Why Didn't Tasha Cobbs Show Up For The Woman of Gospel Event In Toronto Canada Last Night? Was It About The Money?

Image
Reader, there are two sides to every story. People have heard one side and have become the judge, the jury, and the executioner. You cannot come to a conclusion just based off of one party allegedly telling the truth-that is nonsense.

Anyhow rumors are being put forth on social media that Tasha Cobb refused to perform last night in Canada, because the venue hosting the event didn't have all her money.   What is in the dark, always comes to light.

Is It Comcast Plan To Divide The Black Church By Bullying "THE WORD NETWORK" One Of The Largest Voice In The Black Church??

Reader, there's no doubt in my mind that the attack on with The Word Network is politically driven by some of the mean-spirited right-wing white evangelicals and their cohort.   These folks are still pissed and in their feeling, because Pastor Jamal Bryant had the nerve and gall to host Minister Louis Farrakhan on his show on The Word Network, last year. Also what is going on and cannot be overlooked is the black church is in a struggle between black empowerment uprising vs cunning selfish preachers.

Like I mention in this space before some white conservatives will work with evil people from all sorts of religions all day long to advance their own agenda and cause. But as soon as they "THINK" people of color are doing the same thing they want to call them out for it. It's a double standard.

Press release from The Word Network:

THE WORD NETWORK, the largest African American religious network in the world reaching 3 billion people worldwide, was notified by Comcast that they will be dropping The Word Network in certain key markets. The Word Network responded immediately when it received the notification from the Comcast Senior Vice President of Content Acquisition.

When she was asked what the reason for removing The Word Network was, she responded by saying "because we are Comcast, and we can." The Word Network notified Rev. Jesse Jackson, Rainbow PUSH, and he immediately made calls to Comcast executives. From these calls The Word Network got a meeting with Comcast.

We explained that The Word Network has been on Comcast for the past 17 years and that removing The Word Network programming deprives the African American community of quality, spiritual religious programming. The Word Network represents the major religious organization such as, COGIC, Full Gospel Baptist, PAW, Global United Fellowship and African Methodist Episcopal Church (AME).

The Word Network has reached out to Congressman John Conyers, the Congressional Black Caucus and Congresswoman Brenda Lawrence. "The black church community takes high offense to the dismissive actions of Comcast cable to off the most reputable vehicle of the black church without cause. This would never be done to a white Christian network without provocation.

We will not go away quietly," states Pastor Jamal Bryant. "Comcast is joining the consortium of entities that deny opportunity to African Americans," adds Bishop Charles Ellis III, presiding Bishop of Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW). Arbitrary and egregious behavior such as this are the hallmarks of a MONOPOLY!!!

  1. Miss Ann,

Bryant and Farrakhan are one and the same. One fronts to be a Christian the other a Muslim. These 2 have made their money through their talk. Their respective bank balance is a testament. Should I care for the media struggle that has erupted because of one hosting the other? No!

The WORD of God is enough for me. And those who want to join in this politically driven mess, beware and understand by whose blood you have been saved.

Bryant and Farrakhan will always find ways to make "dem coins" with or without you.

The Son of God came that we might have life.

The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall NOT want...

  2. So it's ok for the white "evangelicals" to embrace and vote for a man that supports racism, donald trump, but not for black people to embrace our own even though he is from a different religion.
Not today evangelicals, not today. we are not our ancestors.

  3. Ann I agree, ever since Pastor Jamal Bryant, interviewed the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan on the Word Network television show, he has being receiving praise from those working to unify around the needs of Black and oppressed people; however, the interview also brought harsh criticisms from some white conservative christian leaders who felt it was un-Christian-like for Bryant to share the spotlight with the charismatic Muslim leader.
What’s wrong with this? Well, apparently some church leaders and network executives feel it’s wrong for Muslims and Christians to dialogue, especially when it comes to helping Black people. This seems to be the case, as some came down on Jamal Bryant’s ongoing work with Minister Farrakhan to promote justice for a suffering people. Some white folks are the devil.

  4. Ann, if Ray Charles was alive today he could see and tell what's going on here.....a blind man can see this. We now have two distinctly different black churches emerging out of the trump era, one that look like the white conservative movement and one that look like the black community. Me myself and I would never ever embrace a conservative black church, especially one that don't care about the injustice of our people.

  5. All this race talk from so called Christians, SMH.

Galatians 3:28 - There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

I don't care if it is white, black, Asian, Hispanic or any other race of churches. Christmas is all in all.

    2. King James wrote the book of demonology before he. Re wrote the bible changed names took books out no j exsisted in any tongue 620 yrs ago. Jesus was the 1st slave ship in america see the good ship jesus and when you open the good book think about the good ship if you read the old testament the hebrews vs the other nations sounds like a race war david and goliath to differt races samson and Delilah race war the curse of ham if you read in Galatians 4:th chapter i believe it tells you the bible is a allegory they still dont know who really wrote matt, mark, luke,or john. All blacks who refused to be christians in america where put to death or made slaves in 1834 all black churches were outlawed and blacks were only allowed to worship the way taught by slave masters on the plantation therefore a slave is not greater than the master remember the kkk is not a hate group but a christian organization secretly backed by United states government plz do your research if you think you can refute my words everyone has an opinion lets hear the facts thats whats wrong with blacks as a whole religious division a house divided agaist itself will fall and the blind leading the blind will fall into a ditch black dont study or understand the white power structure and the races dont come together at church u got the native church black church asain church ect....jesus said do not think i have come to bring peace but a sword and christianity has people divided kjv has 66 books and he was born in IV VI VI =666 or 1566 the author of demonology

  8. Why if they arer not Christians? I leave that up to Jesus.

    Corinthians 5:12 ►
What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?

I know you don't know me, but I tell that to all Christians no matter what race. I believe in being corrected and correcting brothers and sisters in love. True Christians have no place with racial discussions. We are all of one body, to the glory of God the Father.
