The People Who Ordained Chyna Davis Are Livid, I'm Told!
Reader I got questions, where is the discernment in the church? Are we Christians losing our ability to discern the difference between good and evil? (self-included) Is today's church like the religious leaders of Jesus' day, who could tell the difference between superficial things like pleasant and stormy weather, but not between truth and error? ( Matthew 16:1-3 ). Yes I'm talking about the Chyna Davis/Joseph Brunson incident last week.
It was disclosed online to everybody that Joseph Brunson had pretended to be a female and managed to fool men and women of GOD from various cities and states. These leaders now are deeply hurt after learning of his truth. Some feel that Brunson owes the church, the ministries that he deceived, and the people whose money he has taken an apology.
One more question, is an apology enough? The below comment is one I found on Facebook under a status of someone trying to justify the wrong that this person had done...after reading the comment it caused me think more about the black eye the church had received from being "deceived" than the person that was doing the deceiving.
