Trump says he’s fulfilled his promises to Christians, but he really means white evangelicals

Image
Reader according to The Washington Post, it sounds like 45 will be fulfilling no more campaign promises made to white conservative evangelicals. I repeat, in "my opinion", white conservative evangelical Christians are among the very worst people this country has every produced. Given half a chance, they would re-institute slavery, stone women to death in the streets for adultery (but never the men), legalize rape, execute homosexuals en masse, cart Jews off to the gas chambers, and set the world on fire all in the name of their god. We know this because they tell us that's what they want to do. They're proud of their hate until you call them monsters. Then you're attacking their faith and they're being "persecuted."

Fix It Jesus: Christian Rapper Jahaziel Renounces Christianity?

Reader the news and the disappointment of Christian Rapper Jahaziel renouncing his Christianity yesterday was all up and down my timeline. Former, UK-based Christian rapper Jahaziel released a shocking statement, renouncing Christianity on his Facebook page yesterday. The rapper didn't only renounce Christianity he also renounce the Bible, and some of his reasons include the way it treats women as second class citizens, its controlling dictatorship, its emasculation of men, etc.

His fans and followers are asking a lot of questions.   After having a powerful testimony for so many years of being saved, delivered, and sold out for the Kingdom of God, what happened?
To all of a sudden boldly renounce and somehow doubt the existence of God. Folks are saying even when ‪Mali_music‬ announced his shift from gospel to secular, he never for once doubted God's existence or spoke against the bible.

  1. I totally laugh out loud at the ridiculous transition of this dude. OK someon help me here. He decided to renounce Christianity and the Bible because he understands the Bible (probably never even read the book) to treat women as second class citizens, its controlling dictatorship, its emasculation of men, but will remain a "rapper" and do "Holy" Hip hop (no such thing btw), where it has been that rap disrespect women, black people, children, God and country. This is what the Bible describes as the action of a fool. I am not concerned about these type who claim to be professing Christ anyway. These infidels will never bring shame to Christ and His Body. The gates of hell will never prevail against the church. This dude is a nutcase.

    1. I agree 100%... I question this artists salvation, as we know many use the church to further their personal agenda.

    2. REV...no need to "question this artists salvation." Dude is not SAVED. He already said on his Facebook page he is not a Christian. He has not only renounced Christianity, but the Bible as well.

  2. 2 Thess 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

  3. I'm praying for him. But sadly, this is the image the world gets from Christianity. I wondered if he actually read the Bible...

  4. Lets get Real! He never was " Born Again "..more than likely ! 1 John 2:19 King James Bible
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us."

    3. Let us be real. The Gospel Industry is ran by the same companies like Sony, etc. These people are chosen (because they want to be signed so bad to a record label) that they are willing to claim Christianity, rap it. Then denounce it, saying that the Bible is a "whirr's man" beliefs and that we are fools. To make Christianity look bad. And like you said, people believe all Christians are just like him and true Christians are not.

  6. When gifted and talented individuals pursue the course of action that Jahaziel took this week, we must not only pray for him as a person but pray he be convicted of his actions. The Bible has troubling passages, but that is why we read God's word. He should heed 2 Timothy 3:16-17 and understand those passages were written under an ancient cultural framework. One we understand historical and cultural backgrounds assuming we ask the Holy Spirit for guidance, we can live out the truths of the Bible. Another thing I pray for is God sending individuals in his life that can teach and disciple him in the things of God. Gospel rappers struggle because they are trying to succeed in competing arenas and can be influence by ungodly leadership. God sends individuals to entertainment industry to be salt and light, not "fit in" and eventually compromise their values.

  7. The point about the Bible being written under an ancient cultural framework suggests that it may not be applicable to the present day. I am convinced that the overwhelming majority of people who read the Bible don't know the history of the Bible. As a result, they accept scriptural interpretations as given from the pulpit to be accurate when there is such a complexity to the books and verses, including why we have the canon that we have. It should not be surprising that people don't agree with what is in the Bible because people who actually "agree" with the Bible disagree on how they interpret the Bible.

    1. Got it DC Joe...
The Bible written under ancient culture suggests it may not be applicable for today. Statements like "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" is out of date because sin is not really relevant in our modern world. Other scriptures like this one are antiquated. And you statement "It should not be surprising that people don't agree with what is in the Bible because people who actually "agree" with the Bible disagree on how they interpret the Bible." is really clear, and shed light on a little bit of nothing, if you know what I mean...

  8. When a person takes this course of action, it indicates that they are very dissatisfied with their life situation. Maybe he looks around at all of the young secular rap artists and how they are making millions. This might be registering to him that his religious faith has 'betrayed' him. After twenty (20) years, this could be some type of 'mid career' crisis. My suggestion......just go on to other things and not make this a 'cause de celebre'.

  9. If you read his falling away testimony in its entirety you will realize that the conversion or "new birth " the bible talks about never happened in his life. This is one of the sadest things that can happen to a person. I hope God opens his eyes once and for all and provides full assuramce of faith until death, through the power and sealing of the Spirit. Christianity is not a religion, it is Christ in "you", the hope of glory.

    1. Anonymous, you are so right! Unfortunately this is the case with many in black gospel. They never really had a ""new birth " like the bible talks about. I mean...when I got saved, I can tell you exactly how the word of God reached my dieing soul letting me know God provided for me a Savior in His Son. I remember the exact scripture being taught, and the Spirit of God giving me light through the word. What an awesome experience to know and believe that God loved me so much, He died for my sins. This truth alone should compel us to live and preach and pray and trust and tell others and hope and love and rejoice and repent and study and die to this world, so that Christ will be glorified.

  10. AMEN! Likewise I can testify to that as well! praying for this guy to have that same experience as well. There are so many people out there that only stop's at religion & never really had a real born Again experience with Jesus. It is truly a big difference. Praise the Lord.
