Pastor Charles Jenkins Comes Clean About Affair and Mistress’ Six Figure Salary!

According to "The World Wide Web", on Easter Sunday,  Pastor Charles Jenkins admitted to an 8 year adulterous affair. He shared his sin before his congregation at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, Ill, with his lovely wife standing beside him.

  1. So if the photo didn't come out, this affair would not have ended? Being a "first lady" may not be so desirable after all... And then you have to stand there beside your husband supporting him, like he was sick or fired or so... really tough... That's why it's important to know if the Lord REALLY CALLED YOU to be a pastor. People continually mistake talent for anointing. I always say if talent was equal to anointing then MJ was one of the most anointed men regarding the effect he had on people. Talent makes us prideful that's why humility is very important for every christian. Neglecting the Lord for EIGHT YEARS?! What was he preaching about during these years? There are so many questions one ask about this situation. Hopefully he REPENTS, NOT share his sin and takes time to seek the Lord....

  3. Cop has questions:

So if the photo was never made public would he still have announced he cheated on his wife?

He had a RELATIONSHIP (NOT affair) with another woman for half of his marriage and he expects us to believe his wife just said, "You are forgiven"? No counseling, no time on the couch, no shoes throw at his head.

He FIRED 2 people from the church so his chick on the side could have a 6 figure salary while "WORKING" (wink wink) next to him? And the church doesn't think this is a reason to kick this "man of Gawd" out of the pulpit?

Something tells me there is even more to this story.
But It will slowly come to the light.

  4. I'm a member of Fellowship but wrong is wrong even if everyone is doing it and right is right even if no one else is doing it. It's a sad day for Chicago because Jenkins has done a lot for the community. I'm not going to make excuses for him, he needs to step down immediately!

  5. I honestly believe he should be removed from the position. I am so tired of people supporting wrongdoing like this. When a man/woman accepts the call to pastor he/she automatically assumes every spiritual and moral responsibility to uphold such a special office. I think, Rev. Clay Evans should fire Charles Jenkins for disrespecting the legacy and work that he and his family started over 60 years ago. It's time for someone to take a stand against corrupt leaders.

  6. It is going to be a sad day on judgement day when these so call pastors are going to have to stand before God Almighty and give an account of their works and secret sins.
