The Big Tent Revival With Dr. Juanita Bynum.

Reader, good Wednesday morning to everyone, I 'm praying everyone reading this post have a wonderful and awesome day in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

After watching this clip from the Big Tent Revival last night of
the way Dr. Juanita Bynum walked off that platform and drove off from that tent revival has me shaking my head.

  1. I wonder if this lady has any REAL friends. Someone to be honest with her and tell her to seek help. Or her family? I'm not a psychologist but she seems like a deeply troubled woman, who tries to cover up her issues with religion. Or maybe she knows exactly what she does and just uses people? I don't know, the Lord knows everything. But as a woman it's painful to watch her. I saw some clips about the mother/daughter of Zion Ministry where she was a part of. The clips about these meeting seemed strange to me, was that a good Christian organization? Is that maybe an explanation of her strange behavior? What is the meaning of the white dress with black stripes? Just asking I'm not really familiar with American Christianity. Miss Ann,thank you for all the work you do with this blog.

    1. @Rachel You may be on to something.
Because REAL FRIENDS would have stopped her at the "self marriage" a few years ago.

I know I go hard on her with every post, but I truly feel sorry for her and pray for her state of mind.

    2. Maybe she realized she was in no spiritual shape to play with demons. Scripture tells us to check ourselves and be sure we are right. Scriptures speak of those who tried to cast out demons and they became possessed. The HolySpirit and demons is not to be toyed with.

  2. When you have no substance to your preaching, you have to use theatrics.
    Like a drive off sermon.

There was absolutely no reason for her act rude, as if she just preached the best sermon of the century.

    Not a doctor/mental illness.

    1. Cop folks are trying to tell me GOD told her to jump in the car drive off quickly....so they can no its HIM...why couldn't she just sit and let GOD have his way....am trying to understand I never seen this before so I don't no....can you help me understand?

    2. @ Cop,

It was either a "drive-through" sermon or a "drive-by" sermon.

Miss Bynum has to run her own show otherwise there wouldn't be this level of crazy on her part. Did you see the lady running right behind her like security? That's someone trying to keep their job and NOT their sanity (IJS).

  3. People who don't understand the spirit of the Holy Ghost missed the move of God last night. It was not about the The WOG. God had the floor and the car.

    1. Explain. How did God have the floor? Are you going to run like Juanita and not give an answer.

  4. Ms. Ann I was there she had to go .....to much weight was on her. You have to move when the Lord Speak to you.. Most people want understand until they done this kinda ministry... The anointing is powerful.

    1. What do you mean weight? How was the annointing powerful?

  5. Maybe she left abruptly to avoid being thronged by people at the end of service. They were in a tent so there was no back room, hallway or green room to retreat to.

  6. Listen, I've seen JB preach hundreds of times over the years including NGBM events like the 5am prayer and NEVER, NEVER have I seen her do something like that and that was in her hey day, her prime when she was in super high demand. If their was a "weight" on her she maybe would have gone in the trailer or green room.

So let's not get overly religious with this

  7. Miss Ann,

It had to be Miss Bynum and no one else to walk off like that. Funny thing is that some silly folk will follow suit for no reason at all and make this a part of their preaching act/exit.

Bynum had probably been told how much she'd collected for the night and she was done! It's hard to maintain them "7 degrees of foolishness".

  8. WHAT HOLY SPIRIT would have a church leader drop the mike and leave?!?!

What weight (besides her own drama) was so much for her to bare that it forced her to DRIVE OFF?!?!

So Put me in the "I DON'T UNDERSTAND" category

Can you imagine the apostle Paul preaching to a church and immediately leave the building, jumping on his horse and Galloping away without even acknowledging people as he rode off?

This is just more Bynum foolishness that can't be explained.

  9. To those who were there....I ask you.....please tell me did she take offerings earlier BEFORE she ran off???

    ReplyDelete

    1. The offering was taken up after the preach word. Because God used Dr.Bynum in such a mighty way the revival has been extended for the remainder of the week. Look at God.

    2. Please give us an explanation of the mighty way the Lord used her. Did she preach the gospel and many were saved? If folks were saved, did they give testimony on how the message Jesus died for them, thus they trust in the finish work through the blood? Were anyone encouraged to use their gifts to edify the body? Was anyone moved give their life to become a missionary to reach lost souls?

    3. There is a mode of preaching that Bynum follows: it starts slow, talking of how God showed/used/talked to her about something or other. Then she builds up the hype and starts talking fast, words coming out in quick succession, breathing in and out of the mic, it becomes hard to make sense of what she's actually saying. Once in a while you hear "Give God some praise!" The congregation is now on it's feet hearing words like, "your worst days are over", "the devil thought he had you", "turn to a neighbor and tell them God brought me out", "turn to a neighbor and tell them I am still here", etc... Please note that this is NOT teaching the precepts of God!

A good Bynum sermon is to get more than half of the crowd on its feet by any mean's necessary including antics.

Jesus is our perfect example (John 13:15, 1 Peter 2:21). He taught on the Kingdom of our God and he didn't have to employ any antics. Ref: Preaching in the synagogue (Luke 4:18-22 [the KJV talks of the gracious words that Jesus used in verse 22. And at the start of the chapter Jesus is filled with the Holy Spirit and it is NOT heavy on him. Also his disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit, Acts 2:4]), the sermon on the mount (Matthew 5-7).

Bynum is surely possessed, but it is NOT the Spirit of the living God.

    4. GREAT Analysis and discernment Shepherd. Marsha you should take note as opposed to accepting anything as "anointed". BTW, still waiting for you to answer my question. Don't be a TROLL for SATAN!

  10. If believers are still following Ms. Bynum, they really should examine themselves.

  11. We're so quick to judge... We don't know the circumstances behind why... Maybe she had a flight to catch or had to rush off to another preaching engagement... Who knows.?!? Don't be so quick to jump into a negative state of mind... Yeah it looked bad, BUT YOU DON'T KNOW THE FULL STORY.. I see pastors preach and then walk off to their office afterwards and not come back out.... Ijs... WER DON'T KNOW WHAT THE DEAL IS... SO DON'T CONDEMN HER
