Why Didn't Tasha Cobbs Show Up For The Woman of Gospel Event In Toronto Canada Last Night? Was It About The Money?

Image
Reader, there are two sides to every story. People have heard one side and have become the judge, the jury, and the executioner. You cannot come to a conclusion just based off of one party allegedly telling the truth-that is nonsense.

Anyhow rumors are being put forth on social media that Tasha Cobb refused to perform last night in Canada, because the venue hosting the event didn't have all her money.   What is in the dark, always comes to light.

1. I see these postings all the time. Problem is there's something missing. Not to be picky, but I think this is kinda.... uh important. Needs to say, "An individual or individuals who have truly received Jesus as Lord and Savior and living the life they should live before the Lord." The church where my wife and I do music was truly God. When we left the last church where the Minister thinks it's okay to have freemasons running throughout the church, having dudes coming in and perform who are okay with homosexuality, we had to get outta there. I literally handed him the keys to the church at the end of service in a meeting I called. I gathered the deacons and the preacher in the back. They kept pushing the keys back to me. I said, "nope, I love ya'll but I gotta go." Gave them a hug and I was out. They were shocked beyond measure. We went a year without a church and I was helping churches out on the side, hoping to find that one. Ya'll, it's some foooooolishness out there! Anywhere, my wife and I just allowed the Lord to lead us. To make a looooong story short, a minister in a small town here in Georgia believe God for a husband and wife team. Amazing. This great man of God said, he ain't putting up with no mo foolishness from musicians. And here we are. It was amazing. When a minister puts God first and just trust him, you really won't have to do the posting thing. I mean the minister who I'm with now went like 2mos with just a drummer beating on the drums, the choir singing and that was it. When my wife was visiting, she admitted, "it was a mess." LOL.. But praise God this thing came together. Just trust the Lord Hallelujah.

1. There's foolishness everywhere. The church isn't for the saved, it's there to reach the lost and unsaved. Preaching to the same saved folks every week and demanding that everyone come to same spiritual revelations at the same time is unrealistic and counter productive.

2. Hi Timezone,
I've been searching and praying for a church home here in Georgia that is not masonic. I would love to visit your church, can you please email me the church's name, address, and location to savedlovedjustified5@gmail. I agree with you, I love them but will not follow leadership that practise this.

3. Appreciate it Timezone if you can help "Thank God For Salvation." This is like the second time someone have come to this blog asking for help with finding a church home.

4. Absolutely Thank God For Salvation. I'll email the info this afternoon before 4pm eastern time. And to Anonymous. There is foolishness everywhere, from cussin' preachers, preachers sleeping with sistas in the congregation to the other way around, smh. You are also correct, to be in church and preach and preach and preach and these churches never ever go outside the four walls of the physical church and reach the lost. That's the whole point, to go out to the unsaved and bring them in and get understanding of who God really is. Yes. People look at the church as a "building" per-se, but the church is within us as the Holy Spirit leads and guides us. Now as for attending church is concerned, a "true minister" who truly follows Jesus is their to keep the saved folks built up, because we are not perfect. He is there to keep everyone encouraged because this world is getting off the chain crazy. Unfortunately though there will be a great falling away and I believe we're in the midst of it now. Back to church, after all: Romans 10:14 - 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And also Hebrews 10:25 - 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Church attendance should not be based on the fact of just going to say you went, however there needs to be a change, because there are those that go and go and go, and there life is still messed up. Sad but true. Finally, we just have to be and stayed encouraged.

7. Right...the church is not for the saved. All saved folks, get up and leave and never come back. Unsaved people go into the building and once you become save leave and never come back again. This is real productive.

8. No problem whatsoever Thank God For Salvation. Anonymous, which church are you talking about? The overall spectrum of how churches operate today?

2. To qualify, the individual has to be "a soulful-charismatic person with a traditional gospel flare". WOW, that says a LOT! TRADITIONAL Gospel Flare? In other words, he's looking for a Black musician, who uses worldly tunes and beats, to get his congregation excited.

