I was looking for the lyrics of Tasha and Nicki's song. I couldn't find it. I found "SOLID ROCK" by Tasha though. It goes -

    Play "Solid Rock"
    on Amazon Music

    Solid, my solid rock
    Solid, my solid rock
    Solid, my solid rock
    You are solid, my solid rock

    You are solid, my solid rock
    You are solid, my solid rock
    You are solid, my solid rock

    When everything around me tries to crumble and shake
    Your consistent reputation is what holds me in place
    Today I'll tell the whole world

    You are solid, my solid rock
    You are solid, my solid rock
    You are solid, my solid rock

    So when the sun don't shine and when the rain won't cease
    You're always there, there to comfort me
    So I will stand it on up a mystery
    That I can't explain but I believe that you are

    Solid, my solid rock
    Solid, my solid rock
    You are solid, my solid rock
    You are solid, my solid rock

    I can lean on You and You won't move
    I can cry to You and You won't move
    I can trust You cause You're my

    Solid, my solid rock
    You are solid, my solid rock

    I can lean on You and You won't move
    I can cry to You and You won't move
    I can trust You cause You're my

    Solid, my solid rock
    Solid, my solid rock
    Solid, my solid rock

    I can lean on You and You won't move
    I can cry to You and You won't move
    I can trust You cause You're my

    Rock
    You are my rock
    You are my rock
    You are my rock
    You are my rock
    You are my rock
    You are my rock

    I can lean on You and You won't move
    I can cry to You and You won't move
    I can trust You cause You're my

    Solid, my solid rock
    You are my solid, my solid rock
    You are solid, my solid rock
    You are solid, my solid rock

    Again, there ae children songs with lyrics way better than what this grown woman put together. And many fake Christians sing and dance and praise her for it.

    Now the real SOLID ROCK (the one Tasha and the Devil's trying to replace to be contemporary to reach our young people)

    1. My hope is built on nothing less
    Than Jesus' blood and righteousness;
    I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
    But wholly lean on Jesus' name.
    On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
    All other ground is sinking sand.
    2. When darkness veils His lovely face,
    I rest on His unchanging grace;
    In every high and stormy gale
    My anchor holds within the veil.
    On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
    All other ground is sinking sand.
    3. His oath, His covenant, and blood
    Support me in the whelming flood;
    When every earthly prop gives way,
    He then is all my Hope and Stay.
    On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
    All other ground is sinking sand.
    4. When He shall come with trumpet sound,
    Oh, may I then in Him be found,
    Clothed in His righteousness alone,
    Faultless to stand before the throne!
    On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
    All other ground is sinking sand.

    Hey, Rev Kareem, another Hymn.

    Blake needs to have a panel discussion about the current music state in the Black Church used to dumb down black folks, to usher them in an altered state of consciousness, making them open to any suggestions spewed out of the mouths by false prophets like Steverson, Pretlow, Jakes, Dollar, Blake, Ellis, and Long (deceased).

  3. Industry Industry Industry....
    I keep tellin' y'all industry enslaves. THEY are your master, you dance to their tune or... you get cut off!!
    By the way, Kim Burrell WILL NOT make millions from being on Jay-Z's album. She got paid a fee as an appearing artist. And IF she got songwriting credit, it split a at least 2 ways ( with Jay-Z) and the sales royalties split by how many songs are on the cd. In other words, guest appearance fee and MAYBE a little publishing.

  4. The judgmental Christians always will have a problem with this so the best thing for y'all to do is go and listen to your 1950 gospel music.

    1. William Thomas, Stop "hatin" on those "judgmental" Christian. Stop judging them too. You get mad when they "judge", RIGHT? Can't have your cake and eat it too. At least I can say, they judge according to the WORD. You my friend, judge according to YOUR FLESH!

      And a little history to clear up some more of your ignorance. The HYMN "My Hope Is Built On Nothing Less" was written by Edward Mote in the 1800's, not the 1950's as you charge. See...when you are outside the will of God, out to prove things out of your own flesh, you will be in ERROR EVERYTIME.

      "Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;" Ephesians 5:19

      "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." Colossians 3:16

    2. I never said I was mad I think it is hilarious actually. The judgmental Christians are always complaining about something it is very comical.

    3. William Thomas, You defy all rules of logic. Stop complaining about what the judgmental Christians are doing. You lie to laugh because you are in a STUPOR!

    6. And after you hear the song, provide us some comedy, letting us know what you think. At least then you'll be responding to the topic at hand, instead of complaining about Christians being judgmental and laughing at them for no apparent reason.

    7. No I will continue to laugh at the judgmental Christians because you guys are hilarious.

  5. I don't mean to brag, but in one of the postings I predicted Nicki Minaj would be doing music with a gospel artist.

    Just call me Cop the prophet.

  6. Jesus did not do any business or collaborate with sinners. He preach the gospel and moved on. Gospel singers want the same spotlight these secular artist is getting. Kim Burrell did one with Jay Z. I stop buying all their music!

  7. Matthew 13:24-30

    The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares
    24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; 25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. 26 But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. 27 So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”

  8. Gospel singers collaborating with secular artists is another business decision at the end of the day. This is why gospel singers should stay independent and protect their ministries from individuals such as Minaj. Minaj's live performances leave much to be desired due to their vulgarity in their execution.
