Sad, To See Another Church Close It Doors Because Of Financial Problems and Predatory Lending Practices By A Bank.

Image
Reader according to research, on an average day in the United States, nine churches close their doors for good. This isn’t often talked about, partly because it’s not exactly breaking news. Church professionals know the trends: church membership and religious affiliation are declining. Relatively few churches are growing. It’s particularly hard to talk about your own church’s demise. It’s not easy to say what sometimes needs to be said: “It’s time for our church to close.”

Religious leaders in Bridgeport announced last Saturday that one of the biggest churches in the city was shutting down this past week.  Parish officials say the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit on Union Avenue is in foreclosure and the bank will take possession of the building. According to former Bishop Kenneth Moale's wife, the church is in need of $150,000 by this past Monday to keep the bank from foreclosing on the church.

Question, Should The Preacher Talk Show Be Cancelled?

Reader, could this be the episode of the Preacher talk show that has encouraged the petition for the show to be cancelled?  According to Pastor G Craig Lewis of Ex-ministries this shameful episode of the Preachers show,  shows RuPaul a drag queen, schooling the preachers and teaches them how to pray.   The preachers did not even correct RuPaul as he gave his “New Aged” philosophy of prayer and his higher power to millions watching. They even told the audience “do not forget to check out his show and watch it??” A drag queen show?? Watch the below clip and then continue reading here:

  1. Ok. Now I gotta say something. I went from being sad, feeling down and prayerful, to now I'm just straight up ANGRY! On the day that it's time to cast the devil and his demons into the lake of fire, I may put in a request to help the angels out in doing the casting. Gabriel, Michael (I'm willing to help ya'll)....If they need help and I know that won't, But I'm just saying. I'm so glad my Pastor is taking on the Book of Revelation now on our Wed night Bible study which is a book that most pastors fear and I know these clowns on this Preachers reality joke talk show have no clue about and have no intention of teaching. We're in an age now, (Laodicean Church; meaning lukewarm or halfhearted) to where so-called ministers want to patty cake their way up into the pulpit, put on a performance, entertain that massess and have the congregation feel comfortable in their sins. That suppose to be preacher says he's beginning to understand humanity thru a different lens. BRUH, WHAT LENS YOU TALKIN BOUT!!!??!! Straight dumb. The lens you need to be understanding is Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Somebody called me saying they need someone to play keys at their church in ATL. This dude ask me,"So, what do you believe?" I said, uh, JESUS. Uh brother man, the Bible only. This joker said, "Well sir, we're a progressive church and we accept everyone and I'd like to add that our pastor is gay." TIRE SCREEEEEEECH!!!!!! I said hold up. I'm good dude. God bless you and I hung up. I felt bad cause I didn't bring the Word down onto him and minister to his heart. But I also realized we're at a point now of STRONG DELUSION.
The wheels are coming off folks when it comes to what the church is suppose to represent and how ministers are to portray the gospel without fear or trembling. Sorry, take that back; the wheels have completely fell off. And for any Christian and I use that term loosely, that thinks that this show is cute, funny, and informative and you believe this is a tool that can be used to save those which are lost and in their sins....you are incredibly mistaken to the max. I pray that whose who believe this, wake up and realize that we are truly at the end of days. Unfortunately like my pastor said this past Sunday as I sat on that organ, he said it's only going to get worse, but we have to keep ALL OF OUR TRUST IN CHRIST AND NOT IN A CANDIDATE THAT'S RUNNING FOR OFFICE OR OUR TRUST IN MAN. ONLY IN JESUS ALONE. PERIOD.

  2. It's almost like.. (pause, thinking)..you can't even believe what's going on, but it's straight Bible. And what's really amazing is how church folks with flip and turn this upside down to even justify the foolishness of what we're witnessing..smh. But hey, we're here now and we're seeing who is serious about this thing and who's just playing around.

  5. Now before someone bashes me over the head with a church pew. There is some good to this in sense of the show making these people comfortable enough to speak out about themselves. Thus giving the serious christian a lesson in discernment. Of course you could get the same example from Jerry springer or maury but the point is maybe just maybe it will be used by God to wake alot of Christians up about how accepting we as church have become. I just see it as a good tool to study my enemy. I want to know my enemy with the same seriousness as they know me.

    1. That is an interesting perspective. I believe God is exposing these men for what they are through the show: Star-Strucked Pastors. We have been a little too accepting of ideas in the church. RuPaul teaching on prayer with the foolishness with RuPaul's Drag Race on Logo TV. We do need to know our enemy so we can minister to people effectively and compassionately without compromise.

    2. Yeah, except they are not speaking out about themselves. They are only telling you what they want you to know about them, especially during a short interview like this.

People like David and Paul talk about their wretchedness. These ministers and the show made it comfortable for Ru to do positive speaking. Again a psychological operation on the mass to induce moral relativism.

And I'm supposed to believe Ru Paul when he says he prays everyday? I know many strong men of God who do not pray everyday.

  6. timezone, Ru Paul is enough to make think we have reached rock bottom. But I have to say that it is true. This is only the beginning. Much much worse is still to come. SMH....

  7. Wow, what a show. You can't add or take away from his word and you also can't make wrong right and right wrong. It just will not happen.
