"Come Sunday" The Story Of Bishop Carlton Pearson!

Reader Chiwetel Ejiofor is in negotiations to join the Netflix film “Come Sunday,” a true story based on a 2005 episode of “This American Life.” “Come Sunday,” tells the story of Carlton Pearson (Ejiofor), the renowned evangelical minister in Tulsa, Okla., who stirred up controversy with his revelation that hell does not exist. He loses everything and must rebuild his church and his family and find his own personal faith.

  1. This will be interesting.

    1. Ms.Ann I wonder will they be able to get the rights to those Azusa albums or will they have to re-record them? How will those be filmed for the movie? Is this the the FIRST gospel music biopic? Soooo many questions!

  2. This is a courageous and compelling story. Everything changed for me after I read his book in 2007. He lost everything to pursue his truth.

  3. I love this... Man can strip what man creates but not what God creates! Hey Pastor Jamal Bryant all that grandstanding you did on Lexy show and this man is still holding on, just using an enlightened hand.
