Lord Have Mercy, Another Church Testimony Gone Wrong!

What's y'all thoughts about this video? Was there a lack of knowledge and wisdom used here? Was this just your typical black church behavior? Why did she stay in a marriage for 15 years, especially if she had knowledge of her daughter being molested by the preacher/husband, what kind of mother does that? Most important, did she report the molestation to the police or just went to church and shouted over it?

I honestly think once a person gets a church "mic" in their hands. All protocol goes out the door. These church "mics" makes folks feel like they have power. The dysfunctioning here is on full display. Hurt people hurt people. Hurt people cheering the hurt. True forgiveness does not shame another.
Go to the 4:20 mark.

  1. They aren't cheering the hurt, they are praising for FORGIVENSS and DELIVERANCE Ms. Ann!

  2. Come On Ms. Ann, you can't say folks should be transparent in church, then when they give their testimony you say it's gone wrong. No disrespect Ms. Ann. But I'm confused.

    1. Anonymous what are you talking about? Yes I agree that we need to be more transparent in and out of church but we also need to have some dang common sense with it. Why did she stay in a marriage for over 15 years to a preach/husband who was molesting her (her own words) child? If she was going to grab the mic and throw her ex-husband under the bus for child molestation, but does not say anything about what she did about it, is not being transparent, it's being reckless and foolish. In my opinion, she was just exposing him because she was mad with him.

    2. Ms. Ann I believe your "Troll" has returned to your blog. Anyhow, I have zero to say about her testimony other than the part where she is calling out her husband as if an after thought. For goodness sake, the man sexually abused your child.

    1. Anonymous thanks for the comment in which I agree with, her testimony went off track when she mentioned what her ex did to her daughter.

    2. Ms. Ann. She said what her ex did to her daughter. But she didn't leave it at that. She said she confronted the situation and GOD DELIVERED. We need to praise God with this lady. It may have taken 15 years, but remember the Israelite wandered for 40 years and God gave them a land flowing with milk and honey. PRAISE JESUS!

    3. This woman ALLOWED" her child to sexually molested by her preacher/husband, let that sink in. I don't know if you are trying to be funny or not but that's a very poor example you posted, the idea of wandered in the wildness for 40 years can not be compared to a child being sexually molested by an adult.

    4. The woman testified DELIVERANCE Ms. Ann. Let us rejoice and be glad!

What deliverance did she testify about? She was wrong and so was the pastor wrong, he was laughing so he knew this was bad and should have stopped her and said we not gonna do this here. So she got her freedom at the expense of embarrassing her ex in church. If he did you wrong it's called press charges. Then she closed it out by say free from sickness and disease.

Ann, I got questions and I'm confused too...

      1. Were the allegations investigated?

      2. How are the kids doing now?

      3. Would this embarrass them, traumatize them, or leave them feeling exposed?

      4. Was the purpose to pursue justice for the kids?

      5. How does their Holy Ghost work? Bc mine won't release me to shout if kids have been sexually abused...

Perhaps the congregation knows that these questions have been answered, but the general public does not so why livestream this?

