Beth Moore Pens A Powerful Letter About the Importance of Women Leaders And The Threat Of Misogyny In The Church.

Y'all I have never been a huge Beth Moore fan but I have admired her more and more this past year are so. She is courageous and I think this piece speaks volumes about her character. Lord, watch over her and her family because I know this took a lot of courage to write.( A Black Man Response To Beth Moore )

Author, preacher and teacher Beth Moore has posted a powerful open letter titled “A Letter to My Brothers” on her website, and along with calling on men in the Church to correct a pervasive culture of misogyny, it also outlines some of the challenges she has faced being a high-profile woman in ministry.
( You Can Read It Here )

  1. There are a lot of women leaving Beth Moore ministry.

    1. This is a absolutely disgusting tactic that the devil has used to prohibit powerful women called to five fold ministry. What about the the house of Chloe Paul addressed? A house church led by a woman. Unfortunately, the men that have this attitude often have some disgusting skeletons in their closets and they see women as sex objects, not ministers of the gospel. Jesus does not limit the power in me when I minister just because I’m a woman.

    2. And how do you know that the house of Chloe was led by women? This is the kinda stuff that rebellious women come up with to justify women leading in ministry. The verse"s" said -

"For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ? Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?"

It said NOTHING OF the SORT this HOUSE CHURCH was led by WOMEN! Only those of her HOUSE declared unto PAUL, there was CONTENTION. Some said they were of Apollos, others of Cephas, and yet others said they were of Christ.

Some of y'all see a woman's name in the Bible and immediately assume leadership.

  2. A lot of her teaching is unbiblical. She's playing the "misogyny" card. REALLT?

  3. Ann after reading her letter I am moved to comment.
The problems she writes about are real, but is it right to handle it in this manner? It seems that the spirit of offense has maybe clouded her judgement. Just because something is true does not make it edifying. David and Saul had their problems and many would say David would have been justified if he had killed Saul. Certainly being hunted for 14 years was pretty horrible. But David dealt with it through love and mercy. I think sister Beth has indeed been mistreated. But she needs to take it to God and lay it at his feet. He will fix it. And she needs to forgive and move forward. Christ told us very clearly how to react to those who hurt us. This article is a wonderful teaching tool. Do we react to offenses with justifiable retaliation or with love and forgiveness?

    1. Yeah Right! She wants to be a preacher of the Gospel, she needs to accept what comes along with it. Paul had to face may obstacles. The believers did not believe he was an apostle and feared he was a murderer who would kill them. He had to prove he was an apostle because many doubted his calling. Five different times the Jewish leaders gave him thirty-nine lashes. 25 Three times he was beaten with rods. Once he was stoned. Three times he was shipwrecked. And she's complaining about someone discriminating against her when the fact of the matter is this women is FILTHY RICH because of her support from itchy ears of both men and women. Paul counted EVERYTHING as LOST when he accepted the call to become the APOSTLE of the GENTILES.

"Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith."

He considered his birthright as a Jew, his standing as a Pharisee, that he was Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews as NOTHING BUT DUNG!

Yet this Beth Moore woman screams because a man says she is prettier than another woman. She has not gone through ANYMORE than the Average Saint. As a matter of fact, I'd say she is WAY MORE PRIVILEDGED!

So STOP the MADNESS and use some discernment PEOPLE. This lady is a false teacher, and HER ROTTEN FRUIT to cry about her mistreatment is EXACTLY the results of her VERY OWN REBELLION!

"But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence."
