Why Didn't Tasha Cobbs Show Up For The Woman of Gospel Event In Toronto Canada Last Night? Was It About The Money?

Reader, there are two sides to every story. People have heard one side and have become the judge, the jury, and the executioner. You cannot come to a conclusion just based off of one party allegedly telling the truth-that is nonsense.

Anyhow rumors are being put forth on social media that Tasha Cobb refused to perform last night in Canada, because the venue hosting the event didn't have all her money.   What is in the dark, always comes to light.

Pastor Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church Ranked America's Largest Megachurch With 52k In Attendance!

Reader, have you ever heard someone discussing friends, family member or co-worker and all the sin in which they have been involved, all the error they believe and all the problems in their life but they end by saying, “But at least they’re going to church”?  I found the following comment on my timeline under the above article: “At least they’re going to church.” Reader, what does that phrase really mean? I think for so many “going to church” equals Christianity. Do you agree?

Christian Post: Anyhow, some newly released research into the growth of megachurches has suggested that Pastor Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, remains the largest church in America, with a weekend attendance totaling 52,000 people. Church Growth Today, a research center led by John N. Vaughan since 1980, said in a statement that Osteen’s congregation remains the largest,

  1. You can live and do however ya wanna do, and hide...

Sad that people are drawn to feel good motivational speakers such as him and his wife! Makes you wonder how many of those people just don't know, I started out watching him until I realized I was getting nothing out of it!

  2. There is a blog I went to and this person believes that the judgement of the churches has already passed (Revelation 1-3). Reason being that after the Spirit has spoken to each church, the words "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches" are for us who have come after the seven churches and have believed in the name of our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die but after this the judgement." This judgement could be in Revelation 20 where the book of life is open and whosoever is not found in that book is cast into the lake of fire. Ecclesiastes 12 concludes that we have to fear God and keep his commandments, for that is our duty.

So those who are trying to hide in the churches are deceiving only themselves. God is not mocked, he who sows to the flesh reaps corruption but he who sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting (Galatians 6).

So mega churches can display and show off their statistics, but our God is not a God of large numbers. Many are called but few are chosen (Matthew 22) - go figure.

    1. True Anonymous. All it takes are a few nice, warm fuzzy words and puts some a Jesus in it, it's validated. hmmmmmm. Sounds like 2 Timothy 4:3 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

    2. I remember Osteen on Larry King Live when he was on. And yes the pressure was on when Larry ask, would he attend a homosexual wedding. The pressure on, looking at his wife, nervous. Ofcourse he answered yes. And the excuse is and what makes so many people comfortable in their beliefs is, "I'm not the judge." Then they believe they've won the debate, but what Osteen and so many others fail to realize is Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

    3. Amen and AMEN!!!

    4. For me one thing Joel is doing right is winning souls for GOD. that's a lot of souls a week to have for GOD and that's the main thing. Regardless if he is not preaching the correct way folks think he should be preaching. He will answer to GOD in the end for that not us. How many souls are we winning over to GOD? You can count on GOD asking us that question. We really shouldn't be judging a brother in Christ. We should instead focus on our own salvation and do good works for GOD until the return of JESUS. Which will be coming a lot sooner than people think.

  3. I like Joel Osteen and watch him whenever I can.

    1. "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires" 1 Timothy 4:3

    2. Oh please, black preachers have been tickling and deceiving their flocks for years. I appreciate Joel and a few other ministers. I'm not exclusively following just one, which is the beauty of my journey. I don't allow others or one specific group to dictate my faith and my walk. Be well.

  4. When you don't
    talk about Hell,
    Mention sin,
Don't display a cross because (in his words) it might offend some people,
And tell people that they can have their best life now.
You SHOULD have he largest church.
Cause people love having their ears tickled.

  5. Cop I agree we should all beware of where the masses flock ...there will be greedy and prideful hearts.
Be wary of false preachers who smile a lot, dripping with practiced sincerity. Chances are they are out to rip you off some way or other. Don’t be impressed with charisma; look for character. Who preachers are is the main thing, not what they say. A genuine leader will never exploit your emotions or your pocketbook. These diseased trees with their bad apples are going to be chopped down and burned.
    Matthew 7:15‭-‬20 MSG.

  6. "...there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the LORD that bought them... and many shall follow their pernicious ways... And through coveteousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you..." 2 Peter 2:1-3

    Sadly Osteen fits the bill.

  7. I'm sure I could draw a good crowd where I pastor if I spoke deceivingly and left Jesus out and teach things people want to hear not what the word of God says. The thing is SCRIPTURE says the preacher is responsible for all the souls he caused to be lost to eternal damnation, and as for me I am innocent of the blood of those who suffer eternal death.

  8. Ann I believe, his form of christianity, leads everyone to be unprepared for the coming tribulation. He speaks on the philosophy of the bible and if he had a clue in having a relationship with Jesus, he would know that pretending like everything in this life is about attaining riches, rather than being disciples of Christ, should at least create an honorable mention.
We are headed for massive upheaval, and he appears to be oblivious.

Spiritual warfare is a must. These poor unfortunate people who follow him will more than likely be trampled under foot and be a part of those, who are in the category of the great falling away.

  9. Yall know at first I really liked Joel but I think he has gotten away from what the bible teaches us. Matthew 19:21-26 Jesus answered If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor.

    1. I liked his father John Olsteen's preaching style
      He preached from the bible
When u can , google him
