Jekalyn Carr Reveals New Album “The Life Project” Coming Soon!

Reader, I'm one of this young lady biggest fans and it has been nice seeing her grow up into the powerhouse she is today.  A few years ago she hit the scene as a child of the kingdom of GOD who blew our minds with “Greater Is Coming,” now the 18-year-old witness for Christ, is gearing  to release her third album, The Life Project. The new project will be lead by a single called “You’re Bigger,” due out early this year.... which speaks to God’s power over our circumstances. “You’re bigger than the universe. You’re bigger than the sun and the stars. You’re bigger than the things that could tear me apart,” she professes in the song written by Allen Carr, who also wrote “Greater Is Coming.” Stay tuned for the official release date of The Life Project by Jekalyn Carr.

  1. My guess is, she'll probably end up like a lot of these Black Gospel Artists (Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Mary Mary, LeAndria Johnson, etc). She'll become what she learns. As part of the gospel music industry, she'll gravitate towards the secular. She'll continue to use her talent to stir in a mixture of entertainment and emotion when performing. She'll sing songs where lyrics are trite and dumb down The GOD of the universe. Our Eternal God is not just bigger than the universe, bigger than the sun and the stars, He is CREATOR of the universe, CREATOR of the sun and stars. She'll profess in her songs an emphasis on "I" and "me", a message, a far cry from God's word "He must increase, I must decrease". As long as she is a part of that Gospel Music Circle, I don't see a godly future for this young lady. They will ne no "GREATER COMING" as long as she is a part of this ungodly trend.

    1. Shut up, you don't know what you are talking about. Have you heard any of this young lady sermons or teaching? That's what I thought! Just running that mouth.

    2. Again, like I said...I've seen this movie before. I haven't heard her sermons, but I've heard the message in her songs. For example, her song "My Greater is Coming" goes like:

      Eyes haven't seen (greater)
      Ears haven't heard (is coming)
      My greater is coming (greater)
My greater is coming (is coming)

There is no meaning to this song from a Biblical sense. The LORD already promised the ultimate "greater" (I guess if you want to call it that) for His people. He's promised a place where they would spend eternity with Him, no more suffering - no more tears. I don't get that she's talking about "greater" from this perspective with her song. I'm guessing a good life experience of some type of favor (????). We should not have to guess. Her message in song should be clear to her listeners. This song is ambiguous with jumbled lyrics that really leads to nowhere about a "greater" to come. And this is the case with most gospel music produced in this culture.

What she is doing is nothing new, just a different person doing it. SHE herself may not be aware she following the trend of black gospel music .Black gospel music by artists like James Cleveland (homosexual, spread AIDS to young man); Kirk Franklin (Losing my religion, now partnering with Kanye West); Yolanda Adams (doing her Remix of A Beatles Song "Imagine"); Mary, Mary (with all their issues); Hez Walker (divorced his wife in the midst of vicious rumors, now a bishop); and the list goes on. These artists are part of a gospel music culture that dumb down the real truth of Christianity.

And one more thing… you need not come across as a bully in your speech. I don’t think I have to explain what I mean. Folks like you, who only feed off songs and sermons by artists like this young lady often show themselves to be childish and rude.

    3. Don't get mad Betty Sue. Get Saved. Christ died for your sins. He went to the cross. shed His blood, died so that you can live. You can't do anything to be saved, no matter your love for Black Lives Matter. No matter all you do for the community. It is not by work that any man or woman should boast. All you got to do is Believe in Jesus, His works, not His color. God came to this earth, died and rose from the dead. You and all BLACK lives need to believe in Him. Trust to live your lives in Him and reach others with the gospel.
