R eader we have got to deal with molestation, in the church. We must confront this spirit. Nobody talks about it and people silently struggle with the pain of it past and present.. This is the root to some people's struggles with there sexuality in the church. A viral video of a woman exposing her alleged molester is making headlines across all social media platforms. The video shows a woman confronting a pastor during Sunday service for allegedly sexually assaulting her and her sister.  The stunned pastor seems shocked to see the woman but apologizes to the parishioner for the claims. R eader Bishop Charles Blake seeks another term as Presiding Bishop of Church of God in Christ the world’s fifth largest denomination. Every four years the Presiding Bishop must be re-elected to a new four-year term. Blake is the seventh Presiding Bishop since founder, C.H. Mason’s first term began in 1907. The Presiding Bishop leads the denomination in collaboration tandem with a 12-member General Board. Bishop Blake, is the Presiding Bishop of Church of God in Christ, the largest African-American denomination with over 6 million members, and Senior Pastor of the world-renowned, West Angeles Church of God in Christ (COGIC) in Los Angeles, launched his re-election campaign during the 8 AM service today at West Angeles Church of God in Christ. R eader, this is a doggone shame in the fact TBN would take a false  commercial break, says a lot. Kirk Franklin is a fellow Christian brother and they didn't honor his opinion.  TBN yall  got problems. Kirk Franklin after winning the "Gospel Artist Of The Year" award at the 48th Annual GMA Dove Awards gives a monumental speech and lead all in prayer. The response was absolutely incredible. The audience was 85% white and everyone in attendance gave a standing ovation. But then it happened, good ole TBN edited it out. Kirk made the appeal to the body of Christ to speak up on the issues that are facing our country. The church has been silent and has forfeited her power. We have a collective spiritual and moral obligation to declare the truth. Usually, television shows edit for commercials but Kirk reminded us in an interview that "TBN does not have Commercials. I don't think that was a good move seeing as we are ALL trying to do our part as the Christ

R eader if I had a choice between the real and a facade, I'd choose the real, everything  began to drop off, the church tried to emulate the world. The music changed, the look changed, and the message changed. After a while the church became irrelevant. Why choose something that looks like and acts like the world that still has SOME restrictions over that which is practically the same with no restrictions? Then the church softened on its restrictions and rather being the light of the world, the church became The World Lite.

R eader, Lifeway is full of it, could it be that Jen Hatmaker, didn't tow the party line on the presidential candidate? I beleive it is!  Jen Hatmaker is a prominent Christian author, speaker, and television personality.   I like Jen, and I read her work, and follow her on Facebook. A while back, she said she loves gay people but does not believe in same-sex marriage. So while she may affirm the relationships, she does not affirm the marriages. She said this in a post about being asked to speak to a large audience and those inviting her wanted to know her stance.  Just think there are many books being sold today in Christian bookstores that are dangerous to our spiritual health, but ain't nobody checking for them. Anyhow, one of the country largest Christian retailers will no longer support this lady's message of love. R eader Halloween is fast approaching, and I am beginning to see articles on this always-popular topic in the blogosphere.  This topic has been discussed year after year.  According to the latest survey released by Lifeway Research, only eight percent of Protestant pastors in the U.S. encourage their congregants to skip Halloween altogether. As it turns out, this worldview is more prevalent among older pastors aged 65 and above. While 13 percent of elder pastors feel this way, only 4 percent of preachers under the age of 45 said they’d encourage Bible-believers to entirely avoid Halloween. There’s also a divide along racial lines, with 23 percent of African American pastors encouraging church members to avoid Halloween altogether, with just 7 percent of white pastors agreeing. These results were yielded when LifeWay recently asked preachers what they encourage parishioners to do on Halloween. R eader, I watched and posted the performance by B Slade (Anthony Williams) from Saturday night here.  I believe B Slade came to perform and a performance is what folks got but in a ministry setting, which didn't go over well with some.  We in the faith community who have followed this young man career know that he thinks differently acts different and he's years ahead of his time. The man a genius, always had and always will be. Y'all can't take B.Slade and I LOVE every second of it.... the first diss track to the "church folks" #conversation #BSlade.   Now this is what I call a Classy clap back while still showing you what a musical genius is.  

R eader, my timeline is in a tizzy this morning after the clip of media mogul Oprah Winfrey sit down with the T.D.Jakes show.  Ms. Winfrey didn’t bite her tongue when she was asked to comment on the 2016 presidential election on T.D. Jakes’ show which will air this coming Thursday. Being a lifelong Democrat, Oprah affirmed her support for Hillary Clinton and encouraged other Americans to vote for the Democratic presidential nominee if they “like this country.” Ms. Oprah had  strong words, saying the choice is clear. Do you want democracy or a demagogue? Sanity or a damaged mind with no understanding of national or foreign affairs? It is not the future of Supreme Court appointees with the possibility that a chronic liar will keep his word in that regard, but the future safety of our lives and the fragile stability of our world.     "I am with her there is no other choice"!

