I am a Christian. I have surrendered my life to Christ and have accepted Him as my personal Savior. Having said that, I am not one to use my faith (note that I did not say "religion") as a hammer to try and enforce anyone's behavior to act or believe what I do. I believe that I can live a Christian lifestyle and set a Christian example and that will suffice. This is my personal rant about the going on within the church. I have an opinion (opinions are ideas largely based on personal experiences and preferences) that certain things should not be allow in the real church. The real church focus should be about winning souls for the Kingdom. I don't like competition within the church that's something that really irks me. I was reading this article in which a church in Houston Texas who held a choir competition in which they actual picked a winner. I don't understand this, how can you possible sing with anoint uplifted voices too a Holy God on Sunday morning then turn around and sing the same songs for competition purpose? Why is any and every thing allow in some churches? Is it because the church is not making sure a person has been born again before, they are place in important positions? Hey! I am really trying to escape some of this election talk. Do any one else has a problem with this?
