Lecrae's "The Destination Tour Symbol" Has Angered His Mostly White Fan Base.

Reader, this is sad even when you're a Christian artist any show of unity can bring about backlash. Lecrae posted the above symbol and the below comment to his Facebook page and have gotten a whole lot of pushback from it, mostly from his white fan base.   It's easy to be popular when you make no waves whatsoever... even when an occasion might demand that you do. Don't just be a Christian when it's convenient to be one. Christ promised you a cross and a crown for the journey. If you gladly accept the crown and duck the cross, you will lose both.
"A persistent symbol of resistance and unity, the clenched fist is a symbol of solidarity and support. It represent resistance to discrimination, injustice, and inequality. It is also used as a salute to express unity, strength, defiance, or resistance. The salute dates back to the ancient world as a symbol of resistance in the face of violence. (Contrary to misinformed people, it does not represent prejudice, terrorism, or racism.)"
Check out these comments:

It's funny how his mostly white fan base is always trying to keep him in a box.

  1. Let us not be confused that Lecrae is being persecuted in the biblical sense. So no crown for him.

He is being persecuted for the choice of a symbol (occult). And all his popularity is based on this and not because he was preaching the doctrine of Jesus.

  2. The destination tour should be about the CROSS, not a fist. Some in Jesus time wanted to be activists for Israel instead of advocates for the kingdom until Jesus checked them on that. We must first seek the kingdom.

  3. What else do you expect from LA CRAY CRAY...

    1. Hahaha.... Anonymous!
