Church Announcement: All Nations Mass Deliverance Service!

Reader, what is your church's practice when it comes to Deliverance Services? Is it something that's practice at your church? Is this something we as a Church should openly be doing more of? Or, is it better off being something private between the leadership and the members? I appreciate your input, so please don't hesitate to chime in with your comments in the comment section.

  1. When I think of deliverance, my mind immediately goes to the testimony of Pastor DL Foster, a real minister (unlike Kirk, SAPP, Hezekiah, Juanita, leandria). This man used to be in the homosexual lifestyle as a result of being sexually abused. He hit rock bottom, called on Jesus to save Him, realized his weakness even after salvation, continued to pray and study the word of God to know the truth about the evil and wickedness of that sin. Now he holds retreats and shares with the world his testimony, hold steadfast to the doctrine of Scriptures. This is true deliverance. Its confessing, dependence on Jesus for salvation, prayer, continued repentance, ministry through the gift (not singing) God has given you, edifying and building the body of Christ. Kinda like the life of Paul, who once hated God's people. Only to meet the Savior on the road to Damascus, His life changed, as he humbled himself in obedience to His will and His way. He was taught and learned the things of the Lord. Neither he nor DL went to some service, landed on the altar, due to being but in a trance by the music and ombience of the place to feel emotional. Their personal encounter with the Lord compelled them to live holy. That's what true deliverance is my friend.

  3. My church does not do deliverance services. In my opinion something is terribly wrong in today’s churches when it comes to the “full-gospel” instructions of Jesus. MATT 10:1-8 (vs 8)“Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give”. Luke 9:1-2 “And He called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all the demons and to heal diseases. And He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to perform healing”. Mark 16:15-18 (vs 17) “These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues”. Dr. Matthew Stevenson all way saying we need to get up and out of these dead churches that don't have any power.

    1. Ms.Sapp why stay in a church that does not believe in healing and deliverance? That was a key point in the ministry of Christ Jesus. We go to church hurting are dealing with demonic influences and leave the same way. If the church you belong to doesn't believe or practice this vital aspect in their ministry then why do you attend. Jesus came to heal the sick and deliver the oppressed. This is a key part of ministry that is missing in the church today.

    2. Ms. Sapp....maybe your husband Marvin needs to be delivered so that he would be a godly husband to love you as his wife and cherish you, making his wife known public. The purpose of marriage and wedding in particular is to let it be known before the public as a witness to the institution He designed. You better get away from this guy or you will come up missing.
