Pastor And Author David Jeremiah “unethical" Practices?

According to WorldMagazine.com, George Hale, former chief financial officer at the Turning Point Ministry, of Dr. David Jeremiah claims the pastor used questionable methods to secure a spot on the best seller lists. According to the former employee the ministry would purchase copies of at least three of Dr. Jeremiah’s books to push them onto "The New York Times" bestseller list. If true, this is very disappointing.

  1. I am beginning to think these pastors and their churches don't understand what is a true BEST SELLER.

A true best seller is achieved with INDIVIDUAL sales.

Not the church YOU ARE PASTORING buying your first 20,000 copies WITH CHURCH MONEY before the book even hits the stores.

I get the feeling a lot more pastors will be falling into this deceptive form of selling books for their own profit.
