A Shelter Require Homeless Women To Attend Megachurch And Tithe!!

Image
Reader this is a doggone shame, a homeless woman says a shelter required her to attend Church of the Highlands, even though a church where she was a member was about a block away.
A women's shelter in Birmingham requires all residents to board a
van and attended worship services at the Woodlawn branch of the Church of the Highlands each Sunday. They're not given the option to attend any other church. They're also required to tithe every week, despite being homeless.

Bishop T.D.Jakes Lays Hands On Ex pastor Chris Hill!

Reader the Christian community is saying this is a powerful example of a true spiritual father.

Facebook:

Say what you will about Bishop Thomas Dexter Jakes but this is Galatians 6 being carried out in deed! While many in the church are trying to obtain the latest bad news on another saint, the ministries that are flourishing are obeying God's Word. Ye which is spiritual restore such a one with the spirit of meekness, considering thyself lest thou also be tempted! Some church folk play too much while others are hurting, yes even from self-inflicted wounds! All of you armchair Apostles and parking lot prophets need to take a look at a good example of how you restore someone who has been overtaken in a fault before your next blast about their business on social media! I'm just saying! This is so encouraging to me!!! Despite the sin, the mess up, the scandal, the flaw, the public embarrassment... he still forgave and restored his spiritual son. Covered him in prayer! You don't see this hardly at all anymore today! They're still some true spiritual fathers and pastors proclaiming the name of Christ and restoring sons and daughters who may have fallen short! God be praised!

  1. Alright @Cop, Timezone, and Get Outta Here, it's time you put down the stones at men like this fella and Jamal Bryant. How long will ye REHASH the sins of the fellow men?

Look in the mirror lest ye fall into the same snare! You catch more flies with honey (sweetness) than with vinegar (condemnation).

Jakes is showing you three HOW IT'S DONE!

    1. First, Thanks for the shoutout.

Jamal Bryant shouldn't even be in this conversation. Of all his sins and moral failings he has yet to admit or confess fault. If anything he does more bragging about his exploits.

Although I do commend 👏🏾 the church for openly forgiving this man. Certainly it rarely happens in many high profile churches if at all. Especially for one of their own leaders.

(you knew a "HOWEVER" was coming)
HOWEVER, maybe I just don't understand the culture of the Potters house church, but this seemed like a whole lot of fanfare. Complete with drum and guitar solos. This was a great display of emotion and love but Personally I would be more concerned with behind the scenes questions.

      EXAMPLES
What kind of circumstances led him to sleep with a woman who's wedding he officiated?

Is he truly dedicated to serving or did he just love the power & position of a pastor?

Has anyone reached out and forgiven the woman involved?

How are his and the woman he slept with marriages?

      And in my personal opinion
No sitting pastor that uses his power to sleep with a woman should EVER be allowed to lead a church again.

      He can be forgiven,

He can serve in other areas,

But he isn't to be trusted with power that he abused again.

Leading a church should be for a chosen few of a certain character. And if you wielded that power to get your freak on then YOU AREN'T THE ONE!!!

  2. This is an easy one here! As usual your kind never gets it RIGHT, no matter how hard YOU try to wanna be in the moment to justify YOUR foolishness.

    Galatians 6:1
"Brothers, if a man be overtaken in a fault, you which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering yourself, lest you also be tempted."

First of all, Paul addressed the BELIEVERS as "BRETHERN", of which JAKE is neither a believer, nor is he a brother. IT is known Jakes is a false teacher, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought him.
And many shall follow his pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall he with feigned words make merchandise of you:" And I really doubt OLE BOY Chris is a BELIEVER as well/

Secondly when Scriptures mentioned "shall have been overtaken by any fault," the heavy implication here is the sin has reached him more rapidly than he could flee from it, or he is caught red handed. And If memory serves me correct, it was Chris' wife who blew the whistle on him. No telling how long this DUFUS planned intentionally to commit these adulterous acts.

And Thirdly, those who are spiritual (definitely doesn't apply to false prophet Masonic brethern TD Jakes), but let's stretch to say Jakes is a brother, he is to RESTORE in MEAKMESS, not this proud over the top emotional public display of the laying on of hand (his actions even here out of order, as the minister is to lay the hands on the sick for prayer). Need I go on? Or do you want to continue to be deceived, all along while in your STUPOR?

Nope this DUFUS ain't showing me NOTHING!. He is just an arm chair prophet, filled of hot air, blowing smoke to cast a darkness people like you can't see through.