Blake.   Some YouTubers  are throwing shade at the bishop family. R eader, Bishop E. Bernard Jordan is once again offering free prophecy to the faith community. Every year for the last couple of years Bishop Jordan have been giving away his gift of prophecy. This year I'm taking him up on his offer.   I just applied for the free prophecy through his site and was told “Thank you for signing up for your free personal prophecy. You will receive an email within the next 48 hours, containing your personal prophetic word as spoken to me by the Holy Spirit. R eader the National Museum of African American History and Culture's purpose is to showcase the accomplishments of African Americans and to honor those who paved the way for others to follow. One might say that uncle clarence has earned his rightful place of absolute disdain in the hearts and minds of most Black Americans. I'm torn however about the decision to totally exclude him from even the smallest and most insignificant of honorable mentions in the museum. What say ye'?   R eader, Buddhists slam Cristiano Ronaldo on social media after he posts ‘disrespectful’ photo of himself placing a leg on Buddha statue.  Disrespect is defined as a lack of respect or courtesy for another person, and it can take many forms. Whether intentional or unintentional, communicated through words or gestures, or done in secret or openly, disrespect can take various forms. Anyhow, on Thursday, the soccer superstar incurred the wrath of Buddhists on social media after the Real Madrid star posed in an Instagram photo with his foot resting at the base of a Buddha statue. In the photo, also posted on his Facebook feed, the player's famous right foot is placed on top of the surrounding small wall of the statue, which is in the form of the head of the father of Buddhism. R eader, on last night Gospel artists traveled across the U.S. to the Bay Area to honor Kurt Carr and Lynette Hawkins-Stephens at Love Center Church in Oakland. Of course the loud noise on social media this morning is not about the great time that was had by all but about the performance of B SLADE. I watched the video and the comments on this live video are horrific, I was hurt. Not by B.Slade because he was ABSOLUTELY great and himself. Funny how nobody says this during a performance of Tye Tribbett who jumps, dances, screams, etc. Whether it be gospel or R&B,  B SLADE  has ALWAYS performed/sang his heart out. What's sad is watching "church people" stare at him like he was a circus act when he's been dancing like that since he came to the forefront of the gospel industry. R eader Young Prophet Manasseh Jordan is selling for a $100.00 a replica of The Ark of the Covenant as a beautiful tribute to God's faith. According to the young prophet this Ark is the visualization of the Ark that was constructed by the Israelites during their wanderings in the desert. The Israelite's used the Ark from the time of its construction until the First Temple was destroyed. It is considered to be one of the Jewish faith's most important symbols, the Ark is the only physical manifestation of God on earth. If not mistaken, Isaiah 40:9 is the first mention of the Gospel and Jeremiah is known as the “weeping prophet.” inside Jeremiah 3:16 gives the very last mention of the Ark of the Covenant in the Old Testament.

R eader I read Lecrae's latest article on huffpost, it's an excellent read. I resonate SO deeply with the letter that all should read. I really hope my brothers and sisters in Christ, (especially my White ones) take his words to heart and hear him. Read this article to understand instead of reading it to undermine his (Black people) experience(s). His fans and supports have to realize he's human just like the rest of us. I really admire him for putting himself out there like this. The best thing he can do is continue to pray and allow GOD to lead him, that's it. The rest will fall into place. People may never be pleased with him or what he stand for and that should be okay. As long as GOD is, at the end of the day, we the public are irrelevant in the aspect. Lecrae stay strong. 

R eader Jazmine Sullivan decided to post about the time she shut Gospel Singer Thomas Clay down when he was persistent in trying to get to know her. In my opinion, Jazmine Sullivan was probably in the wrong in what she said, or how she said it. But, I'm sure she had good intentions writing the post about the recently passed Gospel Singer but the internet is not giving her a pass. Many feel that her Facebook post memorializing Thomas Clay was in bad taste. Thomas Clay is the gospel artist who died in his sleep on Sunday.  Do you think that she was wrong? R eader in a recent interview on the Oprah Winfrey Network, Pastor Carl Lentz (Hillsong church) talked with Oprah Winfrey for over 40 minutes about faith, religion and Christ and described what he believes is the "root of racism" in America today. R eader, this was a very interesting read although this is an old post it's still have stirred up the online community. It's a sad perspective from the millennials and what they believe Christianity involves. I'm seriously disturbed how loosely the term "judging" is tossed around in reality what is being said don't you dare hold me accountable and responsible for my actions. I definitely agree that young people today are looking for a person that will not judge them for what they do. They are also looking for someone to answer their questions without saying they are out of order. While this is sad to see, I'm not surprised.From Adam until now no one wants to man up! R eader, the Oregon church that I mention in this space last week has now offered an apology to anyone they might have offended. The church came under fire for instituting a ban on fat people as part of a slew of mandatory guidelines to be a part of the congregation's worship team. The church has now apologized for the ban on Saturday and begged forgiveness to anyone their rules may have offended.   Christian Post

Anthea Butler, a university professor and a person of color, did not want to come to Montreat Conference Center a few weeks before the presidential election and talk to a bunch of white folks about race. His Grace Bishop Neil Ellis has been caught rigging scriptures in a way to blame the pew sitters lack of faith for Bishop Eddie Long sickness and browbeating them for even questioning Bishop Eddie Long legitimacy of leadership in their lives. Mz. Justice goes on to warn saints to please stop believing everything a bishop, apostle or prophet tells you and weigh it carefully against the Word of God Himself.

R eader, a coroner is investigating the death of a young Jehovah’s Witness who died while giving birth at a Quebec City hospital earlier this week.  Éloïse Dupuis gave birth the baby is healthy. Dupuis, however, is dead. That's apparently because she's a Jehovah's Witness, and when she had a hemorrhage during the procedure, she refused a blood transfusion that could have saved her life.

R eader, I just saw this in my Facebook timeline that Thomas Clay has moved from work unto rest. I was a huge fan. Praying for his family. Such a unique gift. I stumble upon this youngman ministry via social media about a year ago and was blown away by it and, have been following online since. I've not heard before Bishop Blake's testimony about his early years in ministry.....this is very encouraging for anyone who's despising the day of small things.  

R eader, if being gay is a sin, and that is Watermark's argument for denying this man's admittance to their church, then how are any of us sinners allowed through those doors? It seems everyone online has been holding this church in such high regard because their members were perceived to be wealthy and known, but not all. People online are reacting to the letter shared by former church member Jason Thomas in which church elders inform him that he is “no longer a member of the body at Watermark.” Their reason?
