A Shelter Require Homeless Women To Attend Megachurch And Tithe!!

Image
Reader this is a doggone shame, a homeless woman says a shelter required her to attend Church of the Highlands, even though a church where she was a member was about a block away.
A women's shelter in Birmingham requires all residents to board a
van and attended worship services at the Woodlawn branch of the Church of the Highlands each Sunday. They're not given the option to attend any other church. They're also required to tithe every week, despite being homeless.

Church Of God In Christ, Launched New Culture Model To Support Change For The 21st Century.

Reader God has a terrible time convincing even his true followers that change is an essential and never-ending need in the church. What is wrong with leaders who call for change? Nothing at all! With that being said,  COGIC Presiding Bishop and CEO, Charles E. Blake,  has launched a new idea for the upcoming years. According to Presiding Bishop and CEO Blake, as we continue to advance into this 21st century, we do so with the understanding that change is inevitable. Change is an essential component when conducting business, and we must learn to embrace it. Embracing change will require a paradigm shift for us individually as well as collectively. While holding fast to our faith, our thoughts and behaviors must evolve to address the needs of our church and the communities in which they are located. We must also change to accommodate new, emerging laws.

These changes will require a culture that is robust enough to facilitate making necessary adjustments, while allowing us to move on to the next level. Such a culture will help us better understand one another, work synergistically, and produce the greatest results. This culture will create the framework in which we will come to realize that while we are unique, we can work in unity, focus on common goals, and be innovative. As we work together, whether in our secular environment or our church environment, we must be intentional, focusing on building a culture that supports our desire to do greater works. Having a strategy without the right culture is a failure brewing. But having a great strategy and a great culture are the ingredients for a successful organization.

  2. Miss Ann,

I will reiterate, the WORD of God is for life, preservation, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.

Malachi 3:6 "...I am the LORD, I change not..."

We who are believers should know that the God we serve is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He requires of us the same he required of the generations before us, to obey him and keep his commandments.

If Blake knew this he would be preaching the WORD in season and out of season, reproving, rebuking, and exhorting with long suffering and doctrine (2 Timothy 4:2). But no, he has to go the way of Balaam (Jude) and lead people to err for profit.

It's clear that it is the devil who keeps changing, talking of great strategy and great culture. This is all deceit.

The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not want...

    1. YES, KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING IN THE CHURCH, WHILE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE CONTINUE TO BE HOMELESS AND DESTITUTE, OUR CITIES ARE INFESTED WITH CRIME AND DRUGS, PRISONS ARE OVER FLOWING WITH OUR MEN, WOMEN, AND YOUTH! IT'S TIME FOR THE SAINTS TO GET OUT OF THE WALLS OF CHURCH, AND "GO" TO THE PEOPLE THAT ARE SICK, AFFLICTED, HURTING, BROKEN, AND HOPELESS!!!

  4. Bishop Blake has tore up COGIC from the core. It is a disgrace before GOD the way the church is going. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever more HE changes not. COGIC needs to go back to the Ole Landmark which it was founded. It is all about money, positions, and power. It is not about SOULS. Satan son doing his job and his son and cousins following his orders. God help the people's. Take the scales off there eyes. New World Order

  5. Ephesians 6:12-13 Blake is going straight to HELL him and all the rest that are leading Gods' people's astray. And the people's that know better that are going along with all that foolishness they know they are HELL bound. They just don't care they just like being in positions.