Many are even confused as to what TRADITION is. And this is evident here for this post. The LORD has His Truth. THE Pharisee and Sadducees and scribe HAD TRADITION, they made up opposing GOD's TRUTH.

Now here's my RANT -

I'm going to give the lyrics to a song that just blessed my heart. The melody was simple and FULL of BIBLICAL TRUTH AND DOCTRINE, the music was "background" and accompanied the lyrics and not overpower it.

In my opinion music should paint the picture for the message. For example in movies, ever notice the music behind a frightening scene. If the director wants his audience to be scared in a horror movie, say for a scene of a man with a knife sneaking up on a woman alone in the shower, the background music is not going to be to the tune "TWINKLE, TWINKLE LITTLE STAR". It's called text painting, which all of these Silly Black Gospel Artists know NOTHING ABOUT. Yet they call themselves musicians. How dare any of these NEGROS talk about the LORD's Grace, using background music to a BEYONCE track. These guys may be talented, but they are not SKILLED in the LEAST OF the word. They want to use the world's and create their own beats to satisfy their flesh and emotions. The world already told us the effect they want their music (not the lyrics, although their lyrics are diabolical) to have on us and our children. Yet these "church" folks want to remain in their ignorance to be and do just like them. WOW!!!!

Why anyone would want to apply for the position advertised is beyond me. BUT someone will, who fit the bill of this insane calling by this biblically illiterate Pastor, so to usher His weak minded congregation into SOMETHING, but it won't be WORSHIP!!!

Now the lyrics to a SONG called "IT WAS FOR ME":

Why leave a Heav'nly mansion?
Why choose a simple stall?
Why wander poor and homeless,
The King and Lord of all?

Why heal a lonely beggar?
Why cause the blind to see?
The Light of all creation,
Shining there for me.

It was for me He cried, for me He died,
For me He shed His blood upon the tree.
It was for me He came, for me His shame;
For me, oh, praise His name, it was for me.

Why stay in Olive's garden?
Why spend the night in prayer?
Why suffer such betrayal,
In anguish kneeling there?
Why leave His mother crying?
Why set Barabbas free?
The spotless Lamb of Heaven
Given there for me.

It was for me He cried, for me He died,
For me He shed His blood upon the tree.
It was for me He came, for me His shame;
For me, oh, praise His name, it was for me.

Why climb that dreadful mountain?
Why suffer agony?
Why give His blood a fountain spilled and broken, flowing free?
Why He walked the road to Calv'ry, gave His life so willingly,
Broken there, the Rose of Sharon died for me.

It was for me He cried, for me He died,
For me He shed His blood upon the tree.
It was for me He came, for me His shame;
For me, oh, praise His name, it was for me.

The King Who came from Heaven,
To the cry, "There is no room,"
Now must lay His weary body
In a cold and borrowed tomb.
But the grave it could not hold Him;
Death lost its victory.
The risen Lord of glory is living now for me!

See none of this Child play stuff like the stuff written by the GREAT BISHOP EMMY NOMINATED GMA AWARD RECIPIENT Hez Walker...

Hallelujah....

If we are not going to at least try to admonish the words of Paul in Ephesian and Colossians (singing hymns and psalms and spiritual songs, making MELODY in our hearts unto the LORD), What other recourse is there?

1. This is a beautiful song Anonymous. I'll have to make a note of this one definitely. Yes, musicians in church now AND PREACHERS are trying to jam so much now to where you don't know if you in church or at a nasty Nicki Minaj concert, lol. It's crazy. I had this "Bishop" to whisper in my ear, "Bruh, make it a little more funky." Yep, make it a little my funky Anonymous. smh. Yes, I'm outta there and thank God in a Word church. But anyway, that's the foolishness that's out there.

3. I agree with timezone. A commitment to following Jesus should be included in that post. I'm also concerned with the part seeking a musician to help grow the ministry. It appears that they are hoping music can grow a ministry...what does that mean? A ministry should grow as God leads it, not as a musician can sway the crowd.

1. Thanks ChelleBelle. You are correct, on it should never be the music or musician to draw the crowd, but it's sad that that's why some folks goto church. It's ridiculous. This is a church driven by emotion and not the spirit of God.