SORRY, there are so many things WRONG here!. When you know the TRUTH, you can smell a lie a MILE AWAY..AWAY...away...away...

  3. Internet Pastor:Monday, 07 August, 2017

As I view this with tears in my eyes, I recall the days the Lord laid the burden of prayer and restoration on me as a young preacher coming up. I've seen much and equally endured much. As a Pastor these 10 years, this has been one of the greatest strengths of my ministry: The Ministry of Reconciliation and Restoration! Everyone wants it but FEW actually have the sensitivity and grace to execute it. I'm humbled to have had and continue to have the privilege of seeing souls still walk out the divine purpose of their lives after restoration under my ministry. Whether near or far, they are all testaments of God's grace. I see beyond the surface and I stand firm with anyone who seeks covering through repentance.

I don't care about being the BEST preacher, hooper, or pontificator. I want to be the best DISCIPLE. We will see if this goes as viral as Pastor Chris Hill's fall. It's indicative of a powerless people. "WHOM" the Lord puts back together, let NO MAN put asunder.

Thank you Bishop Jakes for showing us what true restoration looks like. It's still a necessity.

    1. Cut it OUT Internet Pastor, and STOP in YOUR PRIDE to toot your OWN HORN!!!

The LORD did not lay a "burden of prayer" on YOU. You are no more passionate about prayer than any other believer. if indeed you are a BELIEVER.

About prayer, The LORD has given ALL believers access to come to Him, when Christ tore down the wall of partition that separated us from His Father. We don't need to go through a priest anymore, "For through HIM we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father." Ephesians 2:18 He admonished all of us to be passionate about praying constantly "Pray without ceasing" 1 Thessalonians 5:17 . These things are so plainly taught in GOD's very own WORD, yet some of us wants to BRAG because of knowledge we form on our own.

And about this burden of restoration, He simply says those who are spiritual (Jake is not spiritual, he but butchers the word of GOD grossly), restore him that is overtaken by a fault. You need to do a study on what it means to be spiritual.

And no need to boast about your "gift of reconciliation and restoration" you got a ministry every one wants, but somehow they lack the sensitivity YOU HAVE! Cut it out. Paul mentions the "ministry of reconciliation" very plainly the Spirit of God inspired him in 2 Corinthians 5:18, and for you to add your twist to it is SIN! Paul says "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God." 2 Corinthians 5:17-20

I mean...this is BIBLE! That God reconciled the WORLD to HIMSELF THROUGH HIS SON! Come on DUDE! This is a powerful ministry, has nothing to do with sensitivity. Has to do with being as AMBASSADOR telling the world, THEY have been RECONCILED, NOW be ye RECONCILED! Souls are dying every day, and His people need to share with the LOST the GOSPEL.

Yet you my friend, cry to see JAKES knock this known adulterer who did is dirt in secret, and confessed when he was put on FRONT STREET by his very OWN WIFE! Many here call me "rude" (which BTW I could care LESS about these IGNORAMOUS), but YOUR attitude of PRIDE and BLATANT UNAWERNESS, like so many here, is the WORSE. I'm not convinced one bit YOU are about DISCIPLESHIP. And your reference "whom the LORD put together let no man put asunder", my little grandbaby can tell you Christ is talking about marriage. YOU need to STOP it Internet Pastor.

Cry all you want. The LORD has prepared a place where there will be "REAL weeping, and GNASHING of TEETH."

  4. Miss Ann,

I will say why this was a show for the $$$'s.

If it was about restoring Hill, it was done in a rather boastful manner and not in the "spirit of meekness" (Galatians 6:1).

Question: where is the wife/family in all this, including the persons he has hurt along the way?

Tyler Perry laid hands on TD Jakes, Jakes has laid hands on Hill. Both incidences done in "Living Color" to be seen of men.

"Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure... Some men's sins are open beforehand..." (1 Timothy 5:22:24).

  6. Since I have been called out by the Anonymous at the very top I will respond. This is directed at you Anonymous. Never will you ever hear me say that I do not believe in forgiveness. That is why we exist as a human race and it is the foundation of what has saved the world by the precious Blood of Jesus Christ our Savior. Now you say this is how it's done? Yes, this is wonderful Anonymous, forgiveness between our brothers and sisters in the Lord in love. Restoration is what it's all about. Yes I agree. But I read your comments when you say Anonymous to check in the mirror. I do that daily. Here's the problem; with ministers that make comments that are in 100% error, we within the Body of Christ must say something and not be silent because many of the bishops, pastors etc are looked upon as gods. In many of these questions, no questions are allowed. With that said, if we as a body stay silent and say, "touch not my anointed", one will believe that the black church and the homosexual community can co-exist together, one will believe that Ruth and Naomi had a relationship that bordered lesbianism as the same as Jonathan and David and also one will believe that when a female Muslim ask, "will I get to heaven" and the question is dodged with analytical catch phrases to make that woman feel warm and fuzzy inside, and if they hear this, a person out there will disregard the scripture, "I am the way, truth and the life." These are statements made by this man you say, “Now this is how it’s done.”

