Church Announcement: Donnie McClurkin Has Announced He Is Not Getting Married!
Reader Pastor Donnie McClurkin took to periscope today to address the CHRISTIAN POST article that falsely stated and announced his engagement to Nicole C. Mullen. Pastor Donnie confessed his love for Nicole but made it clear in his scope that without proper counseling, there would not be a wedding....and they both agreed to this.
Wait, What? Donnie McClurkin is marrying Nicole Mullen who just ended a 21 year marriage & has four kids? CRAZY
ReplyDeleteDonnie and nicole C mullen needs counseling separately. He has burden of ministry. She has burden of getting back with ex-husband.
ReplyDeleteDonnie should leave this man wife alone. King Daivd had Uriah killed for his wife then fell from grace n adultery. Give this man back his WIFE Donnie.
ReplyDeleteDonnie McClurkin is not in love with Nicole Mullen. He’s in love with the idea of being married.
ReplyDeleteMmmh, maybe, maybe not. Here are my thoughts, and I could be wrong. What is evident is there is a lack of discretion (Proverbs 2: 11 “Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:”) and wisdom (James 1:5 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”) all around starting with Matt Crouch who was eager to tell Donnie’s business in living color. This led to an awkward moment for the latter. It is hard to say why Crouch did what he did but it was not his story to tell, like any grown man should know. So Christian Post picks up the news and publishes. Donnie goes on to streaming social media to correct the Christian Post headline and NOT the content. Miss Erica “defends” Donnie, why? Not sure. Once again, it’s not her story to tell. A few things to keep in mind is that Donnie talked of getting into detail on his situation with Miss Nicole on the next PTL episode on TBN. In my opinion he should just have typed out a statement and let the story die. Now everyone will be tuning in to TBN to know what next. So was this for ratings? Not sure either, but I do understand what Paul meant by, “Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.” (Hebrews 13:12-14) and “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.” (2 Corinthians 6:17). Followers of the LORD Jesus have no business living life in the limelight.
