Lord Have Mercy:Texas Man's Obituary Blasts Him As Possessing 'No Redeeming Qualities'???

Reader, here's an obituary that has gone viral but not in a good way. I don't know if this obituary is a joke or not but it's a reminder that we should all be good, kind, etc. Otherwise, this might be our obituary.

It is common knowledge that people are not supposed to speak ill of the dead but it seems this family did not get the memo. They said it was a relief that he is dead and even said they wouldn't hold a burial for him. What could he have done to be treated like this after death?
The closing line of the obit cuts rather deep:

“With Leslie's passing, he will be missed only for what he never did; being a loving husband, father and good friend. No services will be held, there will be no prayers for eternal peace and no apologizes to the family he tortured. Leslie's remains will be cremated and kept in the barn until "Ray", the family donkey's wood shavings run out. Leslie's passing proves that evil does in fact die and hopefully marks a time of healing and safety for all."

    2. You REALLY need to either 1) GO back and sit in a Sunday School class, or 2) Open your Bible (you should really do so every day) and note the differences between “FATHERS” and the “DEVIL”, and “HONORING” and “WORSHIPING”.

LOOK…if you have a problem with YOUR father, YOU NEED TO FORGIVE him. That’s a part of “HONORING” him, and “WORSHIPPING” God. It really goes hand and hand. You will NEVER TRULY be able to do either, UNTIL you know JESUS in the pardoning of YOUR “sins”. Jesus died so thay your sins can be forgiven. And only when you trust Him for salvation, will you really be able to forgive your father.

The Lady here, though she came across as “courageous and right” in the eyes of many, REALLY displayed her need for a SAVIOR. Remember. Isaiah 55:8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.”

I say to you my friend, “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Cor, 6:2 Don’t put off for tomorrow, what you can do today.

  4. Colossians 3:21

"Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged."

Don't forget about this scripture either!

    1. Nothing speaks louder than the Scriptures.

This story is about the daughter and her actions, not about her dead father who is not here to speak for himself.

Again...“Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.” Exodus 20:12

      And also...

"Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord" Romans 12:19
