To God Be The Glory, Rae Lewis-Thornton Is Living And Not Dying!
Thank you Ms. Thornton for all that you have done and continue to do. What a wonderful article, I so admire this beautiful lady. What a powerful story. If this doesn't motivate you, I don't know what to tell you. I have been following her on Facebook for quite some time. I salute her for being so open, and fighting to educate people about the disease and how anyone is prone to get it, if they do not play it safe. I am thankful she is fighting, and not dying. Thank you Ms. Thornton for all that you have done and continue to do.
I also agree with the following comment, we cannot let our guard down even though being diagnosed with HIV is no longer a death sentence, we should never, ever, stop being vigilant about keeping ourselves safe, educating others, having empathy for the infected and still fight for a cure. Prevention is STILL better than cure.
Twenty years ago, Rae Lewis-Thornton told the world she had AIDS on the cover of ESSENCE. See how she's defying death and living her life.
