Who You Calling A Role Model?

Chandra "Deelishis" Davis the former reality TV star who made headlines for posing for pornographic photographs and publicly making a not normal sex confessions, is in a new controversy. During an interview with Jamie Foster Brown in February the former reality co-star of "Flavor of Love 2"compared herself to Oprah Winfrey and First Lady Michelle Obama in an attempt to paint herself as a role model to women.

This is definitely a controversial marketing tactic to say the least.I am not a judge of people...never will be..not my place.... but when you are in the public eye...everything you do is up for scrutiny...because that is the lifestyle that you chose. I don't no Deelishes , Michelle or Oprah except through television... What I do no is Deelishes and Michelle have the most important job in the world and that is mother... Now this is what I keep thinking about.... How does Deelishes daughter feel about the message that she is sending to the world? Too me Deelishes played the sex game and it looking like she's getting ready to switch gears...I really don't know... with her comparing herself to Oprah and Michelle Obama is where she is aspiring to be is a good thing.

Deelishis, have started a foundation called F.L.A.W. (Feeling Like a Woman) that helps women address same gender hate, says she was nearly poisoned at a southern state hotel after a female hotel employee "let her own insecurities get the best of her." Orlando Gordon has rumored to have recently ended his relationship with after he felt her photos and sexual reputation were not a good influence for his three daughters.

Question: Have the meaning of role model changed in the last year?

role model
A person who serves as an example of the values, attitudes, and behaviors associated with a role. For example, a father is a role model for his sons. Role models can also be persons who distinguish themselves in such a way that others admire and want to emulate them. For example, a woman who becomes a successful brain surgeon or airline pilot can be described as a role model for other women.
