Bishop T.D.Jakes Has Some Interesting Things To Say About Race And The Criminal Justice System.

Reader, why do some want to make it seem like all minorities are on the same level about institutional racism and systemic racism? I am sorry but in my opinion, racism is a white problem. Therefore whites are the one who has to work on fixing  it.   I have never seen in any history books or political science books in America, that minorities created slavery, Jim Crows laws, and segregation. We all can find kindness, love, and tolerance in our hearts when we ask GOD for guidance and help. Racism is a heart issue, this election showed us that.

Anyhow, this is a conversation between Bill Hybels and T.D. Jakes during Global Leadership Summit and it is now available to the public. Bishop Jake's and Bill Hybels dialogue about the problem of systemic racism and the dire need for racial reconciliation.

  1. Miss Ann,

Bishop Jakes is now officially among the elite aka Global Leadership Summit. All he is saying is tickling our ears right. He knows there is no changing the system for equality. The world system runs on inequality.

With that being said; Romans 12 and 1 John 2:15-17 should encourage us not to hope in any change for good in the world whatsoever, but to disassociate ourselves from it.

The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall NOT want...

    1. I will admit that I am no Bible scholar. However, I could not determine the relevancy between the scriptures you mentioned actually say and what you said they mean.

    2. @ DC Joe,

Romans 12:2 warns us not to be conformed to the world and 1 John 2:15-17 warns us not to love the world and all that is in it.

We should not have hope that the world will change for the better in terms of equality for the minority. The world system can't allow for that to happen.

So Jakes to have dialogue on the issue of racism is to make believers think there could be hope that the world could get better. But it is not so. And he knows this.

Relevance is that we should not hope for any change in the world regardless of how many dialogues and conversations there are. We shouldn't apply worldly approach to the evil that's within our communities.

Our hope is in Christ. Not to conform to and love the world. And if you read the bible, you would understand why God is all about separation (Numbers 16:21, Ecclesiastes 6:13, 2 Corinthians 6:15-17).

The WORD of God is for your life, preservation, wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall NOT want...
