Michael Winans, Jr Have Owned Up To His Wrong Doing !

Michael Winans, Jr a member of the legendary Winans gospel family,is back in the news once again. Young Michael have made a full confession and acknowledge to targeting and swindling the pew sitters of a number of  Detroit area churches in an investor scheme, gone bad. More than 1,000 investors were defrauded of anywhere from $1,000 to $7,000 each from October of 2007 through September of 2008, according to the Detroit Free Pres".

At one time during his young career  Michael  Winans Jr. was a member of the contemporary gospel quartet, Winans Phase 2, which included his cousins Marvin Jr., Carvin III and Juan Winans. The group released one CD, ‘We Got Next’ in 1999.

Now,  I have a questions or two:  Why are pastors allowing these types of presentations in  the church any way?  Why are so call people with business agendas even given a platform in the church?   Why are church folks most vulnerable and trustworthy toward these kinda of schemes?

Church Folks!

Have you every met someone who's up set over the treatment they received at the hands of church folks? You no folks who condemn instead of help? Or who neglected folks when they should have sought them out, restored them spiritually and returned them to the flock? I have! and it's a hard job to witness to hurt people...I work with a sista who's mad as hell right now with her church and husband....She has stop going to church and seem to be giving up...Hurt church folks can easily convince a jury it should never have happen...And it shouldn't! But it did and reliving it won't change it! I ask the sista to think with me one moment: If she were mugged and taken to the hospital would she spend all her time obsessing about the mugger who beat her up, would she? No, Her main concern would be recovering as fast as possible! Ironically, with physical wounds we seek help immediately, but emotional ones we're inclined to focus on the problem instead of the solution...Bottom line the church will always have folks who speak without thinking and hurt others...But, if you're part of the body of Christ and apart from it you've no function, no spiritual food supply and no fulfillment, so you die spiritually...It takes the same energy to choose healing as it does bitterness but the results are very different. One leaves you paralyzed by the past, the other gives you hope for the future.
