Why Didn't Tasha Cobbs Show Up For The Woman of Gospel Event In Toronto Canada Last Night? Was It About The Money?

Image
Reader, there are two sides to every story. People have heard one side and have become the judge, the jury, and the executioner. You cannot come to a conclusion just based off of one party allegedly telling the truth-that is nonsense.

Anyhow rumors are being put forth on social media that Tasha Cobb refused to perform last night in Canada, because the venue hosting the event didn't have all her money.   What is in the dark, always comes to light.

Fix It Jesus: Racism And Black Lives Matter According To John MacArthur.

Reader I love the teaching of John MacArthur, but disagree with him on this. I've admired his work for many years and read many of his books, but I DISAGREE with him on the fundamental issue of fixing the race problem. This is a cop out, and a excuse for doing nothing....which is a stance a lot of our white Christian are taking.    Thoughts from my fellow reformed brothers who are also BLM advocates?  Do you agree?

  1. I think McArthur's response was perfect. There is neither Jew nor Greek in Christ. And for any who oppose what this man is saying, calling yourself a Christian, come up with some Bible. As a matter of fact, when you look at the history of BLM, it shows it to be an organization founded by three women who worked for a socialist leftist organization. Two of these women identify themselves as queer. And one of the biggest leaders within the movement is DeRay Mckesson, who is an LGBT activist and is a major promoter with GLADD, the military arm of the Gay Mafia. BLM is getting a lot of its donations from George Soros, and even from some of the Rothchilds. Any time indivuals like these are sponsors, I readily raise my eyebrows. This movement is nothing but a front to usher in socialism.

    1. Wow. A "non-issue"? So, his solution is to not address it at all? This is a terribly disappointing answer from a Pastor. Too many White Christian denominations are hypocritical and inconsistent in their rationale of who is worthy of protection. Many are very vocal about the protection of the unborn. Why does the standard change when it comes to protecting the lives of those that walk among us? Answer that?

    2. Drive By I agree, as a grad of Master's College and a long time follower of the man we call "J Mac", I'm saddened and disappointed in his "non-issue" stance on this subject. Too many White Conservative Evangelicals have been silent regarding the injustices of African Americans. The vast majority "were silent during slavery, Jim Crow, Civil Rights, and now" (E. Mason). To use the Gospel as an escape route to God's call for us to love our neighbor, to mourn with those who mourn, and to bear one another's burden is simply unacceptable. I became a believer 10 yrs ago and the "issues"/injustices of being a black man in America have NOT "fallen away". I still love me some J Mac, but glossing over this is out of step with the Bible. Grace and peace.

  2. Thank you Anonymous and John McArthur. Glory! Some of you folks STILL refuse to hear the TRUTH....SO SAD! AND YOU SAY YOU'RE A CHRISTIAN and still holding on to devilish hate. How much more accurate can you quote THE WORD as he did. Let the Holy Spirit circumsize your heart and you will stop fighting against God. As he said, there is neither Jew nor Gentile, bond nor free (above one another) in Christ Jesus. Oh, is he a white devil???

John is skirting the issue like all white folks do.

  3. Ms. Ann I usually love John's answers also, but he is way off and seems hypocritical on this one. I've heard him speak against social issues such as abortion and homosexuality. Then for him to say that this is a non issue because it is a social issue appears to be selective and ignorant at least.