And one last thing. If we as a Body say nothing in fear & intimidation in which I have witnessed with my own eyes, it will be that individuals son molested by a bishop or pastor ( and it is happening). Now the word condemnation which you used is a definition of strong disapproval or denunciation. Well, if words against God’s Word are used, you better believe Anonymous, I’m gonna say something. Now if Jakes comes back and refutes along with denouncing these words actually spoken from his mouth, then the world will see truth from a man that has a huge platform before man. Again, is this a great outstanding show of love before men, yes? Praying for one another, which is what I do and I do love one each and everyone of the ministers even in their error, but again, if there’s foolishness coming from the pulpit, and statements made in total error outside the word of God or some jacked up doctrine developed that has no barren of truth, we must speak out because that in itself could possibly be blood on our hands. Thank you and God bless.

  7. Another thing. I hope and pray that Hill moves forward with his life in a miraculous way because the only way through this is through Christ alone.

    1. YUP...Chris Hill will be back on stage preaching a water down word, not true message that will produce no real fruit. He didn't possess the FURIT of self-control as evident by his overheated use of his loins. No telling the abuse his wife must have suffered, and his FAMILY. His hypocritical antic he displayed before his sheep, with possibly not impact though, many of his flock spiritually blinded anyways. All this will disappear because he was knocked down by the hands of the "BLACK POPE", TDJAKES. Yes Melissa, what an awesome display. LOL...I'm quite sure all the TRUTH you hear will take no root in your heart, No wonder the wise man Solomon says...

"Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words."

  9. Many should know by now that whatever Jake the Fake does,it is for his own benefit. Those continually giving him kudos and praises are a deceived bunch and dont want to see him in the light that he, himself, has shown us. He is a slickster, and one day, his day is coming.

    1. He is a liar and a false prophet who says out of his own mouth, Jesus is a product. You will never ever conclude any such foolishness, this idea from Scriptures, the Son of God eternal, the Creator of the Universe, the Savior of the World.

Yet this JAKE'S DUDE (disrespect intended), sells Him like He is some food item in the market place, all along feeding his greed.

  12. Our black folks love a show. And these false teachers let them have it! Just like when Juanita Sheets Bynum kneeled down with a pair of her shoes, and kneeled at Jakes feet and bowed down and gave him her shoes as a servant TO HIM (NOT GOD). And Jakes stood there and let her do it as if he were God!!! And the Lord was not mentioned. The silly church crowd went bananas and what a spectical it was!! You guys better watch these false teachers and use some discernment.

    1. Maybe if you tell your homosexual friendly bishop to do a restoration service for his wife and children and many in his congregation whose faith was made weak because of the acts he committed, or even the women he slept with qns their husbands and children, maybe I'd admire him too William Thomas. Not just his spiritual son with a slap on the head as the crowd went in an uproar. And you respect this man because of this? I laugh at you. You are pitiful.

    1. And they will be a bunch of fools packing the seats to hear him speak. CHRIS Hill never preaches the gospel. HE BABBLES emotional rants to get silly folks excited. I'm quite sure he'll talk about his ordeal as he's been released by Father Jakes to fly like a mosquito. I pray the LORD'S judgment on all those who have a form of godliness, by deny the power thereof.

  15. We need to really pray and not always fall for what is popular. I'm 100% for forgiveness but I just don't know about this one. Many of TD Jakes sons and daughters have fallen: Juanita Bynum, Paula White, Eddie Long(although deceased now), and Blade (current secular name, I cannot remember his other musical name).

  17. Of course God forgives sins...nobody is saying that he doesn't. If this man TRULY repents and has turned from his sin, that is to be commended but pastors, elders, deacons/ministers are held to a different standard. There are qualifications to hold these positions in the Church. Read Timothy and Titus. There are levels to this! This man says he can lead in God's church again after a few short months of his grievous sin, he is literally playing with fire. But God will sort it all out in the end.

    ReplyDelete
  18. What does the Bible say about forgiveness and about one without sin casting the first stone? Foregiveness and showing mercy and grace are true signs of a Christian. Judge not unless ye be judged.
