Where Is The White Church?

Reader when will the white Christians in this country PROTEST Police murdering Black men? in my opinion, this is equivalent to LYNCHING.There should be more non-black supporters than there are. I know, there are some that will speak up, but I noticed that a lot of white people get quiet when things like this happen. Why?

Why are White Church Leaders...Roman Catholic, Episcopalian, Lutheran, Methodist, Baptist, Mormons, Presbyterian, Jewish, Buddhist, etc. and you SO SILENT? I would love to hear what the white clergy body have to say about the killing of black people by white policemen? Just in case your question is whether this is racial, it is. We support white clergy, we buy their cd's, DVD's, books go to their conferences, concerts and send our money to their ministries. So my question to these white ministers of the Gospel why haven't any of them voiced their support for racial equality, voiced against police brutality and voiced about black people being murdered by white police officers?

Thank You Pastor Ramsey:

  1. Ms. Ann you expect the same church that supported slavery and Jim Crow to care about this? C'mon!

  2. White Christians have been killing black people for hundreds of years, so why would they really give a damn about us now?

    1. To my white silent and indifferent Christian conservative family, I am sadden by "seeing you don't see and hearing you don't hear." You were silent during slavery, jim crow, civil rights, and now. Then you say, don't bring up the past, but then there hasn't been national repentance by our country or you! I have become apathetic to believe you will ever speak prophetic to these matters. To be honest, I'm not waiting on you to be. I am thankful for those who have reached out and have expressed their empathy and shared brokenness and willingness to share their sword with us. With that being said Black Christians have to stop waiting on white approvals and doctrinal green lights from them to act!

  3. Why would you expect support from the same group that enslaved us and use the Bible to manipulate us?

  4. Where is the black church? Like Malcom X said...stop seeking comfort and answers from the the very ones who oppress us...

All black churches are doing is having conferences, spending to much time looking crazy on periscope and getting rich off of their members.
Individually we need to step up and make change happen. I dont want to "HEAR" anything else. Talk is cheap and ineffective.

Ms. Ann with all do respect, what are you doing? You have a great platform. The stories are informative and there is nothing wrong with what you share. However, as it was said, if we are not active participants in change,we should not speak about change.

    2. I applaud you for lending your financial support. I do as well.

When i asked what are you doing i should have been more specific. Do you mentor? Do you teach about history, race, economics, being a proverbs 31 woman etc in your community? Do people know you by your contributing acts outside of finances?
Please be clear that i am not judging. I ask simply because i feel as though i dont do enough even though i do all things mentioned above. Maybe you are doing something that i can lend my support to or get involved with in my area.

  5. Also, maybe you should go to their websites and social media accounts and pose this question. I doubt if they will see it here. That is if you haven't already.

  6. Hi Ms. Ann and everyone. Yes, these are some troubling times and race is huge. It's incredibly heartbreaking to see what's going on. But here is some light that I believe that shines. This lady is of a ministry called Banner Church. I know I know... It's not enough for most blacks, but it drives home a point from those whites who are not racist and have a true caring heart. Here ya go... This videos has already made Tampa News locally. It's not a big name ministry, but I could careless about that. https://www.facebook.com/savannamhartman/videos/10154363112808804/

And where is the outcry from white Christians for Black on Black crime?
They should do more than separate themselves on the most sacred day of the week and teach from their pulpits Thou shall not murder".

    1. I definitely understand where you're coming from Anonymous. All of this is an all around encompassing systematic cycle that's destroying everyone and within the black community. I mean, I read where there were 50 shootings, including 3 children with 4 deaths over the 4th of July weekend in.. yep. Chicago. Awful.

    2. And where are the white Christians against white on white crime? They seem not to say anything about any crime at all with the exception of abortion. And even at that, abortion is a banner issue for the Catholic church mainly. But the Catholic church is so messed up, they tend to lack lots of credibility. Maybe the white Christians think preaching "thou shalt not murder" is enough. It is the devil who seek to steal, kill, and destroy.

Ms. Ann, I hear you but the white church has never embraced the black community. Joel Osteen, Charles Stanley, David Jeremiah, Andy Stanley, and so forth have never cared about black lives.

  13. This is while I have a problem in supporting white ministries. They have a issue in supporting anyone outside of their own. They forget that we blacks support them with our monies.