  5. LADY BROCK , I AGREE WITH YOU TOTALLY. SHE IS A DISGRACE OF A MOTHER SHE SHOULD HAVE WENT TO THE POLICE AND HER HUSBAND SHOULD HAVE BEEN BUT IN JAIL. WHAT KIND OF PARENT KNOWS THAT THERE CHILD IS BEING MOLESTED AND STAY WITH THAT CRIMINAL AND YOUR CHILD IS CONSTANTLY BEING HURT OVER AND OVER AGAIN . SHE IS TEACHING HER DAUGHTER THAT IT IS O.K. TO BE MOLESTED AND TO BE ABUSED BY ANY MAN OR WOMAN. YES YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO FORGIVE THEM FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO YOU IF WE ARE SAVED . UNFORGIVENESS IS A CANCER THAT DESTROYS YOU NOT THE PERSON THAT HURTS YOU. GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF THEM. THE DAUGHTER NEEDS PROFESSIONAL MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING AND THE MOTHER NEEDS SOME PROFESSIONAL MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING . THE MOTHER WAS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT HER LIFESTYLE AND TITLE THAN SHE WAS FOR HER CHILD. IT IS DISGUSTING AND HORRIBLE .I WENT TO CHURCH ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THE FAMILY WORSHIP LEADERS WAS TEACHING AND PREACHES ON HURT PEOPLE'S HURT PEOPLE'S . THEY MISSED THE MARKED. HIS WIFE GAVED A TESTIMONY ABOUT TWENTY FIVE YEARS LATER SHE STARTED SCREAMING ON A SATURDAY MORNING. SHE WAS THINKING ABOUT SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED TO HER WHEN SHE WAS A CHILD. HER DAD DIDN'T BUY HER THREE SKIRTS LIKE HER SISTER. SO HER HUSBAND TOOK HER TO THE STORE AND BOUGHT HER THREE SKIRTS. SHE NEVER EVER GOT ANY PROFESSIONAL MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING . AND SOME OF THE THINGS SHE WAS SAYING SHE STILL NEEDS PROFESSIONAL MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING. CHURCH FOLKS NEEDS TO WAKE UP AND STOP BEING STUPID AND IGNORANT. YOU CAN'T SHOUT AND TESTIFY OUT EVERYTHING .

    1. It had to be more than the three skirts. I agree these type people need biblical counseling. As far as mental health, a lot of people suffer from depression. They then are advised to take prescription drugs which in many cases make matters worse. A good shout may not be so bad when you look at a lot of the other alternatives. There is nothing too hard for God.

  6. Ann you're on point. These folks like Anonymous are in denial which is a major part of the problem. The Bible is full of misogyny and tones of forgiveness which some use to excuse their behavior, like some are trying to do here. I work with survivors, including children. I've also worked with perpetrators. These atrocities and the people who protect this behavior should both be held accountable. Members need to speak up and do what's right. It's easier to brainwash people than to convince them that they are brainwashed. Now a days you never know what's really going on behind doors.

  7. Miss Ann, I watched this video about two weeks ago and I felt back then that she SHOULD NOT have brought up her ex-husband.

Now I'm reading elsewhere that there was NO molestation committed.

Somehow, somewhere, the truth is out there.

    1. Thanks Mike for the comment. I saw that comment also, if there were no molestation, then why lie on the ex?

    2. Mike I commented about this a while ago. I saw the whole video. She left her Pastor husband who molested her daughter. I get her anger, but she should've pressed charges and had him thrown in jail. Her putting him on blast via LIVE Stream was weird and petty. It showed that she really wasn't healed and fully delivered like she claimed. The church loves to hide under "God told me to" to do their dirty work. Too many games.

    3. Ann I'm with you, this was handled very stupidly.. someone should of had enough sense in that building to say stop, maybe the pastor.

    4. The Pastor wasn't going to say anything. He knew right from wrong, but there was no way he was gonna be the wet blanket and rebuke that lady.

    5. Amazing. This woman said she is FREE, free from sickness and disease, yet you would have here bound. Like pressing charges and having him put in jail would make her free. I don't think she was trying to put him on blast, rather she was giving her testimony what God did for her.

According to the FULL VIDEO, the pastor was teaching/preaching about forgiveness. He instructed the congregation to look into the camera and say I forgive you. Her testimony particularly was special considering that she was married to a pastor who had molested their daughter. Because of her anger toward him she developed a brain tumor. When her pastor encouraged the lesson of forgiveness, and she did so from the heart- she went back to the doctor and the tumor was no longer there. In saying she had to expose him to the enemy she was pretty much saying though his actions SHOULD HAVE KILLED HER, she would leave him to the enemy considering that he had already become one to her. It was truly a message of forgiveness and healing.
