Black Church Announcement:We Will No Longer Support NPR!

I regularly listen to Tell Me More, the barber shop segment was one of my favorite parts of the show. Tell Me More, and Keeping It Real with Rev. Al was the only talk radio I listen to both or wonderful programs.

Anyhow, a black church group is telling its members to keep their money. NPR recently canceled “Tell Me More,” its only program featuring an African-American host, and now the National Black Church Initiative, a faith-based coalition of 34,000 churches, is calling on all African Americans not to donate to National Public Radio.

The show, which was hosted by veteran journalist Michel Martin, focused regularly on issues and concerns of the black community.
