Unbelievable, Share The Gospel With Henna!!

Reader this is unbelievable what gimmick will they dream of next. What has painting your hands, tatooing etc, got to do with the Gospel.........Nothing!!!!!!! I found this on my timeline, a church women's ministry is promoting "Share the Gospel with Henna", which is a project that will use Eastern style skin drawings to share the Gospel.

Acts 2 v 37 Peter’s words pierced their hearts, and they said to him and to the other apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?” 38 Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 This promise is to you, to your children, and to those far away[h]—all who have been called by the Lord our God.” 40 Then Peter continued preaching for a long time, strongly urging all his listeners, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation!” 41 Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all.

This is what happens when the Gospel is preached, no mention of painting hands here!

  1. The real problem is many leaders have no power, so they feel they need a gimmick to draw people. God doesn't need a gimmick to bring interest, His power is sufficient.

    1 Corinthians 2:1-5

And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

    1. Writer's Block I agree, this is so wrong on so many levels. Very cleverly done. I watched the clip and I'm absolutely flabbergasted how henna story telling has anything whatsoever to do with the Gospel?? If anything it's a distraction. The Henna Gospel is clearly not the Bibles Gospel.

  2. Lol, yes very true the Henna Gospel is more of a distraction than an effective tool for spreading the Gospel. I can imagine after a while the henna won't cut it anymore when a believer in this ministry needs healing or deliverance.

  3. Come on y'all...HENNA is of the devil (look up the word (GEHENNA) HADES). Don't LISTEN or even get involved in the devils cunning ways. Leave it alone!!

  4. According to Wikipedia, some of the uses of henna include celebration of victory over the enemies of Baal.

Is this a subtle way to mock the death of our savior?
