God sees beauty in his creation and loves us because of who we are. I pray often for the Holy Spirit to let me see what he wants me to see and to see others through God's eyes. It's disheartened to hear some people within evangelicalism treat these issues of race as if they are secondary or simply part of some liberal agenda. This is really about every person being treated as a whole person made in the image of God.
The stereotype of black women being feisty and stubborn and white women being docile and submissive is frankly pretty offensive to both races. Every person has their own personality, even if we are raised in different cultural circumstances.
