"Spiritual Fathers" Are Now Demanding Their "Spiritual Sons" Get Tattoos!?!??

Reader, there are a lot of young leaders in today's church who have been raised without a father figure in there life, and some in the church are taking advantage of that. Like Elijah, I would think a true spiritual Fathers would long to cast their mantle on their sons and daughters, in truth. This is crazy and so out of order and not of a God.  We who say we are following Christ cannot continue to be apart of things of this world. Anyhow,  I found the below comment on Facebook, all I can do is shake my head. Black folks ALWAYS gotta be extra!

"Listen someone please help me with this .......I just found out that "spiritual fathers" are requiring their "spiritual sons" to be "branded"..... literally tattooed!!!!!! All of their sons will have the same tattoo😳😳."

  1. I mean... smh. You can't make this mess up. It just gets worse and worse everytime I turn around. There's always no Bible to substantiate some new dumb, cultish twist they wanna throw up in the faces of the people to try and be in lock step with what the world is doing.

  2. If this is happening, it is pure foolishness. Spiritual leadership is not about sons or daughters but developing people into spiritual maturity as servants of Christ and not man. There is already poor biblical support for the spiritual father/mother phenomenon but this is certainly ungodly and insensitive to the real needs of those called to ministry.

  3. This is getting out of hand and needs to stop in the Black church. There is nothing wrong to ask for mentorship, but asking for a spiritual father is wrong since that individual is taking the place of a natural parent. This is a gross misapplication of Scripture.

  6. Many, many Christians surrender their minds (the ability to think for themselves) when they "join" some of these churches and sit under these dictatorial charlatans.

  7. Are there any boundaries that pastors can't cros
