Church Of God In Christ News:

Reader the Church of God in Christ announced Tuesday that it plans to begin construction next March on the Mason Village multifamily development in South Memphis. The city of Memphis is loaning $4 million for the $10 million project, which will bring 77 "affordable townhomes" to the 6.3 acres that was the vacant site of Fowler Homes, a public housing project at Fourth Avenue and Crump Boulevard torn down in 2004.

  2. This church is a joke. All you hear them sayil is "we should be the lender and not the borrower." Yet with this project they are borrowing 4 million dollars from the city of Memphis to help them with their "special projects". Tons of cash have gone through this organization over the many many decades. And yet they are coming under the guise that they are doing something so special to build affordable housing on only 6 acres of land. Nothing will ever prosper where there are weapons of greed, false doctrine and sin at the top. RIDICULOUS! SIMPLY RIDICULOUS!
