The saddest may be that this is playing out in front of someone who has been trying to get themselves together or has started overcoming serious issues and now will regress and maybe never get back. I am not so concerned that it gives folks fodder to further criticize the church. Anyone that thinks that this situation is true of all churches and preachers is just looking for an excuse or justification not to belong to a church.
