Why Is Jim Bakker Still Bilking Innocent Naive Folk For Their Money As He Has Always Done??.
Reader's fear mongering has always been good for business. It drives me crazy everytime I flip pass this man show, he's promoting survival kits, food, generators, organic powders, purified water the list goes on. He spends only a few minutes of his show talking about end times and hardly spends anytime telling unbelievers how to receive Jesus Christ As Lord And Savior. In these last and evil days, we need to be sharing the Gospel, not how you can spend $5000 dollars on food to survive tough times.
In whom will you beleive? Jesus said He will take care of you.... Just have faith in Him not in Survival kits. Many people have made personal fortunes scaring the hell out of others, and the church is not immune to this sort of thing; in fact, it is full of them. I’m talking about the people who constantly sell negativity and catastrophe, all the while preying on people’s emotions for the sole purpose of taking their money and giving them nothing valuable in return. In this case, we look no further than to Jim Bakker.
Remember, Bakker is the televangelist who actually spent some time in prison for bilking his flock. In 1989, he was found guilty of fraud and served five years in prison. He had defrauded over 152,000 people who gave to his Heritage USA park. He also had an affair with church secretary Jessica Hahn and paid her hush money to keep it a secret. That didn’t work out very well for him.
Any ways, Bakker is back with a new ministry, a new wife and a new focus. Now he sells survivalist food. Yep. Because even in the End Times, you have to eat. Apparently, his customers don’t know — or don’t care — that Bakker has already served prison time for using his follower’s faith to rip them off. His survivalist gear ranges from a “fuel-less generator” to “emergency fuel buckets” to buckets of whole wheat.
