More Americans Say That You Can Be Good Without God?

Reader for the first time, a majority of Americans — 56 percent — say it is possible to be a good person without a religious belief. So says new Pew Research Center data drawn from two polls conducted among about 5,000 American adults in June and July. “God is not a prerequisite for good values and morality,” Greg Smith, Pew’s associate director of research, said in a post about the findings. ” … [T]he public’s increased rejection of the idea that belief in God is necessary for morality is due, in large part, to the spike in the share of Americans who are religious ‘nones.

Sologamy; Women Who Marry Themselves!

Reader would you marry yourself? These three women did! Nowadays more and more women are taking part in sologamy, which is a committed ceremony to yourself in front of family and friends.  I posted about this awhile ago. Seems like its becoming popular. What do y'all  think about this new trend of women marrying THEMSELVES?

Nadine Schweigert (36), Yasmin Eleby (40) and Chen Wei-yih (30), all successful women in their careers but not so successful in love. All three of these women are married to their own self.

The ceremony is not recognized by the church, however, it is a “spiritual” affair witnessed by close friends, officiating minister and family, decked out with bridesmaids, a reception and all! Thoughts?

You can read about it here:

  1. I can understand making a certain level of commitment to yourself. To focus on treating yourself better.

When you invite friends, family & have an entire affair catered for YOURSELF, (complete with brides maids) you have stepped off the bus into crazy town. (Speaking of crazy, Juanita Bynum; NOT A DOCTOR)

And what minister would perform a wedding between Me & Myself???

I can only guess that these women don't believe there are any men good enough for them or they have given up on men entirely.

Notice you never hear of any men (straight men any way) marrying themselves.

I can only imagine the conversation.

Groom: Hey I am getting married next week.

Cop: Great. Who's the lucky lady?

Groom: there's No lady, I am marrying myself. I would like you to be the best man.

😳 ummmm I WILL BE BUSY.
But let me tell you about Jesus.

    1. Cop.. It's crazy my friend. I know.. Folks are loosing it. smh

  2. Another trick of the enemy or just outright foolishness, humm...?
